Transfers - Summer 2016 (So far)

Wolfsburg have had an explosive transfer window so far, with 5 players moving away from Prager Park, and 5 moving in to Prager Park within the first month of the transfer window. Edin Dzeko joined Athletico Madrid in a £30M deal to create one of the most deadly strike forces in World Football as he will be paired alongside Sergio Aguero in the Spanish teams attacking third. Artem Milevskyi signed for local rivals Bochum for a cut price £2.5M as he was deemed surplus to requirements to Daniel Feliciano's plans anymore. Ashley Cole left the club on a free transfer after the two parties couldn't agree a new deal with the German champions. Oscar Santaniello and Jose Enrique have also left the club on frees. However, Daniel Feliciano was quick to bring in players to fill the gaps left in the squad by those departed. The biggest transfer easily being the signing of Italian forward and player of the European Championships, Alberto Paloschi for a staggering club record £55M. He will looked at to fill the void left by former club captain Edin Dzeko. Franck Ribery has also joined the German champions, but he has joined on a free transfer after he couldn't agree a new deal at his former employers, Barcelona. 3 youngsters have also joined the Wolfsburg club, with central midfielder Daniel, full back Michele Marinelli and Branislav Protic all also joining for minimal fees.

Daniel Feliciano has been quoted as saying that he is still looking to bring in one more player for that central midfield position that was left empty by the retirement of Rafael Van Der Vaart, who has re-signed with the club as a scout, and Ricardo Costa who was captain of the German club when Daniel Feliciano arrived, has also signed with the club as a youth scout, after he also retired from the professional football during the summer.

Wow thats a shocker

Cole, Dzeko and Artem all leaving in one summer ouche really.

Yeah, big changes!
How would everyone play Paloschi? What role, can't figure it out really.

Yeah he's not a big name, but look at his stats!
Definately worth it with the goals he scores!

Paloschi is a beast, hot wonderkid in real life not just FM ... was amazing on 09, not as good on 10 from what i've seen. But players are different on every patch

Looking at his pace, I'd play him as Poacher :)

Yeah, playing him as a poacher and he just got me a massive hat-trick XD
What a partnership him and Sanogo could be XD

Yeh i have Sanogo with my villa team, still only 18 so on loan at QPR in championship, scoring for fun ... does he turn out world class?

Does he turn out World Class?
World Class is an understatement. He is incredible!
My top scorer last season and he's only 23/24... Epic Target Man/Poacher!

A fantastic month and an unbelievable start to the season. I thought we'd struggle for goals at first without our talisman Edin Dzeko around anymore, and with 3 of my 5 strikers away on international duty at the Olympics, but the old free scoring Wolfsburg seem to be back, and they came back with a bang! A massive 4-0 win led by new star striker Alberto Paloschi the highlight of the domestic campaign so far, and the 5-1 thumping of Man City gave us a fourth consecutive European Super Cup, yet another record for Daniel Feliciano. Gourcuff seems in the form of his life, and Otamendi can't stop scoring either, having already scored 4 goals this season, which was his entire tally of the whole of last season! But an excellent start to the season and hopefully we can keep this form up throughout the whole year!

UEFA Champions League - Group Stage Draw..
View attachment 44507

Tough group for us, but I'm confident that we can prevail from it. We've been drawn with AC Milan yet again, and hopefully this season we can get our revenge on them after they did the double over us last season in the group stages but now with our secret weapon, their ex star striker, Alberto Paloschi is now in the green kit of Wolfsburg and will be looking to score goals for us and against them ;).

Wowa, hes immense cant wait till hes 20 ish so i can play him regurlaly :P

Haha, I try not to ;)
I do sometimes though, but when you have a squad that is this strong.. if you lose, it's always an upset!
I enjoy the game though because I know that this squad is one I've built, I didn't start with it.

I just read 29 pages over about 4 days lol and your are immense at this game how do you do it i cant even get man city to 4th place but oh well

Oh dear.
Well it's hard work, the right tactics, the right players and a bit of luck ;)
