Liverpool splash out as they bring in 6 new faces!

Liverpool manager Josh Malin has confirmed he has signed 6 new players for a combined total of £34m. Including big name transfer Yoann Gourcuff for a monster fee of £19.5m, however Liverpool did sell aswell with 24 players going out collecting a total of £35m.

Players in:

Yoann Gourcuff - £18m
Juan Arango - £3.5m
Dean Hallam (Regen) - £250k
Eric Abidal - £3m
Roberto Vagnini (Regen) - £7.5m
Pedro Botelho - Free Transfer

Overall happy with the additions to the squad. Especially delighted with Gourcuff obviously but to have Arango and Abidal in the squad will be a big boost.

Decisions, decisions?

Been offered the Birmingham job. In a better financial position and I would like a new challenge after winning the quadruple in my first season. Would continue to update the same. Take it or leave it? XD

Leave It Mate, On A Good Run And It's Time To Take On The Champions League. If You Get Quadruple Again, Go Somewhere Else. Kinda Like Mourinho.
Good Signings Aswell!

gonna leave it til about 11.05 then take the birmingham job if nobody else has commented, i think im reeady for a new challenge :S

Hope you didnt take the birmingham job? Nice signing in gourcuff.hes immense.i was actualy going to reccomend him to you.

Glad you didnt take it mate.Looking forward to seeing another update!:)

Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea (Community Shield)

After a faultless first season in charge, Josh Malin was looking for his fifth piece of silverware as the Liverpool boss. A bright start for Liverpool saw Pacheco miss a few openings, after great work from new signing Juan Arango. But Liverpool were punished when Deco unleashed a pile driver from 25 yards to give Chelsea the lead. Liverpool knocked on the door through-out the game but Chelsea held on to spoil Liverpool's party.

Liverpool 4-2 Aston Villa

Fans had high expectations, after winning the League last year and Liverpool were definitely back with a bang. At half time it was 3-0 after goals from Ballack, Gourcuff and Babel who all seem to be in Malin's first team plans. Liverpool fans hearts were in mouths as a quickfire Gabby Agbonlahor double made it 3-2. But once again Michael Ballack came up with the goods as his second 30 yard strike secured all 3 points for the Reds.

Liverpool 0-0 Sunderland

After a good start to the new Premier League season Liverpool would have liked to push on, but with no Gourcuff, Cole or Torres things seemed a little harder than expected. A plucky Sunderland side kept Liverpool out after they dominated 95% of the game.

This is really good !!! Will follow, please could you look at my story .... From Russia to win-a chelsea fc story

Liverpool sign De Jong on free transfer.

After a disastrous start to the season with Man City, Nigel De Jong was said to be "Unwanted". Having not played one minute of pre-season football he was placed on the transfer list, with no fee. Liverpool manager Josh Malin jumped at the oppurtunity and this could turn out to be the bargain buy of the summer.

Saved over my Liverpool save D: any way of recovering? If not, I'll do another story if anybody would like? :S
