Wolfsburg edge closer to title!
Schalke 0-3 Wolfsburg
Great win for the team. We played very well and conrolled the match from start to end. 2 centre backs scoring made the win that little bit better, and then Traore topped it off. Very pleased. 6 points clear with 3 games to go, means I only need 4 points to retain the title but my goal is to get all 9 even with Bayern as the last game.

Great achievment for the club to win our second consecutive league title. We were consistent throughout most of the season, having that one dry patch of about 6 draws on the trot, but we battled out of it, and have managed to win the league with 2 games left. Well done lads, and now I can look forward to winning the German Cup as well as the league, and may rest some players in the final 2 league games of the season so that everyone is fit for the final.

Champions dumped
Hertha BSC 1-0 Wolfsburg
We were defeated fairly. We didn't deserve anything from this game, we were that poor. But, I made 8 changes to the line up so I can be happy that it wasn't my strongest line up and my key players got some rest. I also found out that Dzeko needs only 3 league goals to become Wolfsburg's all time top league goalscorer so that is an incentive for him in the final league game against Bayern Munich.

Wolfsburg finish season with draw
Wolfsburg 2-2 Bayern Munich
Good way to finish the season. High scoring game, full of entertainment and best of all, we didn't lose. We didn't win either, but a draw was definately fair, they controlled the first half and we controlled the second. Excellent season, but now we must beat Schalke to win the German Cup and make up for not progressing further in the Champions League. It will also be a great send off for Makoto Hasebe and Christian Gentner who will be leaving us in the summer.

Wolfsburg Penalised!
Schalke 1-1 Wolfsburg (4-3 Pens)
Gutted to lose the final on penalties. Our luck in the shootouts finally ran out, and for the first time this season, we didn't win when we deserved to. We controlled the game, and one error from Barzagli cost us a goal and he looked shaky at the back for the rest of the game. Took him off and lost a lot of physical presence and they started to come into the game more and more. Unlucky to lose, but we weren't trophy-less and we'll go into next season looking to avenge our defeat as well as retaining our championship for a 3rd straight year.

Yeah I was thinking that I need two box to box mids.. so can't spend all of it on one player.. will have to have a look around at the deals.

Wolfsburg make massive signing!
Wolfsburg today completed the signing of Rafael Van Der Vaart from Real Madrid for a total of £7.25M. The German champions will pay the European champions an initial £2.5M and then another £4.7M over the next 48 months. He is thought to be the man to replace Christian Gentner, and Daniel Feliciano is sure that he could make a bigger impact than the departing Gentner did in his title winning season.
Any suggestions on what kind of training to put him on?
