Team: West Brom

Chairman: Bornexplorer88

Manager Verdelli 1 day

Fm Media Prediction: 13th

West Brom have slowly and steadily improved every year finishing 16th in the first chairman season and coming a respectable finish of 12th few would expect them to be in a relegation scrap after all fm doesn’t…

However unfortunately I do mainly because of one reason age. West Brom’s squad is old, really old average age of 28 every good player west brom has is over the age of 32 with the exception of the clever loan signing of Tielemans I fully expect west brom to be plagued with injuries and be in a relegation dog scrap. 35 year old petr cech starts in goal 35 year old right back srna starts with 32 year old Martin Skrtel 32 year old Fernandinho will probably be paired with the brilliant Kimmich (22) in fairness unless of course he leaves before then due to being unhappy. 32 year old lavezzi will no doubt be paired with 32 year old Carzola with a 31 year old Bafetimbi Gomis leading the charge with James Wilson pushing for competition.

Bornexplorer has taken Alan hansen’s words of you’ll never with anything with kids to heart and has built/inherited a decent but no doubt balding team :p

Team: Crystal Palace

Fm Media Prediction: 12th

Chairman: Disclaimer

Manager: Alan Pardrew

With Internet Problems, Disclaimer has retired from his post as fifa president ;) to focus purely on his duties as chairman owner. Pardrew remains in charge keeping them afloat in the premier league with satisfactory results. With no transfers whatsoever and the lowest wage bill in the league expect to see some business in January.

Crystal Palace have a small and tall balanced squad with some their key players including Rulli, ward Kennedy and Mcarthur expect to see another mid-table finish and hopefully some businesss in January to comment on!

Team: Watford

Fm Media Prediction: 11th

Chairman: CoolmCool

Manager: Prandelli

After getting promoted the year before Watford surprised many by achieving a top half finish partly due to the likes of former/current man city players Dzeko and Nasri. This year Watford smartly realised that an improving the defence was a priority in comes a new goalkeeper Ochoa and Two fullbacks from Arsenal in Bellerin and Gaya.

Watford have a strong well balanced team their success will no doubt be relied upon getting goals from Edin Dzeko and golden boot winner Troy Deeney to help them build upon their success however having made smart moves in the window the loss of nasri and their lack of squad epth shouldn’t hurt them too badly although a top half finish might be beyond them this season.

Team: Southampton

Fm Prediction: 10th

Manager: Steve Bruce

Chairman: Wonderkid360

Wonderkid360 inherits playoff winners Southampton to manage, A large squad with a lot of deadwood that really needs to be shifted back into the championship. Koscielny has been brought in to pair with now current team mate Debuchy at back with Ruddy and Foster providing solid cover at the back. Wonderkid has put most off his eggs in one basket on Youngster forward Zivkovic fast composed and can finish and with a big fee off 17m the pressure will be on Zivkovic to put the ball in the back of net repeatedly with Huntelaar and Jay rodriguez as the alternatives. On paper it would appear that wonderkid360 has bought well however with very few good passers in the side and a large squad to handle with 8 new signings to integrate I think a top ten finish is extremely unlikely expect a relegation battle. A lot will depend on their start with a kind run of games Southampton need to start with a bang to help them achieve a mid-table finish.

Team: West Ham

Fm Prediction: 9th

Manager: Roberto Martinez

Chairman: Footy1

After a fantastic 6th place finish and closely missing out on the prestigious chairman of the year award West Ham will surely have some more followers this year. However being in the Euro league may end up being more of a curse than a blessing with the extra run of games however 10 new signings have arrived at the Olympic stadium to accommodate for this. With the most exciting being Charles Aranguiz bought from Internacional an advanced playmaker who played superbly last season and with a low wage of 14.5k could be a contender for signing of the season.

Danny Welbeck will no doubt lead the line with marco Asensio in the no.10 role. West ham look a little fragile at the back and have a slow team the 2nd slowest in the league in fact so while I think a top 6 finish is unlikely a top ten is certainly on the cards provided key players perform and stay fit.

Southampton Transfers
Jeremy Corbyn has announced that "God" has given him over £63million to guide his "angels" to victory. Coming in are the following players for the Saints:
Saint Alvaro Vadillo - Real Madrid - £4.1m - Winger
While Alvaro has struggled recently after a big money move to Real Madrid from Real Betis, being placed on the transfer list, he has come to Southampton for a chance for redemption.
Saint Guilherme
Siqueira - Atletico Madrid - £8.8m - Left back
Signed to fill the weak left back position, Saint Guilherme will provide valuable experience to a young side.
Saint John Ruddy - Norwich - £5m - Goalkeeper
Coming in too provide competition for Fraser Forster, Saint John is probably good enough to take it over for his own.
Saint Sadio Mane - Leicester - Free - Winger
Coming back to his old club for free, Saint Sadio is a signing made by manager Bruce.
Saint Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - Unattached - Free - Striker
Another experienced head, Saint Klaas is a proven goalscorer and his wages are a pittance for a player of his ability.
Saints Richairo Zivkovic & Laurent Koscielny - Arsenal - £23m
Arriving on a double deal, Saints Richairo has impressed on recent loan spells, and Saint Koscielny is by far our best defender.

Team: Q.P.R

Manager: Jose mourinho

Fm Prediction: 8th

Chairman: crchamp

Last years winner of the Chairman of the year is in a similar position of west ham having to cope with the Europa league for the first time this year. Jose mourinho is certainly a coup signing and will be interested to see him put his spin on the qpr side. The qpr team is unbalanced and has certain short comings in various areas making it even more impressive that they came 6th last year.

Despite only having two centre backs none are added instead a new wing back is added (who in fairness looks like a great signing Alex telles from galatasaray) despite the two left backs currently at the club. And with only tim krul in goal expect to see problems at the back. Further up the pitch is where the quality starts to show and is ridiculously exciting. Mourinho will surely be looking to get the best out of now right midfielder Gabriel Barbosa who will surely have a promising career alongside ross barkley and Fernando and despite the lack of wingers qpr have brought in two more strikers with Stevan Jovetic aswell as crucially keeping hold of Paulo Dybala (on loan last season) which is a steal at 15m.

Q.P.R clearly have a very attacking mentality, while a poor defence and a lack of wingers could be a concern however putting aside his brilliant record makes the appointment of mourinho even more genius given his preferred 5-3-2 formation. While a champions League spot will surely be beyond q.p.r don’t rule out another top 7 finish assuming that they can add another centre back.

Team: Newcastle

Manager: Sakvisa Jokanovic

Chairman Lewie100

Fm prediction: 7th

Newcastle will probably be secretly pleased after just missing out on the Europa league places allowing to give a bigger focus in the glory of what is the premier league. Newcastle have a solid team with Jefferson in goal Janmaat and anita on the flanks and Vertonghen and new signing eder balanta providing a solid defence for Newcastle.

Navas and Konoplyanka provide pace outwide and if utilised correctly cabella could make an excellent addition.

Newcastle’s biggest problem is going to be goals this year with perez being shipped off to Tottenham, all the pressure will be on Haris Seferovic who only socred 8 last season in all competitions it makes it even more surprising another striker was not brought in given Jokanovic preffered formation of 4-4-2. While the additions of ibe horn and dembele all add depth and quality the lack of goal scoring threat and one striker will hurt them badly. Another striker must be brought in for any chance of maintaining a top 7 finish.

brilliant preview, just to clear a few things up for the QPR universe, we do have two GK's dont worry, jack Butland is still with us and weve added benjamin stambouli on a loan deal with an option to buy, (also jose has 8m to play with) top 4 maybe unrealistic but last season we were only a few goal difference off. loving these updates though keep em coming :)

Team: Liverpool

Manager: lucas Neil

Chairman: Lippo255

Fm prediction: 6th

Liverpool have a had a horrid time in the chairman game going through multiple owners and a 15th finish back in 2014 they will want to put that behind them this season. The first thing to comment on is the manager Lucas Neil has been appointed clearly only due to his nationality e is by far the worst manager in the premier league has no reputation and doesn’t even have a continental pro licence expect him to walking alone by christmas at the latest.

Liverpool have one of the smaller squads in the league with only 22 players so any injuries/suspensions will hurt them more then most. As for transfers as always with Liverpool it seems to be very hit and miss. Guido Vadala looks like a great signing and could easily be the new coutinho and while seamus coleman may have to win over the fans he and bony have potential to do very well. However bringing in adam Johnson, matthew ryan and a retiring Daniel alves makes you wonder what on earth they are smoking at anfield (LFC joke). Losing Lucas will have an impact and while bender and Moreno provide some hope expect a mid-table finish for the reds this season.

Team: Tottenham
Chairman: matt419
Fm media prediction: 5th
Manager: Pochettino

After falling down the pecking order last season to teams such as qpr and west ham spurs will probably be aiming to get back into the failure of what is 5th place (no c.l). Spurs have a very quick and balanced squad with depay and lamela sure to excite neutral fans with their pace on the flanks.

Perez is brought in provide competition for kane upfront and after watching breaking bad matt decided he had better call saul xD from atheltico Madrid who has all the makings to be a great player for them.

5th place seems on the cards providing depay can stay fit and while they just don’t have the same quality of the top 4 teams with another good season of recruitment they could soon break through.

Team: man city

Chairman: me!

Fm media prediction: 4th

Manager: Josep Guardiola

After missing out in all competitions another summer spree beckoned for man city. And whilst trying to avoid being bias man city have the most balanced squad in the league. A high work rate team and with good cover for every position man city will surely be able to cope with any injuries or suspensions.

Otamendi comes in to replace Balanta, Leiva is brought in to complement Fernando and Icardi for bony. Whilst an city squad is balanced had has good cover I cant help but feel this has come at the expense of world class players needed to win. Yaya toure is released and replaced with Kovacic poor for Chelsea but is a quality player it remains to be seen whether he can cut it at city.

Hart falls short of other goalkeepers in the top 4 but we having the best defence in the league should compensate.
Despite the depth City’s hopes will no doubt be dependent on Sergio aguero for them to become champions.

Team: Chelsea
Chairman: AW190
Fm media prediction: 3rd
Manager: Carlo Ancelotti

After finishing a disappointing 4th last season in true abramovich style AW190 fired his manager and spent a bucket load of money. Spending over 100m and breaking through the 200m wage bill mark clearly expectations are high at Stamford bridge, chelsea’s squad though is a weird one.

Despite brilliant players in the side courtois, kroos matic oscar and the jaw dropping hazard who on their own cold beat several teams in the division chelsea are vulnerable especially in comparison of the other top 4.

No back up goalkeeper isn’t the biggest issue in the world but it’s a risky strategy with the next back in the under 21’s with a current ability of only 106 chelsea fans will be desperate for cortuois to keep fit. Only 6 defenders is also a concern despite their quality I question whether spending 35m and 325k week on a right back to replace Azpillicueta it’s the best use of resources. While a line up of Fabregas, kroos and matic will make teams weep upfront isn’t so scary. 29 year old Diego costa leads the charge despite an iffy season 25 apps 7 goals avg rating of 6.9 with lucas pratto and what has gotta be the weirdest signing ever Andy Caroll! I assume for home grown quotas but still.

Despite this Chelsea will obv be there or there abouts at the end of the season I just don’t expect them to be winners of the p.l

So our midfield that scares teams doesn't even include Kroos... #Logic

Team: Arsenal

Chairman: Znik

Fm media prediction: 2nd

Manager: Vinzenzo montella

Long are the days when arsenal fans moan over wenger for not spending any money because now they have freaking lionel messi creating the best starting line up the world has ever seen.

I mean Ter Stegen, Alaba marquinhos, sule, sakho, Martinez, ramsey, coutinho, sanchez, ozil, sterling and messi is a line up that is so ridiculously brilliant I think most teams will just forfeit on the spot.

The strongest and one of the smallest teams in the league arsenal side reeks of messi current champions of Europe and despite not having quite as strong depth as say man city I cant envisage any other winners at the end of the season other than arsenal.

Team: man utd

Chairman: stonecold

Fm media prediction 1st

Manager diego someone

Another brilliant team, mata, varane hummels muller for starters after winning the prem last year they will no doubt be setting their sights on doing it again. Again the squad depth isn’t quite as strong as city’s but a very well balanced team and one of the younger teams with an average age of 24 United will no doubt be pressing arsenal very close to the title.

Cheers for those of you who read/liked the pre-season analysis hoped you enjoyed i'll have the game simmed and uploaded tonight :)
