Pre-Season​


30th July 2009

I will start this entry by apologising for not writing to you recently, I have been busy playing with the team. It has been a busy pre-season for us, we have had 6 games in 21 days! In those 6 games we have 18 goals and conceded 10, pretty good seeing as two of the teams we played:

FM-Baseshire 6-0 Fm-Baseshire Reserves
McTurner 3, King, Dale, Whitehouse

A good performance, I setup 1 goal and probably should have scored

FM-Baseshire 2-1 GH Academy
Ricardinho, King

This scoreline is very unflattering, we could have had 6 their keeper was on top form!

FM-Baseshire 0-3 Man City

A decent performance to be honest, they scored 3 in 5 minutes in the first half but in the second we were the better team!

FM-Baseshire 6-0 Alton
King 2, Whitehouse, Me!, Rikardo, McTurner

The scoreline again isn't very flattening, we had 18 shots, they had 0

FM-Baseshire 2-1 FM Baseshire U18s
King, McTurner

We yet again gave the performance but couldn't finish our chances what so ever!

FM-Baseshire 2-5 Porto
Me, King

A very promising performance from the team and an even more-so for me! I scored a 25 yard free kick and setup Max for his goal to claim the man of the match award!

My pre season stats:
Goals: 2
Assists: 3
Average Rating: 7.3
Passing Accuracy: 50.7
Shots to shots on target: 15.7%

Overall a good pre season for me, I hope it continues!

Yeah, but I can only sign under 21s and do they have to be british?
also I will be a bit behind you guys as you all begun before me so i'm thinking of just holidaying to each game?

6th July 2009.
I woke up to the sound of a bus skidding down the road past my apartment this morning, so I did my usual - have a shower, make some breakfest and a brew and watch Sky Sports News. Before I got into the shower I heard my phone vibrating, so I dashed to it and answered it.. it was a number i'd never seen before.
"Hello?."
"Good morning Mr Nebod it's Josh Rowles here, Manager of FC-Basheshire. I saw you at that trial day a few weeks back?"
I was shocked that Josh Rowles had got back to me.
"I've arranged for a car to pick you up at 12:30pm from your place, it'll bring you over to my house. I have an interesting offer for you."

Me? A football star? My parents would be so proud of me, if they'd have made it to this day.

8th July 2009.
I accepted the offer from FC-Baseshire. I'll now be earning £250 a week and have a chance of playing football for a great team.
Anyways i'd better go i'm meeting a few friends then i've got a training session. I have a few matches coming up soon, so I may be playing in them - who knows?
