ZINEDINE ZIDANE IN TROUBLE
1589215644003.png

Everton Football Club has released a press statement stating that if Zinedine Zidane doesn't turn the club's form around and achieve at least a Europa League spot then they shall have no choice but to sack him just 1 year into the job. The Everton owner is rumored to be disgusted with Everton's league position following the phenomenal backing of the manager in the summer transfer window with the additions of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland. It has been leaked that the Everton chairman already have his replacement lined up! Can Zinedine Zidane & Everton turn this form around?

JOSE PEKERMAN IS SACKED AFTER 18 MONTHS IN CHARGE & ARSENAL APPOINT UNKOWN MAN JIMMY CLARK

Screenshot 2020-05-11 at 18.35.23.png

Robbie Lyle, owner of AFTV and Arsenal Football Club today announced that Jose Pekerman has been relieved of his duties despite a decent start to this years campaign. Lyle expressed concerns at some transfer dealings that we're made and decided the club needed to go in a different direction. The new manager has already been decided upon and will be announced shortly. Robbie Lyle and Arsenal FC wish Jose Pekerman the best in his future endeavours.

Jimmy Clark was today unveiled as the new Arsenal manager replacing Jose Pekerman. Robbie Lyle was delighted as he sat alongside the new manager who he said 'is the next Alex Ferguson.' The young Englishman hadn't yet had a job in the professional game but had won multiple leagues whilst getting his coaching badges with semi-pro teams. The Arsenal fans are stunned at the appointment but many are backing the new man to accomplish great things having researched his style of management.

GODFREY LEAVES NORWICH CITY FOR CHELSEA FOR £65M + MILITAO ON LOAN

1589229523110.png
1589229540888.png

Ben Godfrey today said goodbye to his team mates at Carrow Road as he joins Chelsea for £65M and Militao on loan until the end of the season. This gave Norwich a perfect replacement for the outgoing Godfrey whose been playing at right back for the majority of the campaign due an injury to Max Aarons. The £65M also now gives Mikel Arteta and Norwich, a huge warchest of £80M+ to improve other areas of their squad.

Arteta said "I am delighted to welcome Militao. He is an extremely talented defender and will provide a great replacement for the outgoing Ben Godfrey." Rumour has it that manager Arteta has wasted no time in searching for other signings to bolster their European challenge.

NORWICH ANNOUNCE SIGNING OF DIOGO JOTA FOR £35M

1589236953599.png

Mikel Arteta has wasted little time in spending the Ben Godfrey money, unveiling Portuguese star Diogo Jota as a new signing. He will offer competition for Pukki and Batshuayi up front.

Norwich still have around £45/50M to spend and are targeting another centre midfielder to bolster their European ambitions. Diogo Jota is delighted to finally make the move after a torrid time at Chelsea which led to no appearances in 18 months. Diogo Jota said "I didn't know I wasn't allowed to drive round Chelsea in a modified tank and I apologise to the peoples car I damaged."

Chelsea are still yet to comment on the situation but Mikel Arteta has said he's happy to put the whole thing behind him.

NGOLO KANTE BECOMES THE NEWEST CANARY

1589237544023.png

Ngolo Kante became the latest Chelsea player to switch London for Norwich as he arrived for £40M. He admitted that he was very impressed with the way that Norwich were going about their business and after signing Diogo Jota, Militao and Michy Batshuayi already from Chelsea, Kante was delighted to follow in their footsteps and attempt to propel Norwich City to European football.

Mikel Arteta beamed "Kante is a proven winner, he's won the Premier League twice, hes won the World Cup and he is a world class player without any doubt. He will add undoubted quality to our midfield and will complete our January business. He's moved in very close to me and said that if I ever need a lift to training, he will run round and give me a piggy back. Rumour has it, Michy Batshuayi has already took Kante up on his offer and the two will come in together to help save the earth. They are both HUGE Eco-Warriors!"

HIGH PROFILE SWAP DEAL NEGOTIATED BETWEEN EVERTON AND MAN CITY
1589238013132.png
1589238032143.png

It has been rumored that Man City and Everton have been in rigorous, continuous and frustrating negotiations over a high profile swap deal however with counter offer after counter offer being made, there seems to have been no breakthrough. With Everton presenting Man City with a very acceptable offer a few moments ago and Man City yet again rejecting it and not willing to budge, it seems that the Everton board have been left feeling frustrated at the stance of the Oil Rich Club. It is still unknown as to which players were being discussed however the Everton chairman has let it be known that he is still willing to do the deal if the Man City chairman agrees to terms either later on in the window or maybe in the summer. It has also being speculated that he is in negotiations with Arsenal. Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool over swapping the big money players and that Man City better act quick before it is too late.....

STEPHEN FRY - THE MAN WHO TOOK OVER NORWICH CITY

1589238896286.png

Stephen Fry has finally been announced as the man behind the mystery takeover of Norwich City at the beginning of 2019/2020 season. The consortium led by Norwich supporter Stephen Fry bought the club with the intention of slowly establishing it as one of the best sides in the country.

After a decent top half finish in the first season, they decided to invest heavily in the market and currently sit handsomly in 6th place. Stephen Fry came out to congratulate manager Mikel Arteta on the fantastic work he's been doing and to welcome the new signings to the club.

JADON SANCHO TRANSFER UPDATE
1589239337949.png

The Everton Chairman has come out and categorically denied any rumours that Jadon Sancho was on the brink of leaving the club after just 6 months. He expects Sancho to be a star player in the team and to help them have a very strong 2nd half of the season. He has however stated that the financial climate could be very different in 6 months times and if a certain oil rich club really wants him, then they know the reasonable deal that Everton are looking for. Sancho is said to be in awe of the chairman and his ambitions with Sancho's representatives stating that his near future is, at least for now, at Everton Football Club...

MAJOR DEADLINE DAY SWAP DEAL
1589287158044.png

Deadline Day Deal: Everton Football Club are pleased to present global merchandise superstar Jesse Lingard from Man Utd on a straight swap with Jean-Philippe Gbamin. Despite being a personal fan of Gbamin, the Everton Chairman had to let him go due to manager Zinedine Zidane not playing him. Jesse Lingard brings a lot of cover in all midfield and wide positions as he looks to resurrect his career at the ambitious club...

Following all the of the transfers completed by the Chairmen at the start of the window, there was hardly any activity with some clubs just shipping out a few players for small money. Only transfer of any real note was Adam Lallana being shipped off to Fiorentina for around £17.5m.

You're Fired.jpg

Well this took an interesting turn and the club in question are NEWCASTLE and BLACKBURN. After appointing Luis Enrique to be the new manager of the club, he lasted no longer than three weeks before being replaced by Michele Romano of Blackburn Rovers.

1ST APRIL 2020 UPDATE

PL Logo.png

01 - PL Table.JPG

01 - PL Stats.JPG

Well we are 3/4 of the way through the season, Liverpool and Man City are still fighting it out for the title as only 2 points separate them with Liverpool having a game in hand. However, the teams below them have started to catch up although have played more games with Man Utd only 5 points behind Liverpool but have played 2 games more.

The top 6 are back as you were as Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham find themselves 4th, 5th and 6th respectively. Norwich have tailed off slightly and now 8 points behind 6th in 8th. Watford (who I expected to go down) find themselves up in 7th and having an amazing season.

Now we more to the relegation fight. Things are still tight down there and we only have 1 chairman club sitting in the relegation zone which is Crystal Palace who have started to struggle due to lack of goalscoring. West Ham and Huddersfield occupy the other two spots. Fulham are not safe as they are only 4 points clear with Blackburn a further 3 ahead.

Things are getting close as we get towards the run in.

Well that is the season over and done with and we have our first chairman win the premier league and that is..................LIVERPOOL!!! They beat Man City to the title by 3 points as both teams extend their gap to the teams below. Tottenham secure 3rd with Chelsea finishing 4th and securing their places in the Champions League.Arsenal just miss out in 5th while Man Utd stumble down to 6th but have qualified for the Champions League (see below). Watford's amazing season sees them finish 7th and qualify for the Europa League.

Norwich and Arteta should be proud as they finish the season in 9th. Everton will be disappointed to have finished in 12th after early expectation.

Now to the nitty gritty at the bottom and we have lost a chairman team to the championship...........CRYSTAL PALACE. Gerrard came in but was not able to save the club and found themselves relegated with a game to spare. So the bottom three stayed as they were from 1st April.
