Welcome to our final instalment of the season on newly bought clubs in Europe here is a summary of each team in there respective divisions
Premier Division
It was a season to remember for Newcastle fans they made the top 4 and also won the FA cup, Diego |Costa being pivotal for them scoring 20 league goals so silverware and top 4 in Jake Robinson's initial season as Newcastle owner. Elsewhere Everton finished 5th 1 point behind Arsenal they just couldn't get the result against the big boys when it mattered but I would imagine they'll be back next season hungrier than ever. Southampton had a steady first season under new ownership and finished a respectable 9 point's behind champions league place they will surely be a force next year. Elsewhere championship contenders bolton nailed promotion and look forward to being back in Englands Elite.
Belgian First Division
Despite a struggling start Anderlecht managed to overcome that and sneak a champions league place but it was at times a season of inconsistency for Van Den Brom's men it reamians to be seen if his assistant Solskjaer will be promoted to the manager's position.
Ligue 1
It really was a season to remember for PSG as they strolled to victory in Ligue 1 but it was their european adventure that caught many people's eye Laudrup will be hoping for more of the same next season from his men especially Zlatan who was clinical in front of goal with 35 goals overall.
Germany
Schalke had a good first season under brendan rodgers finishing third in the bundesliga they had a disappointing european campaign crashing out of the champions league at the group phase and then going out at the quarter final stage of the europa league. But new chairman Lewie Roberts will be hoping this is the start of something new. Elsewhere big spending 1860 Munich strolled to promotion and will be looking to mix it with the bundesliga big boys.
Holland
It was a season that promised so much for Ajax but they seemed to just run out of gas with losses at critical moments costing them the title and ultimately a Champions League place it remains to be seen what chairmans Nath Walkers next move will be after hefty outlaws on new players
Italy
It was a historic season for Juventus with an unprecedented treble winning the league by 9 points scooping the Coppa Italia and winning the champions league, Next season will be tough though with no winners of the European Cup since it evolved into the champions league has ever retained their title will Juventus make yet more history
Portugal
It was Heartbreak for FCP they just couldn't overturn the two point deficit on Braga and thus losing the title by two point's they did however win the Taca De Portugal and Capello will be getting ready to go again next season.
Spain
Real Betis had a fine season claiming third in La Liga and making the champions league group stages betis really did surprise everyone and their new chairman must surely be over the moon. Celta Vigo let a top 4 finish slip from their grasp but new chairman Dale Henderson is said to be happy with the first season and is hoping that they can build on things next year.
