Carlo Ancelotti 4-4-2 by Passion4FM

Insane game. Goals mostly scored from quick counter. Beautiful to watch. Just like the old Fergie's United.

Phil Jones conceded 2 penalties so I took him off. Lucky to not been sent off. Aggression still a problem though. Even after I have Stay On Feet on TI and no hard tackle on OI. My defenders tackling opponents like Bruce Lee..haha. I had both FB suspended twice already. But this tactic is still awesome....

if you changed the OIs and TIs, then it must be your players. Since changing instructions didn't work i suggest switching back to original and waiting it out ... I doubt it will continue like this.

yes the tactic is a real eye candy to watch

Where would you place Farfan, Huntelaar, Chupo-Moting?

and for DLP, is Volland good?

Farfan - either AP or DLF
Huntelaar - not really good attributes for this tactic, but he could work as a CF maybe
Moting - CF

I think you meant Volland as a DLF? yes, he would work very well there

Okay shall try that. I'm almost at the end of season 3 so let's see how it goes. I've got 141m to spend who should I buy?...hmmmmmm

up to you :) it's more fun if you find the players yourself. at least i think so

I have read the OP, it says players like Di Maria and Modric, which are 2 different types of LM

well it's basically a player who will have work rate, and dribbling + playmaking skills. defensive attributes are a bonus but not an absolute must. Work rate to cover the flank, and playmaking attributes to be able to hold possession and create chances when he comes in centrally

I'm using Scott Sinclair and he's been class in the Championship, but because his passing is only 10 was wandering if an AMC type would be better, may try Montolivio when I've wrapped the league up

as long as he performs well it's good, but passing 10 is in general poor. especially in PL where the closing down is more demanding and passing skills must be better to not give the ball away. montolivo seems good for the central midfield, unless you have better players there.

I would love to try this, but can anyone put a screenshot of the tactic so I could see what it actually looks like? Just to see if it would suit my squad before I download it....

I'm on my phone dude at work, can't click on them little pictures that send you to an external site. I just want to see what the shape looks like dude

dunno how else to do it but here

GK - GK-defend
DL - FB-A
DCL - CD-D
DCR - CD-D
DR - FB-A
ML - WP-A
MCL - DLP-D
MCR - RPM-S
AMR - AP-A
STCL - CF-A
STC - DLF-S

Good to see the positive feedback on this tactic. Plays great football with my Hoffenheim side. Volland scored 28 goals in 30 games. Finished 2nd just behind Bayern.

I cant see your images in #1 post! How do you line up Real Madrid? Which player suits which role?

WHich other teams do you think are ideal for your tactic? Teams that already have a suitable squad

Rojo can play CB alongside Jones. Evans and Smalling are the weakest link but they still doing great in the tactic. I trained Valencia at FB so he rotate with Rafael.

Blind can play DLP. Mata doing great for me at RPM and Adnan at AP. Rooney can play AP as well. So there's few attacking option if you are Man Utd. You should buy a good DM and CB/RB.

Had a tremendous amount of joy with this tactic in the first season with Marseille. Retrained Andre Ayew as a striker to fill the CF role. I saw you had mentioned Ronaldo as who the role was supposed to emulate and I immediately thought of Ayew as having the attributes required for that role. He shined until he broke his leg - bagging 21 in 23 games. Brought in Giovinco in January as the absolute perfect DLF for this formation - agile, creative, and with a high work rate. Turned in 13 goals and 8 assists in 18 appearances. Hard to do much better than that. One of the other January signings - Lozano turned out to fare much better than Payet had as well. That's not to say Payet wasn't solid - 2 goals and 12 assists in 19 apps, but I'll definitely take Lozano's 6 goals and 5 assists in 13 games.

I'm certainly interested into how this tactic will fare going into the Champions' League in season 2. Given that I'm playing as Marseille I have a very small transfer fund, but a ton of talented youth at basically every position, so we're going to give it a go with essentially what we've got. I've been given 9m to spend, and I'll likely use that on some cover for the backline and out on the wing. I'll certainly report back with results.
