Went and saw Kick-*** the other day.

Amazing film, so funny and the cast is amazing, Mark Strong is such a good bad guy, and Nick Cage does his usual monotone wierd acting that I love, and an 11 year old girl said the word '*****' and supposingly its ****** alot of people off. It's good for a fun film with some jokey Gore in it, and if you don't take it too seriously you should really find it one of the best films so far this year. 9/10

Zombieland

Basically, this is a mixture of comedy and Zombies, well no, its simpiler than that, Its a film about how many zombies you can kill and how you can kill them, with the cast going for Zombie kill of the week which is quite funny. Woody H is awesome in this, and really does look like a Zombie killing pshyco all the way through, and Bill Murray make a wicked Cameo half way through :) If you like a light hearted film in the same vein as Kick ***, you will love zombieland.

zombieland was out over a year ago in the states

I watched the godfather last night, best film ever made, only thing close to it is the shawshank redemption 10/10
Marlon Brando is fantastic

I haven't seen that, I will have a gander now.

To be honest, I don't think he was particualy great in the film, I think he was helped by having such a strong cast around him.

The 11 year old girl that played 'Hit Girl' seems a very compitent actor at her age, but look's alot like Macaulay Culkin, which is pretty off putting.

watching now, glad I didnt see it before I saw it, hes compelty different in the film, actually unrecognizable, I wouldnt have known it was him if id saw it on tv.

Kick-*** is defos worth goign to see though JP, great music, original humour for a comic book film, great action.

8.5/10

Iron man 2 is coming out on the 30th April, I was only moderately eager to see this film, but I then found out the whole soundtrack for the film is provided by ACDC.
the film is basically ACDC greatest hits.

Anyone ever seen Stephen Kings Maximum overdrive from 1986, the film was not the best but ACDC provided soundtrack to that, that made the film cool.

anyone seen jennifers body?? **** film only good thing about it is megan fox lol :P

Been looking forward to Iron Man 2 for months purely for that reason.

Watched a few recently;

Defendor - Started a little slow but managed to get through it and it's not an awful film 6/10.

Howl's Moving Castle
- Not my kind of film at all, never been an anime fan but quite enjoyed it - which surprised me: 6.5/10.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
- Pretty decent. Not sure it's worthy of the rating it has on IMDB, but still decent. 7/10

The Invention of Lying
- Typical Ricky Gervais film, i.e. Ricky Gervais playing a character who reminds you of...Ricky Gervais. Still it's decent enough to watch if you have nothing else to do. 5.5/10

The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus
- Bit hard to keep track of I thought but I was doing other things at the same time. Was fun to play 'spot when it's not Heath' though it was obvious. Decent watch, decent story, bit weird. 6.5/10

Changeling - Thought it was good when I first watched, and i'm sticking by that. 8/10.

Ghost Town - See "The Invention of Lying" ^ 5.5/10

shoot to thrill from back in black the official theme song

I can't wait for IM2.

Whiplash looks mazing! :)

Over the weekend i saw "how to train your Dragon" - is was soooooo good, not normally a fan of kids films but this was really good.

Saw The Ghost last night - was slow but ok.

Iron man 2 will be so good - can not wait.

The film i cant wait for is Dogs abd Cats 2. how good is that going to be.

also Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

Recently watched:

Taken - Third time I have seen and it's still pretty decent. Just love the fact Neeson pwns Paris. 7.5/10

Extraordinary Measures - Decent watch, nothing fantastic but enjoyable and a nice ending. 7/10.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs - Decent watch some funny bits and quite fun :D 7/10.

Also big thanks to Rosenrot for starting this thread, it's been a great success...shame they aren't around anymore to claim credit for it!
