What are the team instructions on your possession tactic mate?
 
Good stuff, I'll give the possession tactic another shot, played a few games with it yesterday and it started like a house on fire then just seemed to die. Possession went down and I lost 5 on the spin to pretty average teams.

Just wanted to say thank you for this awesome tactic. I started a career as Spurs. I sacked all of my staff and employed top class ones. Adebayor sold too of course and I brought in Seydou Doumbia. Vertonghen got sold to Barcelona and I bought Samuel Umtiti.
Unfortunately I lost the semi-final in the EURO Cup, but I managed to finish 3 points ahead Man C in the league and clenched the title on last match day. Just amazing. Christian Eriksen was in lethal form playing at ML.

Just wondering if i could change the striker roles? i really want to use everton or southampton, the stikers dont really suit false nine or tranquilizer

change them if you want mate. because they are lone striker roles it is best to have supporting roles so they dont get isolated though
 
Do you find playing a much higher defensive line to be better without offside trap rather than with?
In FM15 I seem to be conceding a lot of goals to over the top balls when closing down aggressively, even when using a (much) deeper defensive line and fairly quick defenders.

This is more to do with mentality, creative freedom, and your defenders mental stats than your defensive line. Also with a high defensive line you need your keeper to push up into the space left behind the defence to act as a sweeper.
 
That does make sense I guess, my defenders normally lose out by a few meters when it happens, so they're not balls that the keeper could sweep up but rather defensive errors and bad positioning I suppose.

You could always try the old fashioned stopper/pairing.

I've found this version much more fun developing tactics to suit players at my disposal. Rather than relying on one of these.

supporting roles for the players around the striker or have the striker on a supporting role?
 
slight change of plan, i fancy using the tactic in the 62 post, do you use any player instructions?

lovely :) thanks! im using it with west ham as they have been on a cracking run latley and on the game have a couple top players, ill keep you updated

Which tactic?

All tactics i have posted throughout this thread work, to an extent. They might need tweaked to be suitable for your team. It might also be that your team just doesnt match the tactic.
