In this story I'm hoping to win as many trophies as quick as possible. I'll be hoping to start in one country and win everything possible at club level then move onto the national side so all in all I will be staying in each country for 4 seasons or there about. I'm currently unemployed so I get a lot of time to play so I will be updating quite regularly.
I have already completed the 1st season so the 1st update will be bringing you up to date of what's happened so far.

I have decided that my career will start off in Spain, I do realise it's probably the easiest option but as I'm only planning on sticking around for a maximum of 4 seasons then I need to start off where I can make an immediate start to the trophy collection and build up my reputation.

View attachment 257312

Barcelona is where I'm going to start my managing career as the team is already set up for me to win the trophies and enhance my reputation quickly. I can probably guarantee that a lot of you won't agree with the way I'm doing this but that's your opinions I guess.

Tactics

The tactics I will be using were all created by what I can only describe as a genius because they've worked for me no matter who I have managed on previous saves.

View attachment 257313 This one will be my main tactic as it is quality

View attachment 257314This will rarely be used as its probably a bit too defensive for Barcelona

View attachment 257315This will be my back-up tactic, mostly used in Europe and the cups

Transfers

With the current Barcelona team being what it is I felt that I didn't really need to bring anybody in, however I did sign 1 player...

View attachment 257317Joined from Mexican side Chivas for £3.9m.

I did sell 2 players as I didn't really see them fitting in to my first team plans...

View attachment 257318Ibrahim Afellay joined P.S.G for £7.25m

View attachment 257319Seydou Keita joined Arsenal for £3.4m

I've used the spain one on an odd occasion, I'll be using it more in the second season.
The possession usually is 65%+ but for some reason its lower against the lower teams in the league.
Yes it is, its definitely the best tactic i've ever used in any fm game.

The only place I thought we needed strengthening was at left back as abidal is getting a bit old now. My main target was Jordi Alba but Valencia wanted £55m for him
:S so I decided instead to go for Alex Sandro from F.C Porto.

A decent set of results to warm us up for the Spanish cup encounter with Real Madrid yet again. In these games I used mainly back-up/youth team players who I am hoping to bring through this season to the first team.

Super Cup
1st leg (Camp Nou)
Real Madrid

As you can see another great performance from my Barcelona team against the bitter rivals. I was extremely pleased with fierro's performance after coming on at half time for a struggling Alexis Sanchez. It is worth noting that David Villa had a goal ruled out for offside early on in the first half and Iniesta hit the bar in the 90th minute so it could of been worse for Madrid. David Villa (M.O.M)

2nd Leg (Santiago Bernabeu)
Real Madrid

View attachment 257559 View attachment 257560 View attachment 257561
I decided to give 18yr old Carlos Fierro a start after his cracking performance coming off the bench in the 1st leg win but it back fired as he never really got going, I took him off at half time for Iniesta. I was a bit disappointed when Marc Bartra scored in his own goal because I thought we were going to hold on for the win. Nevertheless my 1st trophy of the season is a great addition to the 6 from last season. Victor Valdes (M.O.M)

Liga BBVA

Zaragoza (Camp Nou)

The 1st game of our league campaign kicked off in style with a dominating performance. The only downfall I can find with the result is that we didn't score more. Messi got off to a good start scoring a brace continuing his form from last season in which he netted 22 in 28 league games. Lionel Messi (M.O.M)

Euro Super Cup

Sevilla (Stade Louis II)

View attachment 257568 View attachment 257569 View attachment 257570
Consecutive Euro Super Cup wins for the mighty Barca. I feared the worst for the first 20 minutes as Sevilla were all over us with 75% possession, it wasn't untill David Villa popped up to score the opener that we never really looked back. Still a little disappointed with the lack of shots we're actually converting but hopefully with a little finishing practice in coming weeks we'll be able to rectify this. David Villa (M.O.M)

During the Euro's Puyol decided to retire from international duty and that reminded me just how old he was, so I wanted to replace him slowly in my team with someone who is just as strong and determined as he is. I tried for Mamadou Sakho from P.S.G but they wanted £44m for him which I thought was too much for a player that hadn't fully developed yet. So I went for Javi Martinez from Bilbao who has all the stats in place to be a cracking partner for Pique although I have had to retrain him to a centre back. Another signing was Carlos Fierro, and why not the partnership he and Torres could conjure up in a few seasons would be out of this world. Even though I wont be at Barcelona much longer I believe he will be a massive player for me in the future when I sign him for my next club after he develops a little more.
