Just bought the extended version of Taken from Asda for £3 . Absolute bargain, fooking brilliant film.

I've wanted to see that film for a while. Just haven't got round to it. Will definitely have to watch it soon though everyone seems to say good things about it.

I have seen it, it is a very good film. I enjoyed watching it. Just saw Hurt Locker yesterday, also thought that was brilliant, definitely worth watching, even though I watched in Spanish, which wasnt great...

Taken is such a weird film.

It's good for all the wrong reasons. It's a thriller I guess but I think I laughed more at some of the ridiculous parts of the film than I was 'thrilled'...

Still a decent watch though.

Watched a couple of films last night.

Law Abiding Citizen. Decent watch this.Gerard Butler is a good guy gone bad on a revenge mission against not only the killers and rapists of his wife and child but the whole justice system. Some cool killings in it too. 8\10

Paranormal Activity. This was total wank, and i have an intrest in the paranormal too.Absolute garbage, worse than Blair Witch. 1/10 The 1 is the the decent cleavage shots you get from Katie Featherston.

I was wanting to go see that at the cinema today but it isn't on until tomorrow. Not going tomorrow, i hate wednesdays they are far too busy.

Want to watch Kick-*** guess I'll just wait for the DVD, anybody know a realease date or is it too early?

I watched Sherlock Holmes yesterday, wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, typical Guy Richie film, some great comedy mixed with some decent action scenes. Would recommend it, probably one of the best films I've seen this year. 9/10 Only thing I would change is the slow storyline and the fact that there is very little mystery to the story.. Other than that a great read..

I really enjoyed the film myself. it was kinda built up as a horror, but it wasnt. I really enjoyed it. i thought it was designed to keep people thinking and on the edge of there seats, it did that for me.

Each to their own,i thought it was ****.

Just watchd 2012,seemed a bit confused to me like they couldnt decide which catastrophe to go with so went with them all. We seen Solar Flares, shifting of the poles, yellowstone going up,Magnetic field dissapearing,i was half expecting the Moon to crash into us too. Typical Roland Emmerich waffle. 5/10

Righteous Kill - Enjoyable enough tho very predictable actually if you listned and pay attention it actually tells you who the killer is at the start. Not the tension between De Niro and Pacino tho I suppose thats because there are partners opposed to enimies as in Heat. Also as a big film fan it was a kick in the teeth to see 50 Cent alongside arguably(but only by few) the 2 greatest actors of all time.
6/10

Trespass - From Walter Hill so expect some decent action. Good cast in Bill Paxton and William Sadler and a good cast of some top black actors at the time tho their acting abilities can be diputed Ice T, Ice Cube and Glenn Plumber. Basicly two firemen come across a map of where some stolen gold may be hidden in what now is an abandoned factory only to arrive there and whitness a murder by some drug dealers who come after them. Worth a watch
7/10

The Duellists - was about 6am and there were some Tecnical dificulties with Conan so wasnt paying much attention. Two officers in Nepoleans army duel a bunch of times basicly because one is a bully who claims he was insulted tho he clearly wasn't. At the end they have one last duel to the death. Some decent sword fighting.
Like I said wasnt paying much attention so if anyone else has seen it could maybe tell me more about it please.
5/10

Me, Myself and Irene - Love Jim Carey. Easily the best comedy actor of all time. ertainly head and shoulders above the Adam Sandlers and Ben Stillers. Also admire that he brought throug to lean in a genre that is predominantly Jewish. Anyway great film with a great soundtrack. A Rhode Island state trooper who develops a split personality due to not dealing with his problems who meets a girl who needs his help as she is on the run from the gay mafia. Just watch it.

Re-Animator (1986)

Its a zombie film, its cheap, its gory, gruesome and its awesome.
The plot is about a mad scientist who creates a formula, that when injected into the dead brings them back to life, well kind of.
They are often brain dead, and ...well zombies.
Herbert West the mad scientist is played by Geoffrey Combs, who gives an outstanding performance, his character his such a ****, yet you love him.
Special effects without the use of CGI are at there finest here, for the time the effects are brilliant and just disgusting
This is one of the most unique zombie films and certainly one of the greatest of all time

9.5/10

Bride Of Re-Animator (1990)

Herbet West and his back and is crazier than ever, as the title suggests it kind of follows the template of Bride Of Frankenstien.
So West has moved on from bringing the dead back to life to creating new life from spare body parts.
Just as fun as the first, just as gory and stupid, however there are a few plot holes, the plot of this one not as strong as the first films plot was based off the HP Lovecraft novel.
This is a good sequel worth a watch

7/10

THE HORSEMAN. This is a brutally violent and disturbing Austrailian film. When a father is sent a video of his daughter being drugged, gang raped and left to die something snaps in him and he sets out on a path of violent retribution. Some torture scenes really made my eyes water, one involving a football pump and a guys ***** especially :O As a whole though the film is a good watch. 8/10

Watched letters from iwo jima yesterday, hands down the best film ive seen in a long time, 10/10

Maximum Overdirve (1986)

Its a Steven King Novel made into film, the story is about all machines in the world going crazy trying to kill humans, thats about it.
Simple story but the films strong point is seeing the main characters blow **** up, and the whole films sound track is AC DC, so if you wanna watch **** get blown up with AC DC music for 2 hours, this film is for you.

8.5/10
