I've found that when you use "Instant Result" option then your assistant manager might tweak some roles/duties in your tactic if he thinks something else would be more appropriate and the less rating some player has for some role in your tactic the more chances that your assistant manager will change it when you use "Instant Result".

Here's some example. At the screenshot you might see that Vincenzo Grifo has a low rating for "Wide Midfielder" role and a high rating for "Wide Playmaker" role:

There's a huge issue in FM that your assistant manager wasn't coded to recognize any PIs/TIs tweaks that were made and all generic roles in your tactic such as Wide Midfielders/Central Midfielders/Attacking Midfielders/Full Backs and all these roles always have a very low rating "in eyes" of your assistant manager and any other "specialist" role always have higher rating for your assistant manager.

As you can see there are were many generic roles in SUNFIRE tactic and when you use "Instant Result" there's a big probability that your assistant manager will change roles for some positions but I found that if you set "Automatic" duty for some generic roles in the tactic then your assistant manger stops change their roles when you use “Instant Result”.

So I changed the duties for some important positions to "Automatic" and tweaked them to make as close as possible to what we have in the normal version of the tactic and to achieve that I had to change the TM from "Control” to "Attacking".

I'd say the instant result version of the tactic performs about 95% close to the normal version of the tactic.

i think people have the same expectations as previous fm's where ME was poor and exploitable, things have changed a tactic won't make you win everything anymore, now you need a good tactic and good squad management and a bit of luck sometimes. Also some people download this tactic go on instant results mode and come whining about bad results, well duhh..

Again I need to clarify some things:
1) If the tactic was that good, it was still called DEVASTATOR, not SUNFIRE...etc.
2) If SUPERNOVA, SUPER-HUBBA-BUBBA, TITAN-YABBA-DABBA-DOO...etc. were good it weren't at the 47th version.
3) If all this tactics were that good, there wouldn't have been so many people posting bad results.
4) IT'S NOT FAIR PLAY TO POST 324566 TACTICS ON THE SAME THREAD !!! IT'S UNFAIR FOR THE OTHERS CREATORS OF TACTICS ON THIS FORUM!

Lol... That tactics weren't bad, TFF have just alot of time to play with tactics and always find a away to improve. Supernova, Vortex are not here and are better than most of the tactics people post.

If people are having bad results with Supernova or Vortex, they just play the game bad... or are really unlucky.

Porto 2 seasons with Vortex, 1 defeat in portuguese competitions, 2 champions league... smashing teams at home.

Valência 2 seasons with Supernova 1 Champions league other lost on quarter finals vs bayern away goals, in spain only lost one cup vs Barcelona on the final.

I never buy the players with highest CA (any player i buy, i want to be able to sell him for at least 3 times the money i paid for him, i like to play that way)

there is no point instant result whole season..... in football manager.. at all...play it like a manager or leave it :D

If the game alows you to do it, if doesn't afect no one and you enjoy play that way... why shouldn't you do it?

admitting to yourself you are a bad fm player might be easier than making up all these (poor) excuses. and about fair, i think it's unfair to come in here talking **** every time when you 1: never contribute anything positive and 2: can't seem to figure out how to play this game. seriously everyone that knows how to manage a squad can get good results with sunfire.

True, i recently realized that. I used to play FM15, but wasnt a big fan of it, as it is easier than FM16. I like a challenge, which is why FM16 is soo much better. FM16 is much more of a challenge I've became a big fan of Football Manager and it's alot better coming up with tactic on your own, like a real manager, like you said. People should only use tactics to get an idea.

Meyer has been great so far, had him for 6 months and I've been able to improve him by 2 stars so far. But I'm thinking off selling him. Barcelona are interested in him, as well as Bayern. Should I sell him or not?

I dont know, but Pep Guardiola has said he would want to have Meyer in his squad. Meyer's value is at 47.5m atm. So i think he'll be paying around 35-60million. I think i can get Meyer to 5 stars or 4-1/2, as he has been showing great development recently.

i know its hard to get player who can be either footed but if u do sell him i can recomend on player, san henung min, he is a beast for sunfire. good luck pal
 
Shtazian...there have been a lot of versions of different tactics....of that there is no doubt. But I've not tried your one off perfect tactic yet...I'm keen to see it. This is of course a free speech forum and you are free to post your tactic.

apart from that I'm pleased to say that with sunfire v1 I am still undefeated at Bayern heading into the winter break..

tff I can't say enough..it's genius and from me and possibly a few others on this forum thank you!
