FM-BASE have replaced Reading in the Premier League they will start off with a transfer budget of £200m and a wage budget of £2m a week.

They will start off with no players or staff so you need to build a squad capable of competing in the premier league with your £200m budget.

Instructions

save to: user/documents/sports interactive/football manager 2013/editor data

start a new game.

load up just the premier league with a large database (10,000).

select FM-BASE as your team.

Set Top-Half Finish (£200m) as your season goal.

Do not buy any players using monthly installments.

At the end of each season please post the following screenshots:

Full League Table
Any Cup Successes
Your Season Transfers
Your Season Best XI
Your Overall Best XI (Season 2 onwards)

Scoring

Every League Point won = 1pt per point won.
Goal Difference = i.e if your final GD is +15 you get 15 points, if your final GD is -6 you lose 6 points.

English Premier Division:
Winner = 185 points
2nd place = 165 points
3rd place = 145 points
4th place = 125 points
5th place = 105 points
6th place = 90 points
7th place = 75 points
8th place = 60 points
9th place = 45 points
10th place = 30 points
Manager of the year 1st place = 100 points
Manager of the year 2nd place = 75 points
Manager of the year 3rd place = 50 points

English Community Shield
Winner = 90 points
Runner-up = 45 points

English League Cup
Winner = 110 points
Runner-up = 60 points
Semi-Finalist = 30 points

English FA Cup
Winner = 150 points
Runner-up = 100 points
Semi-Finalist = 50 points
Quarter-Finalist = 25 points

European Champions Cup
Winner = 200 points
Runner-up = 150 points
Semi-Finalist = 100 points
Quarter-Finalist = 50 points
Last 16 = 25 points

EURO Cup
Winner = 160 points
Runner-up = 100 points
Semi-Finalist = 50 points
Quarter-Finalist = 25 points

European Super Cup
Winner = 140 points
Runner-up = 70 points

Club World Championship
Winner = 140 points
Runner-up = 70 points

Well, you start without any players at all. If a good player costs between 10-20 mill, thats only between 10-20 players apart form the free ones. Add to that a team that wont be gelled until December, many signings wont speak English and its a really hard challenge.
 
Will it overwrite club logo packs? Because I tried a similar thing but its of putting managing Cais club when it has a reading logo by it. I will give it a shot. It looks quite difficult with the no monthly instalments. Can you do after league appearances etc.
 
Load up Just the premier League? That makes things even harder.
 
trying it now, don't suppose there will be a logo and kit addition soon?
 
ahhh yeah would of been worth a try before the patch ;) i'm getting my beloved alfie (Le Fondre) soon haha

Before the patch Le Fondre was absolute quality for me. not used him after the patch though
 
Just started this earlier and I'm currently 4th after 6 games, which isn't too bad considering my first 3 games were Man City , Spurs and Arsenal.

182 million spent

25 man squad, might try and add a couple of under 21s, reckon i can make top 6 or 7 first season but winning the league is unlikely, strong chance of one of the cups though, strikers are all capable of 10 goals + each, gaitan & belhanda bringing the assists 8)
