DivMuzza, give "Tell No One" a read, I haven't got round to seeing the film but the book was cracking.

The Naked Gun was on the other day and I've seen it about 5 times and is still hilarious.

In my opinion The Naked Gun series are the best comedies of all time and vigorously recommend them.

9.75/10 :P

The series is better,Police Squad. I have it on DVD,they only made 6 episodes :( in 1980 but it got canned after a lack of interest in America,it has cult following in Britain though where it was popular, brilliant.

Just watched Rock'N'Rolla, seen it many a time but it never gets boring, great film.

Tell No One - 9/10
Highly recomend this French film. Dont want to give anything away just watch it.

Green Street 2: Stand Your Ground - 5/10
Faily enjoyable but completely unrealistic.

The Music of Chance - 7/10
Suprised by this film thought it was going to be ***** but was not bad.

I would not even give GS2 a 5. Compare to the first one was total **** and the story line and acting was also ****.

I still remember dad and you crying during the prison break out scene.

Amazingly funny films. Airplane is also brilliant, as you know.

If anyone hasn't seen the work of the great Leslie Nielsen, you need to watch at least one of his films.

Im not a big Leslie Neilson fan. Plays the same guy in every film I think. But then again Comedy actors are never very good as long as theyre funny.

Yeah I caught some of those on youtube.

I like the scene from 5.20 onwards: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyQGa4N-WU4"]YouTube- Police Squad! | Episode 1: A Substantial Gift (The Broken Promise) Part 1 [HD / HQ] [CC][/ame]

I'm not sure I'd call them the best comedies of all time, but they are hugely entertaining. I do love me some O. J. Simpson as well :)

Watched the following recently

Star Trek 7/10 Decent story, cast and it kept me interested.

The day the earth stood still 4/10 yawn. to sum it up 'i am going to kill all human's to save the planet' 'no don't we can change' 'meh' 'please?' 'yeah ok'

End

Saw Youth In Revolt over the weekend, quirky film. Michael Cera is, as usual, solid and funny, good cast despite the relative low key PR of the film: Steve Buscemi, Ray Liotta, Zack Galfakakakakais (Alan from The Hangover- surname is impossible to spell!), Fred Willard to name a few.
It could have been funnier but stil very enjoyable. 7/10

Just watched '500 Days of Summer' and although I wasn't expecting too much from the film (I assumed it was a typical romantic comedy), I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it and found myself smiling along with the film at times.

I won't go into detail about why I liked it, as it'll contain spoilers. However I will say that the acting seemed good, with the main role played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I've not seen much of his work, but I thought he was excellent in this.

The music was great throughout, and made me add a couple of things to my iPod playlist.

So yeah, all in all, definitely worth a watch in my opinion. Now somebody will probably come along and say the complete opposite. :@

The reviews ive heard have said its a horrible scene/emo film. The way they use songs from The Smiths etc so i'd rather not watch it, even though JG-L pwnz

Watched Apocalypto yet again the other day.Even though its made by a **** its one of my all time favorites.A brilliant watch. 10\10

It's none of those things. It's expertly shot, cut and paced. Good acting performances from Gordon-Levitt and the gorgeous Zooey Deschanel. And yeah, awesome soundtrack.

In Bruges (2008), dir. Martin McDonagh – A hilarious dark comedy set in the beautiful Belgian city Bruges. Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes all give terrific performances along with the charming Clémence Poésy. As I said, it is a dark comedy, which means it does have a serious subject matter but it is treated both seriously and humourously. It had me in stitches throughout. "YOU'RE AN INANIMATE ******* OBJECT!" 9/10

Yeah, seen it and enjoyed it. Good film with a lot of claret involved. (6)

As for 'In Bruges'; I thought it was brilliant. Seen it a few times now, and actually think it's the best film by Colin Farrell by a long stretch.

Meh tbh, Zooey+films genre+soundtrack does stink of horrible cooky sceneness, but I may watch it as its not good to critise what you dont know :)

In Bruges was a great film, again something I need to rewatch

Anything to do with Zooey = drooooool all over my my shoes.

Ken: Coming up?
Ray: What's up there?
Ken: The view.
Ray: The view of what? The view of down here? I can see that down here.
Ken: Ray, you are about the worst tourist in the whole world.
Ray: Ken, I grew up in Dublin. I love Dublin. If I grew up on a farm, and was retarded, Bruges might impress me but I didn't, so it doesn't.

Epic Film. Maybe i will watch it with lee to **** you off Greggy.
