Seasons End
A long, fairly fruitful season has finally come to an end. We've had an amazing cup run so far and dominated the league. Can we finish it all off?
Essentially no, but in the cruelest circumstances possible. I decided just before the Chelsea match that I didnt have time for a full match report. Shame really, I suspect it would have been a great read. An end to end game that saw goals galore, we just missed out through a late Kurt Zouma goal. We'll back at Wembley again very soon for the FA Trophy final, but we'll reach this stage again, you mark my words.

A disappointing defeat to Ebbsfleet didn't really put the brakes on our season either, as we finished it largely how we started. Some late goals from Notthatbright saw him finish as our top league goal scorer for the season, with Silva the most assists, and Bond the highest average rating. More on that later.

We also had the FA Trophy final to deal with. A game against my beloved Lincoln saw a comfortable win for the completion of the double. Our team may have been ravaged by international call ups, but we still had enough to win out easily in a more enjoyable trip to Wembley.

So we go up as champions. No real surprises there. Poole join us, with player of the season Itamar Gissin inspiring the team. I'd expect a move for him in the off season. Kronos and Steo also feature highly in the motm rankings, as they both lead by example. Malaka goes up in the VNN.
Meanwhile, we are off to Millwall next season... marvellous.

No player stats these times, they'll be in the player screens next time around.
