District 9 doesn't continue in that way. I think it's only the opening 20 minutes or so that's filmed from that perspective.

Obviously when you watch it sitting next to me it's going to be better

Yeh id heard the criticism that the film doesnt explain why everyone/thing is dead but they aint, but I also heard the book doesnt explain either

I also heard that the child actor was awesome-o

You heard wrong, unless you like watching wining kids for 2 hours, I'm still furoius about that film weeks later, it was not fit for public viewing, 2 hours of my life wasted.

"...had no storyline" That's true of almost no films. What you probably mean to say is that it's not a very original story. Now that is a more pertinent and accurate criticism in my book.

agree with this! It has a story line, but it is an almost complete replica of Pocahontas (we've all seen it! lol)
still a must-see film though, if only for the general experience. the worlds that Cameron created really come to life in 3D.
the 3D did give me a headache for the 1st 20 minutes or so though. its generally a gimmick but certain types of films will definately work better with it. Really looking forward to Alice In Wonderland

Funny you should mention the thing about having a headache, a few people I've talked to about the film said the same thing. I didn't have a headache, I just had a really fuzzy feeling in my forehead.. Uh, kinda hard to explain, but it was kinda like there was something buzzing inside. oO)

Gotta agree with you about Alice in Wonderland, looks magnificent. Classic story + Tim Burton visuals and atmosphere almost guarantees it's going to be a sweet experience.

Just watched Green Street 2, actually one of shitest movies i have seen. I normally like these type of films, the first Green Street was really good but I just felt this one did not have any story line and was all just about beating the ***** in to each other. Appalling.

Just watched Gamer. Not impressed, very average, hard to get into and a little too far fetched. 5\10

They ripped the **** out of the footbal hooligans thing. Made too many in too short a space of time and remade The Firm. Infact kind of reamade it twice because Football Factory had copid loads from it.

Just stayed up to watch Con Air, surprisingly first time I have seen it. Amazing film, my type of film.

If that is bad then you clearly have never had the misfortune of watching the "movie" Sickle. It is pathetic from start to finish, **** storyline, **** actors, **** everything. I could have done better myself with a camcorder and a baseball bat.

Get Rich Or Die Trying.

Seen it loads of times, and i think, it's a super film, i like 50 Cent anyway, his music is great, and the film is also great. If you have not seen it, i suggest you should.

Kidulthood And Adulthood

I saw Adulthood, on TV a while ago, and really liked it, i new there was Kidulthood, but i never saw that, till the other week, i got them both on DVD, and watched them both, and really good films, how the main person in the 1st film, is all bad, bullying people, then kills someone, goes to jail, then in Adulthood he gets out, and people are after him, he is all sorry, i just think they are both good films.

Death Race

Also another good film, a Ex racing driver is framed for the murder of his wife, and goes to prison, and the prison has a Death Race, where if you win 5 races you get set free, and they have a Racer called, Frankenstein and he has to wear a mask cause his face is all messed up, but he dies, so they get this Ex racing driver to be Frank and act like he is not dead. Ect...

4 Great films, that if you have not seen them, you should.

You make me want to watch to see how bad it is. (6)

I had the whole thing predicted in 10 minutes and I rarely watch films. It's very amateur-ish, really poor effects and just ****. It gets a -4/10. It's way worse than Jay and Silent Bob, and that's poor on any level

Oh man, don't knock Kevin Smith. Legend ;)

Now, if we're talking so-bad-it's-good films, I can't recommend Shark Attack 3: Megalodon, one of the funniest films I've ever seen, it's just so preposterous. You may know it from its appearances in videos and lists such as "worst effects" and in it, the best line of all time appears, I won't spoil it as it's such a glorious moment.

Can be found on YouTube in its entirety and it is really worth watching, it had me and a mate in stitches throughout.

Watched The Firm last night. Not a terrible film but hardly a classic either.Very typical Nick Love film,he seems to have an obsession with the 80s and particularly the trainers and tracksuits from that decade, anyone who who's seen one of his other films The Business will know what im talking about. 6\10

Yeah I thought it was overloaded with the tracksuits and trainers from that period. I thought it was okay but I would not watch it again or recommend it as a film worth watching tbh.

How was The Firm compared wit hthe original?

Exiled - 8/10.
Typical Hong Kong shooter. Very well directed. Not much dialouge but plenty of shootouts. Headshots rearly looked so good in cinema. Better than most american shooters.

The Club - 5/10.
I know what youre thinking. Is it about football? In a word yes. In a sentince Australian rules football so more like rugby except worse. Worth a watch if only to laff at how cheesey it is.

Watched Sherlock Holmes the other night.

Enjoyed the film, my kind of film. It's not brilliant but it's watchable and its enjoyable and I like the ending.

7/10
