The Dark Knight Returns is a very strange take on The Batman. It is critically acclaimed but Frank Miller has a very radical take on the character. Look for The Killing Joke, The Long Halloween and Knightfall/Knightquest/Knightsend.
 
Anybody seen, You don't mess with the Zohan?!

I loved it! I thought it was so hilarious, i didn't think the ending was particularly good but overall i enjoyed it!
 
yeah i downloaded it , thought it was pretty ****, i mean i like sandler and there was some funny parts and the bird in it made it watchable but overall aavb
 
I thought it was average, adam sandler has done much funnier stuff
 
Pretty **** film, couple of ha's no lols really and they were all racist jokes.

I'm hoping Step Brothers will be good, adverts make it look good but most films these days just put all the good **** in the adverts
 
Saw The Happening last night. Really lame story with really lame acting :(
 
watched planet terror tonight, anyone seen it ? it's amazing and the humour is great 8/10

Planet Terror was meh. And only because Rico was in it.

Death Proof was just terrible, the dialogue is just so annoying.
 
I saw Get Smart with Sean the other day, wasn't terribly funny though he fell asleep for part of it! lol :irked:
 
Yeh Get Smart was rather boring actually even from what I expected. Some laughs in it though.

I thought get smart was pretty good, wasnt amazing, but it was pretty funny. Would deffo buy it on dvd.

I watched The Happening last night, was bored all the way through.

Watching Kingdom of Heaven tonight, I've been wanting to see it for a while now but never got round to it. Any one else seen it and what do you think of it?

Dogma is good, havn't seen in years though.

Happening was ridiculously boring film
about killer grass ffs
. (highlight for spoiler).

I saw it at the cinema when it came out. Was meh, action seemed decent in the cinema though so probably even worse to watch at home.
 
I went and saw Step Brothers on Friday with the lads and i wasnt up for it tbh. But i went and it was seriously one of the funniest films i haev ever seen, ive never laughed out loud so much at a film, it might have been because all us were together that made it funnier but it was v funny.

Ive never been a fan of Ferrell but he was good in this, and the other guy i John C Reilly i think was good as well, i saw him in a film called the Promotion with Seann William Scott AKA Stifler and he was only average, but he stepped up for this, has anyone else seen it?

Nah I havn't seen it. But you're right though films like that are always funnier if you go with a group of friends.
