March Update

Arsenal 0 - 1 Manchester City
'Wright-Phillips'
"The best moment in our season so far, beating Arsenal at the Emirates and beating them 1 - 0, keeping a clean sheet and beating top of the league. A superb Victory, big thumbs up to Shay Given, who was literally outstanding in this game."

Manchester City 3 - 1 Fulham
'Adebayor x2, Modric'
"Another good victory, again Modric getting on the score-sheet and the red hot striker Adebayor gets two. With the goals flying in like this, we can really challenge for fourth spot!"

Burnley 1 - 2 Manchester City
'Tevez , Lescott'
"Tevez scored but Burnley equalised and the solid rock at centre back Joleon Lescott nodded in, in the second half which would turn out to be the winning goal for Manchester City, 9 points out of 9."

Hull 1
- 3 Manchester City

'Adebayor x2 , Modric'
"A simply amazing month for us, and the squad. Winning four out of four, picking up 12 out of 12 points and scoring nine goals and conceding three. Catching up with liverpool, on the same points now!"

League Position: 5th
Manager Of The Month: Dion Dublin (1st)
Young Player Of The Month: Micah Richards (2nd)

STAR PLAYER;
Emmanuel Adebayor!

great story mate, havent been posting but have been following and if its not already too late, I'd go for Marco Verratti, starts game at Pescara, hes 16 at start of game, and by age of 19 he can win young player of the year and he can do fairly well already anyway :)

I'm on level points with Liverpool and Same Goal Difference, going into the last 6 games, I think I need like 13 points to secure it, only dropping 5? What you think?

i think you'll be able to do it, if you do it on your 1st season it is a very good achievment :)

Yeah, no question you can do it. Just need a bit of luck. Btw, what tactics are you using?

April Update

Manchester City 0 - 1 Bolton
'N/A'
"Shocked at this result, I thought we really had this one in the bag with the amazing run we are in. Hopefully we do not let everything fall now, we need to not faulter and win the rest of our games to make sure we overtake Liverpool and get Champions League football!"

Manchester City 5 - 2 Sunderland
'Soldado, Killgallon O.G. Ireland, Wright-Phillips, Tevez'
"A barmy result, with loads of wacky twists and turns but none of that matter as long as we get the three points we needed and now we only need ten from the possible 12 points as I predicted."

Stoke 0 - 3 Manchester City
'Touré x2, Adebayor'
"Inspirational from the centre back making sure we put away a fighting Stoke City side, Adebayor also hit the back of the net and now we need to keep this form going, we've got a run going, we need to continue it."

Manchester City 1 - 0 Everton
'Tevez'
"One word - Phew. By the skin of our teeth we scraped through this, Tevez was lucky to get the goal in the 50th Minute and there was plenty of chances for each team but only Tevez decided to take one! 9 points out of a possible 12, now we need to win the next two games."

Player Of The Month; Shaun Wright-Phillips (1st)
Young Player Of The Month; Micah Richards (2nd)
Manager Of The Month; Dion Dublin (3rd)

May Update

Manchester City 5 - 1 Aston Villa
'Tevez, Soldado x3, Lescott'
"This is surely enough to get us into the Champions League next season, the heat is off for the match at Tottenham. That doesn't matter!"

Tottenham 4 - 1 Manchester City
'Wright-Phillips'
"Inspirational from the centre back making sure we put away a fighting Stoke City side, Adebayor also hit the back of the net and now we need to keep this form going, we've got a run going, we need to continue it."

End Of Season Summary!

League Position; 4th.
League Cup; Qtr Finals.
FA Cup; Fourth Round.

Being completely honest, I am delighted with fourth spot, after messing up abit at the start of the season, I think it's good that I managed to pull it back and get into the Champions League. With such a superstar squad, I think we can push for the League Title next year.

Players' Player Of The Year: Emmanuel Adebayor
2nd Players' Player Of The Year: Carlos Tevez
2nd Young Player Of The Year: Micah Richards

Breaking News!
Dion Dublin has just signed a two-year-contract worth £190,000 a week with Manchester City after being offered it early in the day. He was delighted to sign it and the fans and players were also happy as they think Dion Dublin is the man to take them forward into Premier League glory this season hopefully.

New Job!
C.D Numancia

NUMANCIA_logo.jpg

You might wonder why I took this job, it's because I was getting bored with City and you were right it is easy, I had 94m to spend, Splashed most of it out on De Rossi, but fast-forward to January 9th.

"I am very happy to have taken this job, I think it will offer a new challenge and I should be able to excell and keep them up this year and who knows, maybe next year, get some success but my main objective this year is too stay in this division. Thankyou for you're time. Dion Dublin."

Just started with Man City and agree that although there is endless pits of money its all about how you spend it. I didnt think the team needed massive changes to be honest so have concentrated on youth by signing Lakaku, Sanogo, Muniesa, Wilson, Traore, Rits.

Wanted to strengthen defensively so signed Mexes for £22.5m, felt I needed an Att LM so signed Di Maria for £9m, added Moussa Sissoko in DM for £14m and finally a back up GK Julian Speroni for £3.2m.

I have now promised myself that I won't sign anymore players unless I sell first as the squad has excellent quality in all positions.

I play 4-2-3-1 (with the two playing DM) works quite well. So far 6 games in have won 4, drawn 2 conceding just 1 goal vs Chelsea away in a 1-1 draw. Through to the 4th round of cup where I will play Man Utd.
