Haha congrats Spurs!

For this award I am going to allow every chairman to be in with a chance, so I wont be nominating 3 players you can vote for, for example.

At the start of the season Dennis Bergkamp along with some former teammates, took over the Welsh club, Swansea City from previous owner Huw Jenkins. Now at the end of the season Swansea sit in 7th place in the BPL only 7 points of European football. In his press conference, Bergkamp had this to say;

"We have had a great season, I gave the managers a target of a top half finish and they have excelled this, we have finished above and beyond expectations. We were only 7 places off Europe and I firmly believe that we can get that next season. Me and Frank need to sit down and have a chat about new signings and what we want next season, we have made some profits this season so have a little bit of money to play with aswell as any profits from player sales. There will be both ins and outs im sure."

What now for the relegated chairmen? Please say we can take over a championship team?

Craig Bellamy knows how to celebrate after a tough season.

SkySports Reporter: Some excellent performances this season. Who has been your stand out player?

Njmclare: Jordan Rhodes finished top goalscorer on 19, one goal in front of his team mate Jermaine Defoe on 18. Unfortunately Rhodes only signed on a season long loan so has therefore played his final game for the Bluebirds and will return to Blackburn Rovers at the end of the season. Fans of watching Rhodes goals on MOTD won?t have to wait long, as Blackburn rovers secured promotion to the premier league. I was also really impressed with Byram, another player we signed from the championship, who we may be looking into selling over the coming months to free up some cash.

SkySports Reporter: Its got to be sad to see Jordan Rhodes leaving the club after finishing top goalscorer in the league.

Njmclare: Yes its certainly annoying, we signed him on loan as we weren?t sure how he would cope with life in the Premier League. We certainly made a mistake there, however we were being careful with our money so not to go into administration and potentially end up getting relegated. Now his price has doubled, it is impossible for us to sign him. However I am delighted Blackburn will playing premier league football next season so that jordan will remain in the premier league.

SkySports reporter: Have you any plans for signings next season?

njmclare: we have a transfer list of players that we are interested in, however we are mainly looking at free transfers and loan signings due to our limited resources. We will be contacting the chairmen of other clubs to see if any deals can be done. We have shown with our loan players this season, Rhodes, Belhanda and Zaha, that they get decent amount of game time and that they are progressing, so that when they go back to their parent club they leave better players.

SkySports Reporters: What is your current financial situation? Are you in a position to sign players.

Njmclare: we have made a small profit over the season of?2.7m there or thereabouts, however it is difficult with limited revenue streams. As an example, we made ?500k sponsorship this season, in comparisons to Man Utd?s ?126m sponsorship money. Which is 50% higher than our total turnover for the season. We also only made ?2.2m on gate receipts for the entire season, however Man Utd?s game against Chelsea generated ?2.8m for a single match. To balance the books, our wages our considerably lower and we therefore have to consider every player we sign or loan wisely to ensure we do not end up in debt.

SkySports Reporter: Thank you for your time. Go and join Bellamy before he finishes that bottle of brut.

Schwarzenegger very happy with First season!

"I am very happy with the team performance this season! I'll admit I was hoping to take the title but we'll be back next year, better than ever with a few signings and some good luck I think we can do it!"

"I will be splashing the cash on a few players this year! There are a couple of players in mind but I will be having words with Arsene before committing to anything!"

"Oh..and best of all....we got 69 points ;)"

Tottenham Board Delighted With Season

Sheringsham's Danish Duo Brings Champions League to White Hart Lane.

View attachment 398979The new Tottenham chairman, Teddy Sheringham took over the club in December, and has been joyed with the first half year as leader of Spurs. There was not much transfer-activity in the winter-window, though Spurs sold Sandro to Southampton for 30 mililon and attached the two youngsters Thiago Casasola & Tonny Vilhena.
Short after the takeover, temporary manager Tim Sherwood was released and former Danish national manager, Morten Olsen was brought in to replace him.

The Tottenham board was said to be patience with the results at White Hart Lane. However, the new manager surpassed the expectations by qualifying in a hectic last round to the prestigious Champions League.
Two Danes has been pointed to as key figures in the qualification, Tottenham Player of the Year Christian Eriksen and his mentor Morten Olsen.

Tottenham was crowned Capitol One Cup winners in March, and thereby bringing in the first trophy for Spurs in 6 years. Sheringham said that even though the cup was not a big priority, it is a good indication that Spurs are ready to battle for trophys again.

Another indication is that Tottenham as the only English team, succeeded on going to final in a European tournament, the Euro League. Unfortunately, Spurs ended as runner-up in a very close match that were lost in extra time.

New Stadium Plans Announced.

The Spurs board announced that upon a great season, a new stadium would be build. In the summer of 2016, Spurs will move in to New White Hart Lane that has seats for 56.250 spectators. The board said that this is a necessary investment towards the new future for Tottenham. The building project is said to be very costly, and has challenged the otherwise good economy at the club.

Teddy Sheringham has also made small investments in Spurs youth recruitment, and has said that these investments will continue, when the economy is geared for it again.

Because of the new financial challenges is players is available for the right price. But especially Aaron Lennon and Adebayor is rumored to be leaving the club.

One of the big questions in the summer was who will perform better out of the transfer of Oscar to Arsenal and Wilshere to Chelsea?

Personally Oscar just edges it for me. Dirty wilshere also committed 73 fouls and got 9 yellow cards, where as the little brazilian didn't get booked.

Guys, stuck in work! Expect the update around 11. I'm sure you guys can hold out ;)
