Haha, he's actually a descent striker in FM I just don't think he'll fit the role of a complete striker. Jóhannsson isn't great, but he fits the role quite well (attribute wise) and he's doing pretty good for me so far. 4 goals in 7 league matches and he just scored 4 times (within 15 minutes -_-) with 3 assists in a cup match I won 12-0, hehe.Haha are you suggesting Kazim Kazim Kazim Kazim Kazim Richards Kazim is not a good striker?But I think that is a nice suggestion, also really like him in real life.. how is he doing for you with this tactic?
Guzzla I'm done testing your tactic with Valencia. I won the League and the Cup. The thing is that i won the league UNDEFEATED !!! With Valencia , with no transfer at all (exept Biabiany who didn't play a single match due to medical condition for the half of the season ,and than gets injured for 5 months after).
So that is : Seria A Champions and Italian Cup champion with LAZIO ; Champion , CL , CUP with Bayern Munich ,and Champion UNDEFEATED with Valencia. NXT5 BY FAR THE BEST TACTIC ON 15.1.3 !!!

the think is almost tatics with corner bug are the best tatics in 15.1.3...thats the problem, but i need to say in the 15.1.4 nxt5 is the best for me, but think without corners its impossible achive that results.

I've posted a complete overview of NXT5 with Munchen(page 309) ,and watching the games ,was like watching for real Bayern , but before Guardiola , before tiki-taka **** happened to them. The direct football of Bayern was a joy ,so this tactic brought back that style ,and it was great experience !! If you want i will send you my save game ,and you will see what am i talking about

Premier league side Norwich, with Ricky van Wolfswinkel and lot good players. I just wasnt luckey. 4-3-3 DROP is amazing, PUSH using for home matches. I am League 1 team, middle squad in my league.

This tactic (NXT5) just keeps impressing me more and more. Next game up was away against PSV who are a much better side than my AZ team. On top of that, my key winger and my best midfielder got injured during training and their stand-ins are just barely Eredivisie worthy. (No transfers because I disable the first transfer window, and even if I hadn't AZ are relatively poor)

Yes, I have a pretty good keeper (Esteban) but my defense is playing so well within this tactic that he doesn't have to do all that much. This tactic is making me excited to watch my defense play!

And as i was ready to post my review for V13, here is the V14
Man i must really admit that you created a beast with V13 and i am really curious to see how managed to improve it!
By playing with my Panathinaikos team (you can consider it FM-wise as a medium team in the European cups) i have managed to have some impressive wins and most important of all playing some great football.
To be honest i love the fact that this tactic is not based on a set pieces cheat because irl of course set pieces are an important aspect of football but in FM i always wanted to create a team that plays football and generates goals and CCC's.
With your beast i managed to win the Greek Superleague, Greek Cup and be at the Quarter final of Euro Cup where i lost because of a red card in the 11th minute of the second round and although i had winned LOSC away. The most important aspect though it was that when my team was ready ( by ready i mean no injuries, since i still have small depth and i am now working on having more options for rotation) we dominated every game we played.

In the second game with Besiktas away i used a lot of back-up players since after the 7-2 win (!!!!) there was no way i can lose this round....

I apologize from all about the back to back posts but since i have managed to read all the posts in this thread (yeap 3K posts and still counting) i wanted to create a small guide on how you can make these tactics work for you (something requested a lot of times)
I may not be a tactic genius as other guys here (Guzzla, ChristianEriksen, Conn etc) but if i am good at something is making my team taking the most out of their creations. So let's start:
1. Taking Over A Team - Set Your Goals for the year.
First you need to understand the potential of your team and make comparison with the other teams in your league.
For example if you are taking over a team with media prediction to be 15th out of 18 teams then you need to understand that none of this tactics can make you Champion in just one year (although the guys in this thread can improve their tactics in a level that even this can be possible).
This is important because i saw posts with people managing low level teams (their goal was to avoid relegation) being in a position to challenge European qualification and stating that their team didn't go well! When your goals are clear then we can proceed to the tactic selection.
2. Tactic Selection
After your goals are set you need to decide on what tactic can make you achieve this goal. From this thread i would suggest:

3. Tactic Preparation – Pre Season
Now you are 50% ready. You know what the best for your team is and you want or better Demand to start playing as requested. This will not be done automatically though. You need to prepare your team for this. My suggestions:
o Make a pre-season of at least 5-6 weeks
o Arrange 6 friendly matches for your team. The matched should be scheduled as below:
o At the first 2-3 matched low level teams so as your team to gain confidence, learn how to attack and boost morale.
o 1-2 Matches with similar level teams in order to see how your team is performing.
o 1 Match with a bigger team because you need to see what you managed during this period and how ready you are.
o Training should be set as Team Cohesion to heavy and Tactics as match preparation. NO REST before or after match.
4. Transfers/Loans
If you have a budget for transfers or loans use it wisely. See what the tactic demands on each position and start upgrading your team where is weaker. So if your team requires a Complete Forward and you have none start searching for this guy. If your team is ok in all positions then see in which one is the lowest stars and search for a better option.
5. Training During Season
During season I would suggest:
Players should be trained on the position they will play. So train them based on their tactical role for your team. I wouldn’t suggest to train them in a specific attribute except a player is really weak in one and you need to make him better in this before train him for his role.
7. Team Talks
Your teams expects from you to be fair with them. So you cannot be a low level team playing against Barcelona and demand from them to win. You need to be very careful with this as it may damage your team morale and ruin all your chances to take something.
8. Build You Team
After all of the above your team will start performing. From you it is expected to upgrade the team month by month, year after year. You need to scout for players that fit your team and not for great players that you cannot use.
I hope that all of the above were helpful especially for the newcomers in this game.

- Balanced – Average (You can change it for some weeks to other options if your team needs it, e.g fitness or team cohesion if you buy a lot of players during January)
- If in the next game prediction is that you will win - Att. Movement

- In case you have a good scout for next opposition and suggests that the opponent is strong and or weak in other areas use his recommendation but only if the scout is good and you trust him
- Use the Rest option only after the game.
- The rest option before the game can be used during the end of the year if your team has a lot of games and players need to gain some fitness.

Nice post! Some good tips especially regarding the pre-season. I always let my assistant-manager take care of arranging the friendly matches.
One thing that is missing (in my opinion) is tweaking the tactic a little bit to suit the team you're managing. No crazy positional changes or anything like that. Example; My crosses weren't up to par. They were off-target or being blocked. I have two wingers who are both decent with their weaker leg, so I have them swap positions during the game which has improved my crosses and I'm now scoring from crosses on a regular basis.

Im thinking about doing a hertha BSC save and was thinking about which tactic i should use? the 3 striker or your V13?
Btw would you 100% recommend V14 over V13? since the attacking is improved on wingers

I find v13 better but then my wingers are better as inside forwards so I'd say it depends on who you have on the wings
