Hi i need help picking a team to go with i wud like a semi big budget (£10 mill to £20mill +) any leauge and i wud like a team which is good enough team to go for a title.

Thanks

Matt

Tottenham would be prefect for this I feel. They a team on the up, have great players. They have a budget of 12-16 mil.

Another team would be Newcastle. Doing really well irl and have some decent players on fm. Also with a decent budget of 10-12mil.

Finally Aston Villa would be another good choice. They've had a slump irl of late, but with a transfer budget of 7-12mil on fm you could bring the good days back to the midland.

Hope this helps. :)

I am looking for a new team to start a save with that will be both challenging and captivating. Ideally they should have a few wonder kids as well :)

you could try malaga as they are rich and could afford to expand the youth academy etc

I have a few long term saves atm, Napoli,Blackpool and Newcastle but I'm looking for a new challenge. I'd like a good starting budget and a competitive league.

Any Recommendations?

Bolton? They have a very small budget and a very average squad. If you want a challenge I'd go for them

Why not try France? Olimpique Lyon, Marseille, Lille...

Yeah I think I might give Marseille a go.

They have some good players there already to build from and with PSG/Lyon/Lille at the top it won't be the easiest of leagues to win.

In England, have a look at Tottenham (12m), Newcastle (8m) and Aston Villa (7.7m).

In Spain, best bet is to go with Malaga (between 18m-25m). Valencia, Sevilla, and Atletico Madrid all have around 5m-6m so not sure if that is enough for you.

In Germany, I'd go with Wolfsburg, they're not considered one of the greatest clubs in the Bundesliga but at the same time they're good enough for you to win the Bundesliga and have a transfer budjet of about 10.5m-15.25m depending on your expectations for the season.

In Italy, try Napoli (7.5m-11.5m).

Germany -> Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen
Switzerland (if you consider it more central Europe than western :P) -> Young Boys, FC Sion
Austria -> Rapid Wien (Vienna), Sturm Graz, Austria Wien (Vienna), SV Ried, Red Bull Salzburg

I don't much about other central european leagues :P a little about czech etc but never played in that league in FM

I like the idea of Polonia Warszawa. But i think i'm going to Red Star Belgrade.

But Serbia is in Southern Europe mate. If you asked me about teams in Southern Europe I would have had completely different suggestions :) (though Red Star would definitely be one of them)

Yes, my mistake.

In fact, i thought serbia could be considered central, but that's ok.

Looking for a team I can build on but they aren't already to established. A team which I can essentially start building myself.

I am interested too. What Southern Europe teams can you suggest? Or someone else?
