Well both Manchester clubs were able to make the semi final but only City were able to beat their foreign counterparts and set up a final against Real Madrid. Can they beat the spanish giants?

04 - Champions League Final.JPG

No they can't as they are beaten on penalties 5-4 as for some reason, a CB and GK take 2 of their 5 penalties!!

Europa League Logo.jpg

05 - Europa League SF.JPG

Tottenham are the final English club in the Europa League and have set themselves up for the final against PSG. Can they do what Man City could not?

05 - Europa League Final..JPG

YES THEY CAN, TOTTENHAM, EUROPA LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!. It went down to a penalty shootout against and PSG miss 3 of their 5 penalties to lose 3-2. Well done to chairman @Anderson883 who has won the Europa League and Carabao Cup with both his teams.

1ST NOVEMBER UPDATE

PL Logo.png

01 - PL Table.JPG

So as we reach the end of the first quarter of the season, it is business as usual at the top as Man City and Liverpool are 1 and 2 as always. Surprisingly, Burnley sit 3rd and are exceeding expectations once again. Man Utd currently lie 4th with Chelsea and Tottenham 5th and 6th respectively.

At the bottom, things have not gone well for newly promoted West Brom lately as they have lost 5 on the bounce and now find themselves 2nd bottom. Watford chairman has not done much business with his team and has left things to his manager which seems to be a problem as they find themselves bottom of the league. Southampton chairman @andy_14clark will not be happy and this could be the final straw for manager Milan Van Ommenen as the team continue to fight a relegation battle and have just recently moved off bottom spot. Is it time for a change before it is too late? Bournemouth are lingering just outside the relegation zone. Could the potential sale of the club be affecting on the pitch? Newly promoted Newcastle and Aston Villa find themselves 14th and 15th so things have not been amazing for the newly promoted championship teams.

01 - Premier League Stats.JPG

Haaland continues to do what he does best and has found the net 7 times this season already. Chris Wood is doing really well at Burnley and so is Esposito on his debut Premier League season for Liverpool, both finding the net 6 times. Mbappe continues to excel picking up 4 player of the matches so far.

EFL Championship Banner.png

02 - Championship Table.JPG

As we reach the end of the first third of the championship season, it has been a good start for 5 of the 6 chairman clubs as they occupy 5 of the top spots with Bristol City down in 9th. Huddersfield lead the way and have only made a few changes to the team once against since relegation 2 seasons ago. Palace find themselves in a much better position this time around and sit in 2nd. Leicester, Blackburn and Cardiff follow closely behind the top 2.

02 - Championship Stats.JPG

New signings Troy Parrott and Tammy Abraham both sit 1 goal of top scorer so far with 7 goals a piece. Machine is doing well for Palace, providing 9 assists so far and 5 player of the matches.

Carabao-Cup-Logo.png

03 - Carabao Cup QF.JPG

For a change, the Carabao cup is still in the last 16 stage, with only 4 games being played so far with Blackburn, Sheff Utd, Man City and Fulham making their way into the quarter finals with 4 other chairman clubs joining them with 4 chairman club affairs.

Champions League.jpg

04 - Champions League 01.JPG

04 - Champions League 02.JPG

All 5 chairman clubs in the champions league are finding things comfortable so far with every team in the top 2 so far and only Tottenham not topping their group, just losing out to Barcelona.

Europa League Logo.jpg

05 - Europa League 01 (Only 8 instead of 12 groups).JPG

Both chairman clubs in the Europa league so far find themselves in a qualification spot as they reach the half way mark, with things looking slightly each for Everton than Brighton, who looks like they may need to fight off Rangers to make it through.

1ST JANUARY UPDATE

PL Logo.png

01 - PL Table.JPG

Well no change at the top as Man City and Liverpool continue as 1 and 2 for now at the half way stage. Burnley have let things slip and have dropped from 3rd to 9th. Man Utd now take over 3rd and are 5 points from top. Chelsea and Tottenham occupy 4th and 5th with Norwich doing great again in 6th. Everton, Wolves and Burnley also sit just 1 points behing 5th and 6th so it is very tight. Arsenal will be disappointed again as they linger in 7th.

Out of the 3 newly promoted clubs, Aston Villa are fairing best and find themselves in mid-table in 12th while Newcastle and West Brom sit just outside the relegation zone in 16th and 17th. The south coast is really struggling this season as Southampton find themselves rock bottom with Bournemouth in 18th, only Watford splitting them. Will these club see mass changes during the January window?

02 - PL Stats.JPG

Haaland continues to dominate the league with 15 goals around the half way stage, can he hit 30 in the season? 4 players are on 10. No surprise to see Mbappe up there again but Calvert-Lewin, Neto and Esposito are also doing much better than expected. Ronaldo could be going out with one last push and currently sits top of the assist charts with 9 assists.

EFL Championship Banner.png

01 - Championship Table.JPG

Not much more to show in the league as all 6 chairman clubs occupy the top 6. However, Huddersfield have taken a command and find themselves 9 points clear of Leicester in 2nd. Cardiff are 3 points behind in 3rd with Blackburn in 4th, a further point behind. Crystal Palace have slipped a bit and find themselves 4 points behind Blackburn and 8 points from 2nd. Bristol City have improved and occupy the final playoff spot.

02 - Championship Players Stats.JPG

Abraham and Parrott continue to fire in the goals with Cabrera now making an appearance on the list for Cardiff. The chairman clubs also dominate the assists chart.

Carabao-Cup-Logo.png

04 - Carabao Cup QF.JPG

The quarter finals see Tottenham hammer local rivals Arsenal 5-0, Man City dominate against Sheff Utd and comfortably win 3-0. The other games were slightly closer with Blackburn edging out Aston Villa 2-1 and Norwich have to defeat Fulham in a penalty shootout. How does the draw look for the semis.....

04 - Carabao Cup SF.JPG

Well the two bigger clubs have been pitted off against one another as Man City will face Tottenham while Blackburn and Norwich will meet in the other tie. Could championship club Blackburn win the Carabao Cup??

Champions League.jpg

05 - Champions League Last 16.JPG

Once again, all 5 chairman clubs make it through to the last 16 and quite comfortable with only Tottenham finishing runners up to Barcelona.

Europa League Logo.jpg

06 - Europa League - Groups.JPG

Both Brighton and Everton make it through the group stage but only Brighton make it straight through to the last 16 with Everton having to go through the first knockout round against a champions league club, they will have to pass..........

06 - Europa League Last 32 (2nd placed teams vs CL 3rd Placed).JPG

CELTIC, if they are to join Brighton in the last 16.

07 - Manager Movements 01 PL.JPG

07 - Manager Movements 02 Championship.JPG

There were a few manager moves during the first half of the season with 4 premier league managers being sacked. In the championship, only Bristol City were affected as Jemez returns to old club Bournemouth in the prem.

What does the 2nd half of the season hold. Will @Crayth finally call it time at Arsenal? Can Southampton, Watford and Bournemouth turn things around and survive? Will anyone be able to break up Man City and Liverpool dominating the league? Stay tuned to find out!!!

NEXT UPDATE WILL BE BUDGETS AND THE SAVE FILE

April Update-

01_-_PL_Table.jpg

So here we are, April already, and the prem is looking ermmmmm different! Norwich WOW! The media darings find themselves in the champions league places on the home straight, The top two still stay the top two but Spurs seems to be slowly closing a gap. United and Chelsea will not be happy with their seasons so far and managers could lose their jobs for this. West ham are playing above expectations and a mini revival on the cards for Arsenal. Brighton have recovered to find themselves back into the top half. As we move to the bottome Watford and Bournemouth look dead and buried for a plummet to the second tier. Then it looks like one of 3 to join them. Evertons season has been derailed and they probably need another win to be safe.
Over achieiving -

Arteta.jpg

Arteta has possibly been the manager of the save so far, he has consistently guided Norwich into the top half, it begs the question why did he lose his job at Arsenal so early??

Under Pressure?

Zidane.jpg

Surely after the start to this season it must spell the end for Zizou at Everton?

Everton fans.jpg

Goodison Park has turned toxic and now the fans have turned their frustrations towards the boardroom and namely their chairman. One fan has been quoted saying 'This is completely inept leadership from top to bottom. There needs to be a change upstairs and a complete change up, look at what the chairman has done at Norwich and Brighton on shoestring budgets. ABDUL OUT!!!'

01_-_Premier_League_Stats.jpg

Haaland.jpg

Haaland Continues to dominate the prem with his constant goals up top for united

Championship.jpg

02_-_Championship_Table.jpg

Championship table looks amazing with all chairman teams being in the top 6. Blackburn will feel hard done by for having 86 points after 41 games and not even in the top 2, even Cardiff will feel hard done by with an impressive 77 points! Play offs will be very interesting.

02_-_Championship_Stats.jpg

Parrot.jpg

Troy Parrott looks an excellent transfer for Leicester as he leads the scoring charts as he tries to fire them to promotion.

Caraboa cup.png

03_-_Carabao_Cup_SF.jpg

Semi finals saw Tottenham advance agaisnt the mosnters man city, A draw at the etihad was enough to put them through to Wembly for the final. Norwich swept aside Championship side Blackburn, A valiant cup run from Blackburn though.

03_-_Carabao_Cup_Final.jpg

Tottenham take the cup this season, Max Aarons scoring late on and celebrating infront of the Norwich fans kissing the spurs badge to give tottenham the cup.

End of season update

PL Logo.png

01 - PL Table.JPG

Well it was business as usual as Man City once against take the premier league title by 8 points after Liverpool falter towards the end. Tottenham have their best season finishing 3rd with Man Utd and Chelsea once against rounding off the top 5. Next two teams are the" @Crayth " twins as Norwich drop off towards the end and slip down from 3rd to 6th with Arsenal improving towards the end in 7th. West Ham have a pretty decent season finishing 8th. Everton chairman will be a little bit happier but still annoyed to see his Everton side finish 9th considering how many they looked going into the final quarter of the season down in 15th. Aston Villa round off the top 10.

Now down to the nitty gritty of the relegation battle. And out of the 4 teams that were likely to go down coming into the final quarter of the season, it is Southampton who have survived with a game to spare sending West Brom and Bournemouth down with an already relegated Watford to the Championship. It was confirmed in the penultimate game, in which they faced Bournemouth with 4 points separating the side. Southampton were able to come out on top 2-0 and confirm themselves in the premier league for another season. "Chuffed is an understatement!" said Southampton chairman @andy_14clark. "Considering we were languishing in last at the half way stage and selling out main striker Fabio Silva to Chelsea for £95m, Bjelica has done and amazing job turning things around and getting us to safety. Legend!".

New Burnley chairman @Dave The Microwave will be extremely disappointed as Burnley found themselves in 3rd, to finish the season down in 16th. Was sacking Sean Dyche a mistake? That was partly realised when less than 4 months into the job, newly appointed manager Neil Bath was sacked from the club. Another club who will be disappointed with be @Anderson883 and Brighton who finish 13th.
Is this the end now for Mourinho?

01 - PL Player Stats.JPG

Once again, Haaland dominates the goalscoring charts with 23 goals for the season. Big props to Calvert-Lewin of Fulham and Esposito (on loan from Liverpool) at Sheff Utd for scoring 20 and 19 goals respectively. Verschaeren tops the assist charts for this season followed by the surprising amount of assists for defensive players De Jong and Kante. What happened to Ronaldo, looks to have got no assists in the final half of the season which would be a disappointing way to end an amazing career. Maybe injuries got in the way? Was he just sick of @Abdul2604 at the end of it all? Who knows.

EFL Championship Banner.png

02 - Championship Table.JPG

Well unlike the premier league, there was a whole lot of drama to end the Championship. Going into the final game, Leicester led the league with 100 points, with Blackburn and Huddersfield 2nd and 3rd on 98. We had another top 2 clash for the title, following West Ham vs Cardiff a few seasons back, as Blackburn hosted Leicester to decide who would be champions:

02 - Championship Last Game (Blackburn jump 3rd to 1st).JPG

An own goal by January signing Raccagni helped Blackburn to clinch the title from the grasp of Leicester. But luckily for Leicester, Huddersfield could only draw with Preston sending Leicester up in 2nd. Huddersfield will surely be distraught after only picking up 2 points in their final 5 games. Not the form you want to see going into the playoffs. The remaining chairman clubs Cardiff, Crystal Palace and Bristol City rounded off the top 6.

02 - Playoff SF.JPG

Disappointing end for both chairman clubs with a chairman in the league as Cardiff and Palace lose out to Huddersfield and Bristol City.

02 - Playoff Final.JPG

And it is Huddersfield, who brush off the disappointment of missing out on the automatic promotion spots to clinch the playoff final in an entertaining game, coming out 3-2 winners over Bristol City.

NEXT UPDATE, CUP FINALS

CUP UPDATE

FA Cup Logo.jpg

03 - FA Cup Final.JPG

Well the FA Cup final ended up being an all @Crayth affair as Arsenal faced off against Norwich with the canaries coming out on top 3-1, following the disappointment of losing in the Carabao cup final, in a dominating performance to cap off another disappointing season for Arsenal? Is this the end of @Crayth at either of these clubs or will he continue to try and regain what Arsenal once had and to get Norwich into that top 5?

Champions League.jpg

04 - Champions League SF.JPG

Well it was Liverpool who came out on top in the clash against Man City in the quarter finals. But they were unable to get passed Real Madrid, who book their place in the final in an all spanish clashing against rivals Barcelona.

04 - Champions League Final.JPG

And Madrid retain their crown with a 2-1 win despite Barcelona having home turf in the final.

Europa League Logo.jpg

05 - Europa League QF.JPG

Well both chairman clubs, Everton and Brighton, did make it to the quarter finals but were not able to overcome stronger opposition in Valencia and Dortmund.

05 - Europa League Final..JPG

And in the end, it was Milan who take away the trophy, beating Valencia in the final 2-1.

New budgets for the season. Despite their promotion, there is an embargo placed on BLACKBURN! I am allowing teams to change clubs if they wish. You can resign and be randomly selected a club again or swap clubs if agreed between each chairman. But if you agree to swap, you can then not resign and be drawn a random team, this can only be done with your current club.

1591175989706.png

Zinedine Zidane has been sacked from his role as Everton manager! The Everton chairman has deemed it unacceptable that Zidane hasn't maintained a top 4 challenge despite the calibre of players that he has been given as well as that infamous and terrible sale that Zidane executed of Erling Haaland to Man Utd. The Everton chairman is sure Gary Neville shall be pleased at this announcement and can imagine Zidane's next job being at Burnley. Goodbye Zizou! You weren't good enough from the start!
