Bad first season for Shearer​

Now, with the first season of a lot of chairmans in the Premier league over, almost all the teams can make a summary and see what they've done right or wrong.
One of these clubs will be Newcastle United, a club that had high expectations and they were aiming to end in 8th place but things took another turn and finally "The Magpies" ended up sacking former manager Alan Pardew, hiring Harry Redknapp and being one of the dirtiest team this season.

Yesterday we finally got to talk with Mr. Shearer, who was in a rush. He apologized to all the fans and said to them that everyone in the club was expecting to do better now. When asked about the transfer market, he said that everyone was available at the right price. Then he left after apologizing once again. ​
 
in a strange turn of events today at the Britannia stadium Stoke Citys chairman Stewart Meakin has sold the club that was his dream to own. Stewart has brought yet another premiership team in the form of newly promoted Nottingham Forest and has vowed not to get relegated. thank you all for listening

The finances have been updated, loaned players have been returned to their parent clubs.



I have a few updates...

1. From now onwards, to avoid administration problems, if you are in minus figures you will NOT be able to buy any players. You will need to sell before you can buy. This goes for Manager changes also.

2. Please dont spam 'all players available' in huge font size and bright colours, there is no need for that. Put up a proper transfer list layout.

3. This season I expect(I know expect sounds like a strong word) chairmen to put more effort into doing press conferences. Last season for some of the updates only 1 chairman did a press update which isn't too good for an interactive thread considering there is 19 active chairmen.



I will once again provide a template for chairmen to fill out and use when you guys PM me about transfer deals; if it is not used I will not consider the transfer. The template will allow me to easily copy and paste the transfer details into my excel project and will save me time from having to calculate every players new wage and their transfer price, which when I get 50 transfer messages, it can take a while :)

Within the template is the transfer type, the name of the player, current team he plays for, new value of the player and his new wage he will be on. I will also provide the simple program I wrote to help you guys calculate new transfer values and new wages of players. Use this to help you.


Transfer/Wage calculator
This program requires users to select a few options in regards to their transfer target, such as DOM or FGN, u18, 19-32 or 33+ and international caps, along with typing in the current wage and market value of the player. The program will then take all the chairman game rules into consideration and calculate the new wage and transfer price. After that all you need to do is put the details into the template and send them to me.
This should speed things up for all chairmen and myself

What if we already agreed transfers before and you have a negative balance?

Well then clearly you can't do any transfers! Only disclaimer can agree\confirm them.

I have to agree with Disclaimer, the Chairman comments/interviews have to be better.

Most guys put effort in (bornes short stories come to mind ;) haha) but some just post a couple of sentences.

Its easy to write a couple of paragraphs, Disclaimer puts tonnes of work into this, i think as a whole we could all make the thread look and read better, its just a thought. i will be first to admit that i maybe didnt do enough press releases but at least there was some effort in mine.

Sorry if it offends anyone, but i just want the thread to look and read like a real story/drama lol

Well done to Disclaimer for a great season, heres to season two!!

Then those transfers will be cancelled as you simply dont have the funds to cover the deal. You will need to start selling first.

In all fairness you shouldn't have been agreeing deals before I opened the window or even updated the finances... so basically you agreed a deal before you knew if you even had money? haha Not off to a good start with your new club Lewie eh ;)

West Ham confirm new manager
Earlier today west ham announced a deal ending big sams time at the club ,but it isnt all bad as the ex everton boss roberto martinez steps forward to replace big sam and take west ham forward.

west ham also confirmed that in the coming hours they will bring in over 3-4 players

Sean Murray leaves to make money for more transfers


​Sean Murray is one of the 1st, and will not be the last departure of Watford. Due to the FA's new rule, no club is allowed to buy anyone with a negative balance, and Watford now have got a -7m balance. Of course, Murray will be sorely missed by everyone in Watford, but we needed a few peopl to leave in the end. Lewie has said "Obviously, Murray will be sorely mssed but this money will go to our balance which then allows us to buy relplacments.
 
Again, sorry about the questions but are p/ex with no cash allowed?

I know but as you said, you are still -7 million... until you break even, you cant buy.
You can do direct player exchanges though, if the players are on similar wages.

I think inward transfer embargos should be placed on anyone with a minus balance.
