Well The Dark Knight is fookin awesome. Went to see the advance screening last night and it was well worth the £13.60. Heath Ledger's Joker is phenomonal, by far the best Joker yet. The film itself is a great stand alone film and easily the best Batman film to date.

Highly recommended to go and watch on the big screen. I'm going again the weekend.

just got round to watching batman begins last night and i thought it was good maybe 7 or 8 out of 10

Yeh Batman Begins is a great super hero film, my fave anyway.

I'm going to go see it next week I hope. I just hope I get the time.

Yeh Batman Begins is a great super hero film, my fave anyway.

Actor Christian Bale doesn't consider his Batman character to be a superhero - because the comic book creation relies on gadgets to beat his villains.

The star portrays the Caped Crusader for a second time in new movie The Dark Knight, and admits there is nothing special about Batman.

He says, "Batman doesn't actually have any superpowers. He just has (alter ego) Bruce Wayne's wealth - although that is a certain type of power!"

Fine, it's my fave comic book hero film.

Saw it yesterday, it was pretty good. Joker is awesome (and im not someone who'll pretend its better because the actors dead). I think Bale isnt the best actor to play batman, hes decent when hes bruce wayne but his voice when he is batman is cringeworthy and he cant say more than two words at a time without taking a pause which is really annoying.

Yeh I think Bale does a brilliant Wayne but his Batman voice (in Begins) was a bit naff.

Well seeing as I went to the advance screening I got a 'free' (it cost £13.60 to get in) lenticular poster. It has holographic images of Batman, The Joker and Harvey Dent and was limited to the advance screening viewers.

Here's one and they're fetching up to £35 already. Mad! Why sell them when they're collectible items, and why pay £35 for one?!

Any way, as for the movie, Heath Ledger truely made me eat my words - he was an awesome Joker. I really didn't think he'd suit the role tbh, but I doubt anyone will top that performance. I've been a big fan of The Joker for years after collecting the comics and he was spot on. Obviously did a lot of research into it, and it is a shame he's dead because I doubt they'll ever touch The Joker again now.

As for Bale as Batman - I like him. I think he's the best Batman so far, and Michael Keaton was good. HIs voice could be better agreed, but it doen't take anything away from the film for me.

Finally, a big up to Gary Oldman. Two top class performances as Comm. Gordon and he even looks exactly like the comic character.

Still waiting to see The Dark Knight, maybe go on Wednesday before playing footy.

Anyway, watched the *** and the City film the other night, eventually....was good, enjoyed it. Probably better if you have seen some of the eps and have a feel for some of the characters and what they are like..i would say 6.5-7/10 maybe.

Just saw The Dark Knight.

10/10

Really glad Maggie Gyllanhall died, was even more annoying than Katie Holmes ffs.

Loved how Deebo was in the film

Didnt notice Sarah Dunn was in the film, was it in the Knight Club?, she was like the worst actor/ress on hollyoaks ffs.

I hate Heath Ledger, sorry hated. I was really annoyed when he was cast but he did a really good job, however i think most actors could have done a similar if not better job, the character and the way it was written in the film is just that strong. Also he went a bit overboard with the tongue thing.

Only thing i was slightly let down by was that Harvey turned bad reasonably easily, but wasnt that unconvcing to ruin or even taint the film in any way.

Was the major wearing eye liner?

...wow, i'm shocked, you didnt even mention Christian Bale!

i tried not to :) im becoming too much of a Bale fanboy...infact no im not, hes that **** good!

The films not really about Batman :S Ledger and to a lesser extent Oldmans performances stole the show

Joker and Harvey pwn :D.

Saw it tonight, brilliant film, 9.5/10.

Definately worth watching at the cinema.

It really is a quality film and I'm going to have to see it again. I've never been to a cinema to see the same film twice. Can't wait to see Bale as John Connor in Terminator Salvation.

I saw it last night. Was alright, I prefered Batman Begins though. I thought at the start of the film a lot of the scenes seemed to be ending quickly and jumping to another place and so on. One of my biggest dissapointments were the poorly shot action scenes where Batman was using hand-to-hand combat etc.. Considering this is basically where Batman has his power the cameras were far too close and jumping all over the place so you couldn't tell what was going on :(

Also about Harvey Dent I think it would have been much better if instead of rushing through the final part of his story it would have been better to have him in a sequel.

Ledger was quite good, Joker was funny and I think he played him well. Not Oscar-winning well though. Bale was a much better Wayne than Ledger was Joker. Bale's Batman was rather good too, I know the voice is a bit weird but personally I like it.

8/10

I think i agree with Sean on Dark Knight, though i thought it was good it wasn't as good as i expected it to be, i much prefer Batman Begins.

Heath Ledger though made an amazing Joker his performance was incredible, at times he was quite funny! I liked his pencil joke. :D

oh and why was the mayor wearing eyeliner for?

Gothams mayor wears eyeliner. These people think they know.

Th Dark Knight has inspired me to replace my lost Batman comic collection. Bought about 100 issues of Batman and Detective comics this month. It's costing me a fortune but it's well worth it. Thank God for Ebay.

I went to see it again last night :)

My fav bits either when the Joker walks into the mob meeting going ha ha he he ho ho etc or the bit where he walks out in the nurses outfit and keeps mashing the button to blow up the hospital

It inspired me to download The Dark Knight Returns. I've never read a comic book before so I hope it's good. :D
