Fargo: 9/10

Classic movie by the Coen Brothers and one of my favourite movies, brilliant story ..

The Hole,

I found it quite scary, first horror-like film I've saw at pics. But if your 18 a proper heavyweight horror would be better!
6/10

The Exocist 2 (1977)

This film made me think I must of been on LSD, from the randomness of it, its not scary because you have no clue what the **** is going on, or what it has to do with the first film ????
Watch this disturbing trailer to the random **** you get in this film
YouTube - The Exorcist 2 Trailer HD
oh rating of 5/10 its still interesting enough to watch

Just watched Last house on the Left, the more recent version.

Classed as a Horror by sky movies, it was about as scary as bambi.

and anyway, it needed more rape.

Night Of The Creeps (1986)

When aliens let a virus drop to earth it turns people into zombies that must be stopped! This movie starts slow but gets better, terrible acting, lots of good humour and gore.
I noticed some things in this film that must have influenced others, for example the famous lawnmower seen from Peter Jacksons "Braindead" most have been influenced by this film. Also on Resident Evil games were you have to burn Zombies after shooting them....... influence must have come from this film.

A great 80s zombie film full of nostalgia 7/10

Bit off topic, didn't want to start a fresh thread
but has anyone seen Champion - the Danny Trejo movie ? & Resurrecting the Champ with Samuel L Jackson

I've heard Champion is like a Danny Trejo biopic type of movie and I know Resurrecting the champ is based on Bob Satterfield the boxer... just wondered if anyone had happen to see any of these and could give me there opinion...

The hig Watches a movie from this decade for once.....

Vampires Suck (2010)

Its another spoof movie with a 3.3 rating on IMDB, but the rating is unfair and shows that IMBD users hate all spoofs, I was really took back by how good it was.
I recommend you watch all the Twilight movies before watching this other wise most the refernces wont make any sense.
The actress (Jenn Proske) who plays Bekka (Bella) is PERFECT, she acts just like Bella all her mannerisms and nervous twitches and even her breathing is exactly like Bella, she deserves an award for that performance which made the movie a success.
Watch it for what is, its a spoof of Twilight that does not take itself to serious, and you shouldn't even, weather you like Twilight or night, relax and enjoy the first great spoof film since Scary Movie.
7/10

The Other Guys:

Should have been great, but they killed off Samuel L. Jackson, and then The Rock in the first 10mins!

The only good actors left were Will Ferrel and Eva Mendes :P

Rob Riggle, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan ???

Just watched Invention of Lying on sky movies and while it is cheesy and **** generally, the way it portrays stuff is actually great and really clever. The best explanation of religion I've heard to date, and a real eye-opener to how shallow the world really is. Anyway I'd give it a generous 8/10 because it's a real feel good film, although i strongly detest Ricky Gervais.

Dawn of the Dead [1978] 8/10

Brilliant movie for it's time and alot better than the remake of 2004

Probably be laughed at but I've recently seen Ramona and Beezus.Quite good, I'll give it a 7/10 IMO.

Recently watched:

[Rec]
- Spanish zombie type horror, think they made a remake called Quarantine.. Was alright bit overhyped in my opinion and the reporter girl was incredibly annoying ....6/10

Shutter -
(original Asian version) - Brilliant, really enjoyed this, not watched many Asian horrors as of yet and this is the best I've seen so far.... 9/10...

Just saw The Experiment. Ace watch, pretty disturbing.

Watched a far few since my last post, and reviving the thread.

Se7en
Been meaning to watch this for a while as Morgan Freeman makes me want to touch myself. Great watch. 8/10.

A Clockwork Orange
Too much of a cult film for me, didn't get into it and don't see the hype. Just creepy and a bit ****. 6/10.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Again a film i've been meaning to watch for some time. Have tried watching the Meaning of life before but didn't get into it. This was ok, some fairly funny parts. 7/10.

Fight Club
Another great film, attempted to watch it several times some years back but managed it one weekend. 8/10.

The Usual Suspects

Excellent film, watch it. 8/10.

Requiem for a Dream
It wasn't bad, bit different and interesting. 7/10.

Despicable Me

Watched this because Steve Carell pwns. Was a decent watch, some funny parts and a nice story to go with it. 7/10.

Inception
Took a couple of attempts to get through it, it's a long one. Glad I did as it's a decent film. Slightly overrated on IMDB. 8/10.
