Watched Repo Men the other day ( Jude Law & Forest Whitaker)

Enjoyed it more than i thought i would. Set in the near future when artificial organs can be bought on credit, it revolves around a man who struggles to make the payments on a heart he has purchased. He must therefore go on the run before his said ticker is repossessed. Decent with a good twist at the end. 7/10

Watched Mega Piranha last night, not to be mistaken with Piranha 3D which ive not seen.

Worst film ever made. Acting terrible, Special Effects pathetic, Storyline a total joke. It stank so bad its not true. 0/10 and it was lucky to get that.

Though Knight and Day was good, and Tom Cruise wasn't irritating for once.

Also, who is rosenrot?

Scott Pilgrim vs the World: 8/10. Saw it on Weds, was pretty good, some of the best jokes/parts were ruined by showing them in the trailer. Apart from that, it was a really good film.

Expendables: 7/10. Great cast, **** storyline. It's just a bog standard action film story line, pretty one dimentional, but the film isn't about the storyline, but about the cast, imo.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World - 8/10. Went to see this last night with my friend and i really enjoyed it, i never usually like these sort of films but this made me laugh quite a few times throughout, and i also really enjoyed the music.

Spirited Away - 9/10. Finally watched this film after Sean had nagged me quite a few times to watch it and i throughly enjoyed it. Those sootballs are so super cute. hahaha :D

Knight and Day - 6/10. Only good bits were in the trailer tbh. It was an ok film, don't really like stuff with Tom Cruise in it but it was watchable.

Salt - 7/10. Great film to watch, lots of action and a few twists near the end. Would definitely watch again, however i thought the ending was abit ****. Overall good film to watch.

The Crazies - 5/10. Wasn't that impressed with the film to be honest, i hate horror films so this scared me abit but i've seen better horror films.

Mary and Max 6/10 - Watched this two nights ago and i wasn't that impressed with it. It was an ok film to watch, abit dark at times but it's not something i'd watch again.

Mary and Max on a par with Knight and Day and only 1 above The Crazies. Sigh, you taste in movie's often sucks.

Sorry you give me an impression that Mary and Max was totally awesome when it just clearly isn't. :P

Compared to the Crazies and Knight and Day, it's totally awesome.

It's a great film. 8/10 at least.

Four Lions: Watched it a couple of weeks back, didn't like it at all, thought it was a ridiculous movie plot and incredibly overrated.
The Expendables: Really enjoyed it in parts, could of been so much better though, don't see why Swartzeneggar was in it and Stallone's melting face was distracting.

Vantage Point - Dull, repetitive and makes you want to pull your eyes out :S
****** - 9/10

Get Him to the Greek - 6/10 - 6/10 is my standard, average film rating. Few slightly humerous bits but slightly dissapointed that they didnt really mention anything from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Such as the fact the young guy was creeping round Russell Brand for all of the last film, but in this one it was like that never happened. Plus there were other characters from FSM that just appeared to be new characters.

Rita, Sue and Bob too! - 5/10 - meh, boring but some some scenes of a sexual nature.

Went to see Resident Evil on Monday in 3D. Didn't really want to see it but actually enjoyed it, a few jumpy parts, a guy infront got a fright and flung his money everywhere and was crawling about looking for it. 8/10.

Batman Forever - 7/10. First time i've watched this film and i quite enjoyed it :) It's not my favourite Batman film but i like Jim Carrey as the Riddler. Van Kilmer does my head in though as Batman, sigh! Give me George Clooney or Christian Bale as Batman any day though!

Dog Soldiers! Love this film
9/10. Proper British film, Werewolves, Geordies, football puns and violence

Monsters: 7/10

Watched this recently and apparently it was done on a $15,000 budget which is impressive considering the locations and special effects used.

Ok so only film i've watched recently is Star Trek. I must say i've never watched the series before but i found the film quite enjoyable and funny to watch so therefore i give it a 7/10.

Pursuit of Happiness (Will Smith) good film, emotional. 8/10

2001: A space odyssey. Stan Kubrick film, somehow I've never seen it before.Excellently different film. 8/10.

Expendables was the last film I saw on the cinema 9/10 - Amazing fight scenes and a few funny parts.

Last Few Movies

Sleepaway Camp (1983) - Teens at summer camp who are mean to a very very shy girl, then random killings across the camp take place, typical set up for another 80s slasher film.
This film could be called, "Teens in the 80s can be cruel" there are plenty of funny moments with all the practical jokes that go on, and the bullying which is cool.
Worth checking out despite the lack of gore its interesting enough

7/10

The Birds (1963)

Listen carefully to the soundtrack to Hitch's excellent film. There isn't any music in this film. Over the opening credits we hear birds...and more birds. Nothing scary about that, right? Okay. Now watch the film until the end. Do me a favor, okay? Play the opening credits once more. I rest my case. Alfred Hitchcock, was a genius! Personally, I think this film is better than PSYCHO, but that's merely a personal preference. Tippi Hedron is terrific as the lead (and Hot) who may or may not have caused all of this in the first place. Hitchcock revels in this sort of stuff, but the best plot device of all was never explaining exactly WHY all of those birds were attacking. This film is a masterpiece!

9/10

The Creepshow (1982)

A selection of short horror stories, with some all star cast including Leslie Nieslon (Naked Gun) and Ted Danson (Cheers,Becker).
Some Stories are hit and miss but because each story is 20 or so minutes long it don't matter.

6/10

Clyclops (1958)

A search party goes into the jungles of Mexico to find a missing test pilot. What they find is a gigantic, one-eyed, mutated monster who became as such through a dose of radioactivity.
What you get then is about 40 minutes of Cyclops screaming (yeah that's all he really does) and some epic monsters, I say epic because they are actually friendly looking iguana's that have been made to look large and are given epic music and so and monster sound effects when on screen.
This film was very low budget but has its charm

5/10

Silient Night Deadly Night (1984)

A guy who has been haunted and tormented by images of his parents being butchered by a killer in a Santa Claus suit dons a Santa suit himself to get revenge on all the naughty people who have caused him to suffer. His main target is a mother superior at a church who raised him and was unusually cruel to him
A bad movie but very watchable

6/10
