Anyone interested in uwe rosler as manager? I don't want any payment for him just don't want to have to pay the compensation to get rid of him so I can get a manager that plays possession football.
Man city Season review to come soon

Does he play 4-2-3-1 with wingers?

All Norwich City players up for sale, if anyone's keen on taking van Basten as manager I'd be willing to agree compensation too

Yeah, anyone keen on the young Italian Andrea Stramaccioni, please take him, dont want any comp for him, just want him away!!

Season 1 good relations

My best relations as villa chairman was the Norwich chairman, MadRo. He was always suggesting deals for us. I don't really want to mention who has been a bad relations with me but there is mainly one chairman who had a bad relation and he knows who he is

Reflection is a wonderful thing

Today at The Hawthorns FM-Base caught up with the cheery smiley Scot, Angus Guthrie, current owner and Chairman of West Bromich Albion. It was a chance meeting as we were looking for Andrea Stramaccioni or some players, he beckoned us to his office high up in the gods and offered us a chat.

FM: "So after your first season in the EPL how do you think things have gone?"

AG: "To be honest, i am little disappointed. I thought we would compete more and win more games but we seemed to be poor for most of the season."

FM: "You still seem a very chirpy happy man though, is there something in the water here?"

AG: "No, well i hope not (laughs). I just think that there is no point getting down in the dumps, at the end of the day we are still in the EPL and we need to work hard over the summer to get better and put better practices in place."

FM: "I suppose that's a fair way to look at it. The teams performances over the season have left a lot to be desired and some fans have come out against the team at games, do you think that affected them?"

AG: "It has to affect them. What professional do you know that if you tell them they aren't doing there job right, they aren't going to react? I would expect the players to be the same. Althought, saying that, I would urge the fans to back the team, i know it is difficult sometimes but at the end of the day, they all support West Brom don't they?"

FM: "Very small portions of the fan base have called for Stramaccioni's head, is this a possibility?"

AG: "No. Myself and Andrea have sat down and spoke at length and he is just as upset with the season as the fans are. It's true, the guy that walked into my office a year ago, is not the same guy i met with last week. There is a lot to be done, granted, but i think the foundations are in place for this team to grow."

FM: "Do you have any idea of new players or anything yet?"

AG: "Myself and the manager have mentioned a few names but nothing solid yet, we shall see what happens in the next week or so."

FM: "Other than the football side of things, have you enjoyed your first year as Chairman ?"

AG: "Oh yes, without a doubt. It has been great. Met some truly great people. When you are Scottish and work in Engineering, you always meet guys called Willie and Jim, its a guarantee, so to be able to go and spend time with guys like Bergkamp and Schwarzenegger, that is truly something else."

FM: "Are any of the other Chairman harder to get on with?"

AG: "No i wouldn't say so, but the Hull Chairman is complete ****, i mean have you met him?? Jeez, give me strength, its like pulling teeth trying to talk to him. Oh and the Villa Chairman Lewie, he seems a little eccentric to say the least."

FM: "(laughs) Well thanks very much for the interview, certainly a nice surprise for the Base readers. Thanks again for your time Mr Guthrie.

AG: "No problem at all, it was my pleasure, and please call me Angus.

He was a delight to spend time with and i can see why people warm to him straight away. Very down to earth, easy to talk to and he absolutely loves his football. I hope for the sake of this league he is involved for years to come, although i am not sure the Hull chairman will agree. ;)

At least make it believable! ;)

If people are prolonging their internal loan deals, maybe they should say it to Disclaimer (just to take a bit of the work-burden off his shoulders)...
