I am interested too. What Southern Europe teams can you suggest? Or someone else?

Well apart from Red Star a good shout is their biggest Serbian rivals, Partizan. If you'd rather have a less successful, but still decent club, Vojvodina are that team. It's the perfect team that could take down Red Star and Partizan. Dinamo Zagreb is also a strong team to manage, they're the top team in Croatia. Hajduk Split and Rijeka are also good Croatian teams. And I never managed in Hungary, but I know that Debrecen are a quality side in real life and it would be interesting to take them on top of Europe. That's for the south. In central/eastern Europe my best recommendation is Polonia Warszawa from Poland, if you want to manage a club which will fight off the current holders of the Polish throne, Legia Warszawa, Wisla Krakow and Lech Poznan. Also there are a few quality clubs in Ukraine. The main are Shakhtar Donetsk (they have money) and Dynamo Kyiv (they rather have tradition). There are also a few clubs lurking around third spot: Chornomorets, Dnipro and Metalist.

So these are pretty much my recommendations. The Polish league is similar to the English and Italian ones where more clubs compete for the title and the Ukrainian and Serbian leagues are rather similar to the Spanish where there are 2 top teams while the others fight for the 3rd spot. Though I can't compare the Hungarian and Croatian leagues to someone. So my point is, why not make one of these leagues a league where there is only one club that is ruling... your club... :)

P.s: After you make your decision, do tell me. I'd like to know what kind of a choice you made :)

Honestly, I don't even know what to pick lol. All clubs look appealing to me. Also, just checked out Austrian and Belgium leagues. Competition there so intense, which I really like. If you have any info/advice about those two leagues, I would be really pleased, thanks!

Ah to be honest I never managed in either country, so there is no way I could tell you stuff like financial status, board support etc. But from what I know of common knowledge is that in Austria, Sturm Graz and Salzburg are currently the greatest clubs in the country. Also as an info plus me and my mates once played some 2003 (I think) penalty shoot-out flash game (just for fun lol) and we randomly chose Rapid Wien. Ever since then every time we see Rapid Wien playing we root for them lol :D But from what I read, they are the most popular team in Austria and they hold the record for most titles in Austria (32). So yeah, if I was managing in Austria I'd choose them, maybe just for the fun we had with the penalty shoot-out lol. You know... I think next time I'll start playing with them :D So to sum up, Sturm Graz and Salzburg are the top clubs and Rapid Wien is a popular club which with a proper guidance can overtake both teams again.

As for Belgium, the greatest and most traditional clubs are Anderlecht and Standarg Liege. Gent and Brugge are clubs that are circling around third and fourth place and GenK is a club which rose from the depths and won the league last season. You should note that Belgium recently produced high-quality wonderkids such as Romelu Lukaku (who came from Anderlecht), Steven Defour (S. Liege), Axel Witsel (S. Liege) and most notably Eden Hazard (from some 2nd league club). And after you take into consideration that Vermaelen and Kompany are from Belgium, I expect the whole country to have a high percentage of producing wonderkids (though I am only guessing based on the players who came out of the country).

Not sure I'd describe the US as exotic lol. Could always manage Anzhi of Russia. Haven't heard of anyone managing them so far would be a decent challenge to see how long it takes to dominate Europe. not sure how good the league would be though

Why not try managing a nation which sucks in real life? Many people try San Marino, there's a guy who manages Cook Islands, so why not lead a country like Luxemburg, Lichtenstein, Andorra...? Or just take a look at the FIFA Ranking list and choose off your fav...
