Yes, but I know how good of a manager you are ;)

No-one cares about what the in-game board thinks anyways. :p

Lol, actually playing with a RL board I actually feel more under-pressure to give good advice, I just hope none of my calls do badly :S

Have you been chatting with Eds about the WC mate?

Because if England fail, you'll be going with him ;)

Haha we have been discussing the squad and how to tighten the defence since before the spain game, or since before he posted the result anyway.

Look forward to next update. :D

Tried to incorporate some of eds writing into my updates. :)

Daniel Carter has today declared himself pleased at the submitted 30 man squad. Carter added the team has enough strength to challenge for the for the World Cup title and believes this could be the year.

Carter has made it known as of late that the current manager had done a good job in the build up too the world cup, but has to make sure he carries it on into the World Cup.

Carter added however, If he failed to achieve what is expected during the World Cup his contract would be unfortunately terminated, along with his new assistant.

FA Chairman, Mr Proctor has passed his best wishes onto the current manager and the whole of the England team, also asking all the fans to get behind the nation.

Van der Eiek "Cannot Wait"

Following the release of England preliminary 30-man WC squad new assistant manager van der Eiek admitted he cannot wait for the World Cup to start. Speaking in an interview for GMTV the England A.Man said this

"Obviously, we have a lot of pressure, the fans expect a lot, and both me and my superior know the boards expectations. But that just makes it all the more fun for me, I look forward to big occasion's, im used to them with Inter Milan and Arsenal but the World Cup is the biggest footballing stage, and I cant wait to get on that plane to South Africa. Lets bring home that second star!"

I'm not just saying this because I am in charge of it, and responsible for it, but I really do think this has potential to be one of the best stories ever on FM-Base.

I am working with 3 very good people here, I will be doing an interview on how the World Cup has gone tomorrow.

Haha, the more im involved the more I feel like we are actually a backroom team at England, the idea was fantastic. Lets just hope your review dosent include the word fired and does include words like delighted and ecstatic.

Who do you all think should be included in the 23 man squad then followers?

Maybe get rid of Heskey, Beckham, Hargreaves, Neville, Almunia, Upson and Crouch?

i agree with you nufcboykirtley but almunia's from spain so i would drop almunia and have foster

I guess we'll soon find out, I believe it will be announced in the next 30 minutes,
