The Descent - A boring feminist slasher film, I can't give it a number, so I'll put =3/10

Bandlands - 6/10
Interesting film but was a bit uneventfull. Alot of similarities between this and True Romance. True Romance was pretty much a remake with a bit more action. Tarrantino at his best pawning others ideas of as his own.

Bought two new films today and im going to watch one tonight.
If anyone has seen any of them and tell me which to watch would be appreciated.

The Book of Eli - Starring Denzel Washington

The Road - Starring Viggo Mortensen.

Thanks.

The remake or original ? Al Pacino's is the remake.

If it is the remake you should definately watch the original. It's just that much better.

Worst film iv'e ever seen.....Goal 3. About 30 seconds of actual football footage in the entire film, and the star of the show breaks his arm before the tournament and doesnt play oO)

Just Shocking

Both different films, but both decent. I'd watch Book of Eli first (thought that was slightly better). You watched either yet?

Best of the Best - 7/10

Good martial arts film. Sort of Van Damme esc without Van Damme. A team of US kickboxers train to face the 'evil' Korea team. Ironicly the US team lead by Korean American Tommy Lee whos brother was killed in the ring by the Korean Dae Han and is set to face his rival for his shot at redemption. Funnily enough the actors playing the two rivals are real life brothers.

Really enjoyed that film, thought the ending was a bit cheesey though. Overall it was pretty good and worth a watch for people who like that sort of thing.

Watched one last night.

The Book of Eli: (IMDB)

Thought it was a good watch, enjoyed it throughout, and not at any point did i feel it was being dragged out. Denzel Washington being the lead role, played Eli, who is the beholder of the last Bible after a worldiwde flash casuing death throughout the world. His task is to travel West with the book. Thought it was a good film and definately reccommend watching it if you haven't already.

7/10

Watched;

American Pyscho for the first time the other night. Decent watch, love a bit of Bale. 7/10.

Unthinkable tonight, again decent film. Good performances by Jackson and Sheen, 7/10.

Philistine! American Psycho is a masterpiece of a film! 10/10! However, the book is better, as it always is, but it's a very good adaptation.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space - 9/10
This film attempts to answer the often asked question "are clowns actually just human depictions of aliens? And are circuses actually based on their spaceships? And popcorn and candyfloss based on weapons?" Memorable scenes like humans in candyfloss coccoons having their blood drained by the klowns with curly straws and klownz firing popcorn deathrays are truly unforgettable!

The Big Hit - 7/10

Decent enough action film. Doesnt take itself too seriously but some good shootouts. Worth a watch to help pass an hour and a half.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - Really enjoyed this film, it wasn't as good as the original book and sometimes i felt as though they had rushed through it, but overall i found it very enjoyable to watch and i loved all the action scenes they were brilliant, especially the fight at the end. 8/10

Annapolis - 6/10
Seen this ages ago and remember thinking 6/10 but forgot to rate it then caught the end the other night and it reminded me but will watch it again some time and re rate it as I dont remember much.

Moon - 8/10
Had never heard of this film saw it on Sky Premiere but dont remember it being in the pics. Great performance by Sam Rockwell. Good thriller wont say too much about it as I knew nothing about it when I watched it and some films are better when you expect little from them.

SHUTTER ISLAND. Not what you could call a typical Martin Scorsese film, nevertheless this was enjoyable and full of strange twists right up until the end. Id sort of guessed the main twist but that was mainly because i had seen a similar thing in an episode of the Twilight Zone. The main story plot is about a US Marshall (Leonardo DiCaprio) who goes to a mysterious lunatic asylum on Shutter Island in search for an escaped patient. Very enjoyable film. 8/10

Couldn't stand that film. Couldn't particularly put my finger on why but just didn't like.

Thought it was ok, not sure I gave it as high as 8 as like you I had guessed the twist. Bit creepy it was also.

Recently seen:

Eclipse - Semi decent. Not as good as Twilight but better than New Moon. Decentish fight scene. All a little predictable though. 6/10

Greenberg - New Stiller film, Meh film, annoyingly shot. Bit of **** though. 5/10

The A-Team - Pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Decent action, semi decent story oO). 6.5-7/10.

I saw this movie Mamaduke which had extremely low rating on IMDB, this is why i saw it, just to see how bad it is... And guess what?? Its not so bad!!! Its much better than many stupid films like "Scary Movie", its for kids... It should have at least 6.0 rating!!!!

Yeah, Shutter Island is an amazing film, i went to see Toy Story 3 today <), it was actually quite good, you cant beat die hard though
