Sorry guys i have pulled out so Leicester and Watford now available. I didn't realise how transfers worked with u18 and don;t feel i can ever catch up the bigger clubs. Best of luck to you all!

Well we had Victor drop out so Leicester and Watford are now available. Norwich also become available as Crayth focuses on Arsenal more.

But 3 new managers have joined and have drawn, Man City, Huddersfield and Blackburn.

BATS SIGNS FOR NORWICH CITY

Michy Batshuayi has signed for Norwich City on a season long loan. Mikel Arteta said that he will add needed firepower to the side.

Arteta also went onto say "After evaluating his performance and consulting with Chelsea, there is always an option to make the move permanent. Michy is a fantastic player and due to Chelsea's riches has been unable to find a regular starting spot in the side. I'm hoping he can prove himself on a huge stage for us here at Carrow Road."

Norwich are also lining up other signings after whats been a very good first season in the Premier League.

MEMPHIS DEPAY SIGNS FOR ARSENAL FOR £4OM

Pekerman welcomed Memphis Depay in front of thousands of screaming Arsenal fans. After a torrid time at Manchester United in which he never really reached his true potential, Memphis left scarred. However, he went away abroad and rebuilt he reputation of being a wonderful explosive attacking player featuring consitently for a very talented Dutch national side.

Pekerman had this to say regarding the signing of Memphis. "We now have some absolutely world class attacking players, Memphis, Bailey, Pepe, Laca, Auba are all world, world class players that would cause any teams problems. Our capitulation at the end of the last campaign is unaccapetable and I'll definitely be making changes to the squad, little tweaks to make us ready to go the step further to glory."

Rumours are rife that Pekerman thinks his central midfield is to lightweight and needs an enforcer and rumours he is not a fan of either Sokratis or Luiz and will therefore be looking at getting rid of them to make way for fresh meat in the spine of his side. Only time will tell....

1589136122280.png

David Luiz and Mamadou Sakho have arrived from Arsenal and Crystal Palace, respectively. After being transfer listed and watching the arrival of Nathan Ake, Luiz decided it was time to leave and we are delighted he has joined us bringing a wealth of Premier League, International and Champions League experience with him to the heart of defence. Sakho joins from cash-strapped Crystal Palace for a fee of £10M. Another very talented defender who fits the profile of an 'Arteta' defender.

"I am delighted to welcome David and Mamadou to the club, they are world class defenders who can help propel us closer to where we want to be." said Arteta during a press conference.

1ST SEPTEMBER 2020 - SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW POST CHAIRMAN TRANSFERS

PL Transfers - Part 1.JPG

PL Transfers - Part 2.JPG

There were alot of transfer made this window but this was the big transfers from the premier league including manager transfers. Before some of the chairman were able to get there hands dirty, some big moves had already been made. Liverpool made some really big moves selling on Virgil Van Dijk to PSG for £105m and replacing him with Raphael Varane for £80m, whilst also improving their strikeforce signing Lautaro Martinez from Intter for £94m. Alvara makes his already pre-agreed move to Athletico Madrid for £47.5m whilst Arsenal also made a move to sign Memphis Depay for £40.5m.

There were also moves following all the work the chairmen had put in. The biggest being the sale of Leroy Sane from Man City to Barcelona for £74m which could increase to £104m. Arsenal did make some bold moves by selling their strike force of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Who has requested to leave) to Barcelona and PSG for £53 and £37.5m respectively but both could increase with add-ons.

There were some other big moves over £20m but I will let you see for yourselves.

There was a lot of activity going on in the championship with the 2 chairman teams relegated last year. Firstly the OUTS. Southampton had a major clearout in the summer shifting out 13 players for around £134m, the main ones after the chairman transfers being Mario Lemina for £20.5m, Viktor Fischer and Pierre-Emile Hojberg joining Wolves for a combined £40m, while Ryan Bertrand and Stuart Armstrong return to the Premier League with Brighton for a combined £28.5m were done before the chairman transfers. Aston Villa also made some additional moves post chairman transfers shipping out Mbwana Samatta to Celtic for £13.75m and Marvelous Nakamba to Tigres for £5m

Now for the INS, Aston Villa did not do much after the work of their chairman, only bringing in Eric Garcia from Man City on loan and signing a youngster in Stuart McKinstry from Leeds, whilst Southampton were the same, only signing Madou Barrow from Reading for £2.6m

1ST NOVEMBER 2020 UPDATE

01 - PL Table.JPG

So as we can see Liverpool and Man City have started to open up a gap already ahead of the rest of the field with Burnley being the surprise finding themselves in 5th and split the usual top 6 getting in ahead of Tottenham and Man Utd. As we look at the bottom, 2 chairman clubs find themselves in the relegation zone with Fulham and Sheffield United occupying the relegation spots with West Ham.

06 - Premier League Stats.JPG

As expected, we see Liverpool and Man City players at the top of the performance charts. Yari Verschaeren has started well at Burnley getting 5 assists and linking up well with Wood, same with new Manchester Utd signed Chiesa getting 4 and working well with Werner.

02 - Championship Table.JPG

At the top of the championship, the 3 relegated premier league teams occupy the top 4 spots with chairman clubs in 1st and 3rd. Villa have started well and are undefeated in 15 games.

Well we are at the quarter final stages of Carabao and we had a bit of a surprise in the last 16 with Rochdale defeating Chelsea on penalties. Norwich also claimed the scalp of reigning champions Man City.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

All chairman clubs are doing well and all currently top their groups.

EUROPA LEAGUE

The two chairman teams in the Europa League seem to be coping fine as they also top their groups. Shame for Brighton as they were beaten in the fourth qualifying round as they were given one of the hardest draws against Roma and were only beaten on penalties.

NEXT UPDATE WILL BE 1ST JANUARY 2021
