End of Season Review and Second Season Plans!

It was an ultimately disappointing season for Ajax and Walker. Finishing in 3rd place and without any silverware. Walker had this to say about his first season:


"We are happy with how the season started and if we carried that form on I have no doubt that we would have won the league, unfortunately after our loss in the Champions League knockout round against CSKA the wheels came off and our season fell apart. I admit that I am partly to blame, I made too many signings in the transfer windows and upset the morale and fluidity of the current squad. I will not be making the same mistakes this season.


As for my plans this season, we might look at making two or three signings but nothing more, unless we can sell some players to make room for new signings. I want to win the league this year, if that does not happen then I will re-evaluate the current situation in regards to staff and players. "
 
Bond Unhappy With First Season

"Ultimately it was a disappointing season. We missed out on champions league football and that sets us back a bit." said Mr. Bond when asked about how his team did this season. He continued by saying "We improved after January but unfortunately it wasn't enough."

When asked about changes next season all he had to say was "It will definitely be much better. I can promise that much to the fans." ​
 
sorry if I haven't got to your request's I am working my way toward them, I am gunna release an updated save tomorrow up to the 27th of june so player histories are set for the next year all the tv money has been dished out and you can see your initial budgets etc, it will probably be early hours this morning as I am trying to stay in 6-6 mode and stay up late as it is my night off so keep your eyes peeled. ALso with us moving to one weekly update if you feel that is to slow and do not wish to keep participating let me know via PM and there will be no hard feelings on my part

edit 1 also if you want to add me on steam PM me your username and if you see I am in FM feel free to ask away about players quicker than Base but if I am in another be warned I will just ignore player requests

Real Betis change their stadium name!

Real Betis has today announced they will change their stadium name, from Estadio Benito Villamarìn to Betis Arena.

Changes in Everton staff

Everton FC have announced changes in their backroom staff. 3 coaches have been brought into the club including 2 from the same club. Both Eamon Mulvey and John Cooke have been brought in from Manchester United to improve the coaching to the first team and allow the coaching staff to specialize further on the players progress. The 3rd coach that has been brought in is Pim Verbeek who is currently working with the Moroccan National team. His experience of working all over the world from Asia to Africa and of course Europe will surely help Everton in their quest for Champions League football.

Chairman Gonzalo Flores has also announced that manager Roberto Martinez has his full support and they will be working together to look and find a way to push the club into Champions league football. This is what he had to say.

"Roberto may have fallen short of the target I set for him at the start of the season but I feel he got us so close that with the right kind of investment in the club he is the man that can take us further. I have full confidence in him to produce the goods for the team and he knows this. We have a great professional and personal relationship and we both can't wait for the new season to start as we look to challenge in both the Premier league and the Europa league."

Welcome to NUTV where we will be discussing the end of the season and everything NUFC and we have here today the owner of the club Jake Robinson. So hi Jake, wow well at the start of the season I can honestly put my hands up and say that I thought it was all PR when you was confident of reaching the Champions League, but we have and I apologise, how do you feel about this season?

Well firstly I accept your apology, it was a big ask but the whole team of Newcastle have really pulled together and worked to get to where we are this season. It's been a brilliant season for us we qualified for the Champions League, won the FA Cup and Capital One Cup semi finalists so this season in my eyes has been very successful.

Okay so Jake, would you like to go through the results with us?

Gladly, well the end of the season wasn't that great for us really 3 wins out of our last seven Premier League games isn't great but the winning the FA Cup really made up for it. Firstly we beat Man Utd 2-1 thanks to a double from Luuk De Jong, he has been a really good player when it comes to the important parts of the games, I am delighted with him. Next we come up against a tough Man City side and we took them to extra time and beat them 2-1 as well with goals from Diego Costa and Luuk De Jong.

In the league we lost to Crystal Palace and Cardiff which is disappointing and next season I expect Jose to sort that out. We also beat Man City 3-1 with goals from Luuk De Jong and Guissepe Rossi.

So, a slightly disappointing month but we still get 3rd place and won the FA Cup so are you pleased or disappointed?

Well getting 3rd place and winning the FA Cup is pleasing but I am disappointed with how we finished the season if the teams like Arsenal or Everton were decent enough we would've lost out we are lucky the other teams were poor.

Quite a dig at Arsenal and Everton there, anyway what are your plans for next season and can we expect signings?

I want to aim for Champions League again next season, we need to be careful not to get ahead of ourselves too early, we are good enough for Champions League and to all Newcastle fans expect 2-3 signings.

game save here, its as of the 18th july, some AI managers have been busy (like wenger signed Krul then missed out on ochoa failing to agree a contract and he went to lokomotiv moscow! *******!) Check out what business youv'e done, updated all balances to include prize money and everyone has their tv rights too. If you want to set budgets etc let me know if I missed a transfer apologies, any prearranged transfers let me know (borne just remembered lukaku he will be done now a;so marchisio! oh and clyne too hhaha wengerballs and leeds united and proud) my inbox has been full twice today so i can only apologise if something was missed

Ive just downloaded the file now and after having a quick look I can immediately see that the free transfers have not been put through, at least for my team anyway. Hopefully these can be put in soon as they could affect the AI managers transfers in the transfer window.
