Made an all bronze squad and stuck my gold players into an unfinished team (but Ocio on the bench)

You don't seem to have access to any of your non-player/manager cards unless they're in your trade pile, so will have to wait for it to properly release or for the web app to update.
 
Managed to snap up Borriello and Zidan for a combined total of 1850 coins ;)
