STATEMENT FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Fans of Newcastle, you have earned a place in my heart. I love you all. When the world turned against me you Newcastle fans always had faith in me and to return that faith, I gave you beautiful players, I gave you Champions League football. But now I feel I need to move away from England I need to explore other countries. I apologise if I have let people down, this beautiful club has already been sold and I will no longer be part of Newcastle United.

Newcastle will always be a part of me and now I am a supporter I am a fan for life and I will no longer fund this club. I am sorry.

Hull_City.svg_.png

Hull have had a great start to their second season in the Premier League whilst being under new chairman Craig Smith's guidance for the first time. 'The Tigers' are enjoying life in 6th spot after and impressive 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat from their opening 6 games. Shane Long has been their main goalscorer so far in the league having netted 4 goals in 6 games. Their new signings Joel ward and Ricardo Rodriguez have settled well and been playing some good football. Virgil Van Dijk may not have had such a good start but you can expect to see Hull continue to try get the best from him. Only real disappointment so far is the defeat in the Capital One Cup to Ipswich, but Hull's main aim this season is to finish better than last year and maybe even get European football.

Here are Hull's results from the first month of the season ;

English Premier League
Hull City 0 - 0 Manchester City
Matuidi - Sent Off
MOTM - Ricardo Rodriguez

English Premier League
Swansea City 0 - 2 Hull City
Shane Long
Nikica Jelavic
MOTM - Ryan Bennett

Capital One Cup 2nd Round
Ipswich Town 1 - 0 Hull City
Aaron Cresswell
MOTM - Aaron Cresswell

English Premier League
Hull City 3 - 2 Newcastle United
Hull Scorers
Jeremy Menez X2
Shane Long
Newcastle Scorers
Diego Costa
Andriy Yarmolenko
MOTM - Shane Long

English Premier League
Norwich City 0 - 3 Hull City
Shane Long
Nikica Jelavic X2
MOTM - Joel Ward

English Premier League
Hull City 0 - 0 Reading
MOTM - Alex Pearce

English Premier League
Everton 3 - 1 Hull City
Everton Scorers
Jese X2
Xherdan Shaqiri
Hull Scorers
Shane Long
MOTM - Jese

Hopefully Hull can continue this fine form next month, only thing that they would need to change is a little bit more consistency but Steve Bruce is still doing a very fine job.

Atalanta News Room

In the wake of the usurpation of Inter's chairman, it was only natural that Mr Fish, chairman of rivals Atalanta, was asked about it. He had the following statement prepared:

"Makes no difference, we're still going to grind them into dust. Both guys were similar, no decorum. We beat them once this season, we'll do it again. Pikkpoiss or this new muppet, the one with more money and power than sense, they are insignificant. Inter is done, the fans should find a new club to support."

Harsh words from Mr Fish, who until now had displayed a very apathetic nature towards the chairmen of the other super-clubs. Perhaps this new found confidence stems from their league position, a position on which Mr Fish said he would release comment on later this evening, after a fans forum.

As I understand it, Inter have been re-taken over, it's just the fallout from that.

Sidenote: Anything with the Atalanta heading; assume it is part of the storyline, not personal opinion.

Another 2 faces come in to Goodison

Everton were able to secure 2 signings before the deadline with both Xherdan Shaqiri and Keylor Navas coming to the north west. Navas will be coming in to compete with another summer signing for the no.1 jersey as Victor Valdes joined on a free transfer earlier in the summer after his Barcelona contract expired.

Xherdan Shaqiri comes in to provide competition and rotation for both Marco Reus and Andre Ayew after both Deulofeu and Mirallas left the club in the summer. These 3 are all top talents in their own right and manager Roberto Martinez will be hoping that they play with each other instead of restricting one another.

Mr Robinson's new club

We're here live in Italy, to speak exclusively to former Newcastle owner Jake Robinson, here he is now beginning to enter the press room to unveil his new club.

So Jake before we get started what do you actually do for a living?

Haha please.

No seriously, where did you get the money from to buy any football club?

Haha please.

(If anyone actually understands where that's from I will worship you forever)

Okay we'll move on from that then, so why did you decide to move on from Newcastle and why this club now?

I felt it was time where I moved out of England and wanted to to explore different countries and that is why I have come to Italy. I have lived in England all my life and now I get the chance to really live my life to the full and where is there a better place to start than this beautiful city... Rome. Yes that's right as you all know I have purchased AS Roma from the previous owner and in my opinion for a very cheap price.

You move here just months after saying that the Premier League needed a "Juventus" is this a reason why you took over Roma?

No it is not a reason, Roma is a fabulous football club with a very very proud history and I want to be part of this club. I want people to look back in a few years time and think wow, he did an excellent job. Yes though it is a nice bonus to be able to play against teams like Juventus and those will be days that I will cherish forever.

Inter have had to deal with controversial owners in the past especially one where you have locked horns quite a few times, what do you think of the new owner and his personal background?

Honestly? I actually preferred the previous owner, he was mad but not a raging lunatic. I will be looking to stay well clear of that man and I hope he gets what he deserves.

Back onto your current club, what is your plans and will we see investment in the January transfer window?

My plans is to make the club the most successful in Italy, we want to take back our crown and as well as that we want to dominate in Europe that is our plan. Will we see incomings? Of course I have a list of 5/6 that I will be attempting to bring in but I will not be dishing out names.

Finally, is Alberto Cavasin's job safe or will you be looking for someone else like Joachim Loew?

That is correct, Alberto has been relieved of his duties and Joachim Loew will become the new manager of the club, I enjoyed our chats he really knows his football and is a really intelligent man. Also it had already been confirmed earlier today, Joachim will become our new Roma manager. Thanks I'll be taking no more questions good bye.

"Jake Robinson is a coward"

After former Newcastle chairman Jake Robinsons move from owning Newcastle to Roma, Everton chairman Gonzalo Flores has criticised the chairman for his lack of commitment and for the timing of his move.

"Barney.. I mean Jake Robinson is a coward for the way he has handled himself recently. He talks about making Newcastle a powerhouse in both England and in Europe and then jumps ship as soon as he can. He has shown disrespect to everyone of Newcastle United and also everyone involved with the Premier league. He has now left Newcastle in the lurch as they are unsure of where their future lies and all the blame lies squarely at the feet of their former chairman. Newcastle now have to go into the season unsure of what is to come and I can see this being a very difficult season for the toon army."

Strong words there from Everton chairman Gonzalo Flores about Jake Robinson in what has been another twist in the heated relationship between the two chairmen. It will be interesting to see what happens if Everton and Roma ever meet in a European competition. Assuming that Jake Robinson hasnt moved on once again.

Newcastle in safe hands

Jake Robinson is puzzled why he was criticised so heavily this week and questioned whether Everton owner was mature enough to run a club.

"If it was him moving to another club I would wish him good luck, he has been extremely disrespectful towards me and Newcastle United. They are in safe hands, they will be looked after and I have left them in a position where the new owner can really thrive from it. If this man shows the same commitment as I did they will be a success.

Yes I wanted to make them a powerhouse and I have helped them come really far over the last 12 months but it was my time to move, I needed a different place a change of scenery and I am lucky to join one of the biggest clubs in the world. Maybe that is why, now I understand he has once again shown his jealousy towards me I have now been at two great clubs and him? Well he's stuck with little old Everton."
