Barcelona has fallen ! (at least so far) I started a new save playing with Conqueror v2 with man marking.

Got my second season startet with Lincoln, so far, so good - first 3 matches won, scored 9 goals conceded 0 with V5

Just ignore this "duplication" because it doesn't make any actual impact on the searching result.



It was made on purpose in order to not limit your choice for MR position only to left footed players because good left footed players are rare and they cost some extra so not everyone can afford them so you also can use right footed players at MR position but don’t forget in this case to tweak their PIs as recommended at the OP.




"This problem" has been covered many times already in this thread so you can search for it.

For LM the filter has "or can play attacking midfielder right" but for rm it does not have "or can play attacking midfieder left"?

Thanks a lot for your tactics TFF, I've just got a couple of questions if that's okay. Do you place your predominantly left-footed player in the STCR slot and vice versa? I just noticed that in the formation screenshots Bale (left-footed) is playing in the STCR slot and Benzema (right-footed) in the STCL and the same for Suarez/Messi, is this just coincidence or intended? My other questions is whether you place your best striker on a particular side, as in do either the STCR or STCL get more chances?

he's always said it makes a slight improvement to put left footed on STCR and right footed on STCL but it's not major.

he's also said the chances are shared, he's never seen in testing one of the sides always coming out on top

i'll tell you one thing i have noticed though, but not sure if it's 100% accurate (only play on key highlights)

the STCR due to the man marking seems to initiate moves/play passes deeper than the STCL does a lot of the time when there's transitions after you win the ball back

guys I have one general question. I'm playing the premier league and of course there are a lot of matches to be played including the cups. So in some cup matches I have to start with players completely different than my regular 11 especially if the opponent is weaker.

So the next game there is a league game and of course I switch back to my regular 11, changing minimum 6-7 players. Do you think it damages the team? Is it better to not change at all and risk injuries? Or it does absolutely no evil and it's necessary to play weaker players even though you change more than half of the team? If your team participates in many competitions during the season and you want to win all these competitions then you must have 2 equally good starting elevens to achieve that and if you don't have 2 equally good starting elevens then you must choose what competitions to give priority and what competitions to sacrifice otherwise you are risking to fail in all competitions and here's why...

Every time when your player plays in match he gets his hidden attributes "Jadedness" increased and it can stack. The more matches the players plays in the season the higher "Jadedness" he has at the end of the season.

The major thing about "Jadedness" is that it responsible for how fast your players burn their "Conditions" during the match, for example, near the end of season before the match you see that all your players in the starting eleven have 95% Conditions and the opposition players also have 95% Conditions so you see it and thinks that the opposition doesn't have any advantage above you in that area but it might be wrong because all your players might have very high level of "Jadedness"(which you can't see because it's hidden) about 300-400 and the opposition players might have very low level of "Jadedness" about 50 so after 1st half the condition of your players will drop to 60% and they will be just walking on the pitch and the conditions of the opposition will drop only slight to 85% so they still will be fresh and smash your team in the 2nd half.

So as you can if you team has 22+ players that equally good and your opponents have only 11+ good players then at the end of the season you will be having advantages above your opponents because of it.

Hey TTF , just one question... why do u tell us to train our wingbacks , as complete wing back ? and our centre backs as Ball Playing Deff ? In the tactic they are Central Deff's , not Ball playing. And the backs are Full backs not Wing backs, also Wide Midf you told us to train them as IF or Winger ? Why ? For WM you need tackling as far as i know. And The Cm you told us to train as ADv Playmaker , can you explain why is all that , thanks for the amazing work

thanks for the post. so let's say I have a league game and I play with my regular 11. Next game I have a cup game that I do not care about so I change the 11 completely with my second 11. The third game is the league game so I switch back to my regular 11. Does changing the team too much have any bad effects?

They are many "Generic" roles in the game such as Central Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder, Wide Midfielder, Full Back and many other that have great customization available so by tweaking their PIs you can make them behave whatever you want and in order to do well in matches taking into considerations their set of PIs they needs some specific attributes.

For example, you can add "Dribble Less" PI or "Dribble More" PI to your Central Midfielder so depends on that "Dribbling" attribute will become important or not important for your Central Midfielder.

As you can see by adding different PIs/TIs you make some attributes to be important and some are not important for the different positions in your tactic so after all you instructions that you added to your team you need to look and find out how your instructions changes behavior of the position in your tactic and what attributes they need to do well taking into consideration their PIs and TIs.
