The Prestige - Best film I have seen for a long time. Michael Caine Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Scarlett Johansson. Really interesting film which has so many twists and turns, you have to really concentrate to keep track of what's going on. Film about 2 magicians with a great rivalry, highly recommended! 9/10
 
I have watched a few films recently

Gran Torino - A great story, even if it was a bit predictable. Eastwood still looks like he could destroy you at his age, good ending too. 8/10

Dragonball Evolution - A mockery of the anime, poor casting and horrible setting. yet they are making another one. 3/10

Nightmare on Elm St. 2010 Watchable, few jumpy bits, more due to cinema surround sound. Nothing on the original. 5/10

The Back Up Plan Even the girl who dragged me along to this thought it was terrible, not worth typing about 2/10 It had a few Bra and Pants shots of J-Lo

I wasnt so sure...was a tad predictable...and quite creepy :)

Mary and Max is definitely worth a watch. Animated film, bit different, decent story. 8/10 :wub:

Also watched Avatar (Predictable, overhyped pile of tosh 6/10) and Teeth (films as ridiculously awful as you would think after hearing the synopsis 3/10).

Seen Rocky Balboa Recently, similar to the fist one, but no interesting and every part of the film was not as good as any other Rocky Moments

Today in work I watched Evil Dead 3 - Army of Darkness, my favorite out of the trilogy because its hilarious. Story line is stupid but thats one of the things that makes this film special.

watched shawshank redemption in english a few weeks ago and thought it was a brilliant film one of the best ive seen 10/10
 
The Wrestler - 7/10

Part was taylor made for Mikey Rourke. Marisa Tomei is gorjus and the soundtrack was class. Well worth a watch.
 
watched daddy day care yesterday for like the 100th time lol allways enjoy watching it even though it is more of a kiddies film 7/10
 
Recently watched:

Hot Tub Time Machine - Better than expected, still not brilliant but not as ***** as you would imagine. A few laughs in it, though a couple are shown in the trailer - as is the norm with this type of movie. 6/10 (expected it to be of little man levels of shittyness).

Date Night - Again, better than expected. Pretty funny in places, big fan of Steve ^^). Worth a watch. 6.5/10.
 
Street Dance 3D: I cannot slate this film enough it was just awful, just awful, The lead actress is jsut abysmal and the storyline is just stupid and pointless
 
Last few films i've watched are;

How To Train Your Dragon - 8/10 LOVED that film! oomgg the dragons are so cute and has some decent funny bits, i would definitely watch it again.

Pride and Prejudice (2005) - 7/10 Nice romantic film which i've watched countless of times and never get sick of it.

*** And The City 2 - 8/10 Love the shows, and the second film is even better than the first i think..went on abit TOO long though and started to get fidgety at the end but i throughly enjoyed it.

Avatar 7/10 - I'm suprised i actually enjoyed the film given all the hype that surrounded it, i hate it when that happens to films, usually kills the enjoyment out of it like the Hangover (quite possibly one of the worst films ever) ...but anyway i quite enjoyed all the special effects etc but again went on TOO long. I'm just glad i watched this at home rather than at the cinemas, couldn't have sat for that long otherwise!
 
17 Again - Changed my opinion about Zac Efron completely even though a movie doesn't reflect what a person is really like. Thought it was a good watch and had a decent storyline unlike most of the typical films that are out now. Not a definate 'must see' but worth a regarde if you find yourself in one night.

Watched recently:

Get Smart - Wasn't awful, wasn't great. Like Steve Carell and always seems to play a similar character. 6/10.

Three and Out - Pretty meh. A few laughs, nothing special but wasn't hyped up at all so didn't go in with any expectation. 5.5/10.
 
Shutter Island - **** me that film is a head **** and a half, watched it with no real clue to the plot at all, really dark vulgar nearly unwatchable storyline which suddenly smacks you around the head with a glimpse of light. 9/10 (Would of been 10/10 had it not had a better selection of music, final seen was a bit **** because of it)

Severance - Been trying to see this film for a while, despite such a horiffic story line it lightens it up with the most amusing things. Doubt id want to see it again though, not a lot happens that you could of missed in the first viewing. 8/10

Sommers Town - Not a bad film, Meadows has got to be one of my fav directors. Bit gritty and stereotypical in places but really random funny scenes, had to restrain myself in parts. Ending seemed a bit rushed and dont really understand why a hot french woman would want to do with a polish and a english kid (who likes to cross dress)
A pleasant drama 7.5/10

Also recently saw avatar, far to long, main focus is on special effects and making everything look 'amazing' but the story is long-winded, quite cheesy and mediocre in places. A film for those who are easily impressed. 6/10
 
Recently saw Robin Hood.
Worst film ive seen in a long time a total 2hour yawnfest :S
