Decent group and we should qualify. Lyon will be our toughest opponents, but I'm hoping we are strong enough to deal with it, and qualify top of the group.

Wolfsburg have snatched a deadline day deal with Oscar Cardozo joining the German champions for an initial £5.25M with another £7.5M being paid over 36 months. Feliciano described it as a "coup" for the club and was sure that "Oscar and Edin would make the best partnership in German League History"

Oscar Cardozo made a massive impact on his debut bagging a brace on his debut in German football to give his side the win in this top of the table clash. Two excellent finishes from the Paraguayan forward pushed Wolfsburg 3 points clear at the top of the table, and ensured their 100% record stays in tact. Great performance and we were solid throughout the match. Excellent display.

Massive problem...
European registration.. I didn't have enough home-grown players, so I holidayed for a day thinking it would just put some people in it, but no it took some of my key players out. I now have to go through the whole group stages without Cardozo, and any holding midfielders :|
Any ideas on how I can change it?

Fantastic team spirit shown here by the boys in green. Went 2-0 down rather early and both goals came in quick succession, however we stuck together and once Misimovic got his goal, we looked unstoppable and it was only a matter of time before we got a second and then a third.

Wolfsburg struggle to draw
Stuttgart 1-1 Wolfsburg
We battled for the draw. Struggled without the creativity of Misimovic from the start, and played much better when he came on, despite having only 10 men. Dzeko had a chance to win it at the death with a header but fluffed it horribly. But a draw is a point gained rather than 2 dropped and we will look to get a win in the next game.

Wolfsburg romp to 3rd round
Wolfsburg 4-1 St Pauli
Easy win, wouldn't have expected any less than to batter them and we duly delivered. One thing I'm worried about is 3 red cards in 3 games after Petit was sent off in this one. Maybe need to take a look at that and make sure it doesn't happen consistently. Good win, and we sail through to the next round.

Wolfsburg win to keep record going
Wolfsburg 3-1 Mainz
Good solid victory. Comfortable win for us, and we looked good for our win throughout, even when they equalised we looked dead certs to win and we duly delivered. Good performance, and we will look for more of the same when we face Lech next.
