Newcastle continue to rise!

Jose Mourinho and his backroom team have really made something special out of this Newcastle side as they continue to rise up the league, they are now third with a game in hand on the teams above them. Jake Robinson said "At the start of the season we had many doubters, people thought that we would fail. Well we haven't it's been a massive success and whether we finish in a Champions League spot or not I salute all the players, all the staff and all the fans as all these people have been absolutely terrific. Let's finish our season on a high, let's show every team what we are made of!"


Blackpool 2-3 Newcastle (FA Cup 3rd)

We weren't at our best today and we should be defeating Championship sides a little easier than this but this put's us through to the 4th round where we will face Premiership rivals Fulham.

A disappointing draw at home against the Welsh side and puts us in danger of going out as we play the 2nd leg at Swansea's ground.

A good win against a strong Everton side makes us complete the double over them this season and Everton's owner will not be happy with that one.

Disappointing to go out as we got close to the final but now we set ourselves a challenge for next season to get even closer and try and win the cup.

We beat Fulham again this year and score an impressive three goals we now progress to the 5th round where we will face Huddersfield at home.

A disappointing loss against the league leaders, see's us slip away from really making a title push, but we now move on and pick ourselves up and carry on.

We again beat Hull 4-0 and is a brilliant way to recover from losing the previous game, Diego Costa carries on his outstanding form this season as he bags another 2.

A tough game against the Yorkshire side but the hosts prevail and we come out victorious and now in the 6th round and will face Liverpool.

We win again, this time against the Canaries a battling display and another good performance from Diego Costa makes us bring home 3 points.

I am on nights guys and girls for the next two days so an update will either be tomorrow daytime or Friday daytime then I think I am away for the weekend but not 100% the mrs is being indecisive so I'll let you all know. If I am away the transfer window will not open till Monday because I will obviously not be able to answer PMs with valuations. But will keep you all posted on what is going on!

We are here outside Newcastle United's ground and we are going to have an exclusive interview with the owner of this club Jake Robinson.

Reporter: So Jake, You have been at this club now for nearly nine months now, have things gone exactly to plan since you first joined?

Jake: Yes, to a certain extent. We have had a successful campaign to date and we're in a Champions League spot, which was also part of the plan but to hire Jose, that wasn't part of any plan but when I saw my friend Roberto struggling I wanted to help him out and to our luck and again I state Inter's loss we found Jose available for a free.

Reporter: Moving on to that, since joining Newcastle you have made a fair few enemies even club legend Alan Shearer but in recent times you have stepped back from controversy and just focused on club matters is this the end of any more possible arguments?

Jake: Let me say this now I will never, repeat never back down from a fight, I'm just warming up I will come back, I will come back to haunt whoever has stepped in my way before. This isn't the end it is only the beginning.

Reporter: Does this mean the feud between you and the Inter owner will carry on?

Jake: End? It will never end, I will never respect that man, he's a vile animal. He shouldn't be allowed to run the club, he has no respect for anybody.

Reporter: In other news there has been strong reports over the Winter Transfer Window you was going to strengthen your squad with a right back, why didn't that happen?

Jake: That is true, and we have agreed to bring in a right back, his name is Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton, we agreed a 30m fee 12 hours before the window ended. But this is what has annoyed me. I rang and rang Southampton owner a number of times but he never picked up, that is unprofessional on one of the busiest days in football and he wasn't there to answer. We now have have had to live without an accomplished right back for months, it is a good job Jerome Boateng is doing a fine job.

Reporter: Finally, at the beginning of the season Everton owner said you would finish below them, but you now sit in front of them with a 5 point gap in 3rd place, is this a surprise given without much Premier League experience from the players? And where do you think you will finish at the end of this season?

Jake: It's a funny old game isn't it? The season isn't over yet and anything can happen but I believe my players will finish above them as we are the superior team but how don't we have Premier League experience? Jerome Boateng had a season with Man City, We Coloccini who has spent years in England and we also have many other players with Premier League experience so that is a load of bullsh*t. Also we are good enough to finish 3rd but I wouldn't be surprised if we got to finish 2nd.

Our first match to review is that of Juventus and AC Milan, the first leg ended 3-1 to Milan and this second leg did not dissapoint with goals, a penalty and a sending off who would triumph in this battle of Italian Superclubs

Join us now for our semi-final highlights show, we have two great games for you with PSG vs CSKA Moscow and Juventus vs Chelsea.

First up we have PSG vs CSKA this match had goals galore and was 2-2 after the first leg in Moscow but who will blink first in this deadly shoot out .

Matt Smith: "Fantastic, fantastic results!! First we beat Man Utd at home 3-1 to ensure we would be through to the semi finals and then we trashed CSKA to march through the champions league final!"

I give credit to the players, including Ibra's exploits in the last game; it is a pleasure to have him at our club!"

Laudrup has done amazing since taking over from Blanc in the summer..and to think we could have the Ligue 1 title and the Champions league trophy to our names in the next few weeks!

"I expect a sell out crowd with PSG fans cheering out our team in the final! We have the ability to finish as the best team in Europe!"

"Finally, I say good luck to Juventus chairman; we go back a long way and I have the utmost respect for the man. If we dont win in the final..I couldn't think of a better team and chairman to beat us!"

I'd like to do more highlights but the thing is because of the stupid youtube login bug I can't just upload straight from fm. I have to use FRAPS then condense the video then upload the vid so its a proper time sink. If I can find a workaround I will use it.

However the seasons already been decided I just decided to have some extra sleep and keep you all guessing on CL winners :p

Like I say mate seasons already done, so its too late and the time it takes to do it is too much with doing the champions league knockouts as well it takes a few hours to sort all that out so I'm sorry won't be doing europa league

Probably monday will keep everyone posted I have been put on 6-6 nights for the forseeabke future so my body clock is properly mangled right now. I am a grouchy ******* :(

Just a tip for the future: Maybe you should have some kind of music over the matches. It may take more time to edit I guess, but its worth considering :)
 
I prefer it how it is, just showing match highlights, would be too time consuming when the main reason for it is just to show people the game, may as well just keep it simple
