Well as for my first impression , the game like everybody else said is a polished version of fm2010 although I think it would be easier to play this time as it seems ,If that's the case it could get pretty boring hope that won't happen. On another note I love the match engine very much way better this year and Also I haven't encountered the problem of missing shots and 1 on 1s ( Although that maybe I am playing with man city with tevez and torres upfront /sometimes ballotelli ..But still torres in his first 6 games scored 11 league goals.)

This might be the first FM where i bother to download a skin, everything looks so stale.

Plus its near enough FM10 with agents and a bit of a change in tactics :-/

I`m using 4-1-2-1-2 made for FM10 patch 10.2 , i fact , most of the tactics made for patch 10.2 are working ferfect in the new FM11

You cant say its too easy unless you use your own tactics. Of course it is going to be easy if you download a Mr Hough Tactic.

Start again using your own tactics, and then tell me it is too easy :)

Not sure if anyones already talked about this, but i havent downloaded the demo yet, waiting for full release . But was curious to know about this "playing night matches under the floodlights" feature. That any good?

Is it just me who still plays in 2D Classic?

I just feel I can see where my players are better on the pitch. Might be a bit old school but i just dont like the 3D no matter how fancy :S

Your not alone my friend. 2D loyal, prefer it to 3D.

Really cannot get into this game, I highly doubt I'm buying this.

If I'm working on a tactic, then yeah, but apart from that no, I prefer 3D now.

Yeah I haven't been able to 'get into' the demo. But I can put that down to knowing that I'm only going to be able to play half a season. I'm still pumped for release though and am liking the new ME and all the additions this year.

I'm just not getting a buzz off it at all, doesn't seem worth another £30 to me.

I'm having the same problem as Max and Toddzy, just can't get into it after the initial excitement I had. Big let down.

Yeah playing in 2D makes it easier to actually see what is going wrong...or right!! :)

Hey I like it, as a Newcastle fan, it's pleased me as our best prospects (Carroll, Ranger, Vuckic, Gosling, Krul) are actually good prospects, and our best players (Gutierrez, Coloccini, Nolan, Enrique) are actually good players. Also, the new contract negotiation system, involving agent fees etc. makes the game a lot more realistic, especially how a players demands far too much at the beginning and are willing to accept below what they wanted, which wasn't usually the case in previous FMs unless you gave them a HOOOJ MASSIF singing on fee. I can understand that there are one or two dissappointments, especially during a match, however these always appear in demos and are eradicated in the full-game, which of course isn't free, but saying as I manage to play a football manager game for about 150 hours of my life every year, then it's worth it for me :) I know you will buy it Nathan, and then love it :)

I don't know if anyone talked about it already, but I find the squad page very uncomfortable. I hope it will be possible to split it in two colums in the finished game, but really, this the only annoying thing about the demo to me. Not practical at all to see all your players. Really wish they will put back the "position" choice in the game.

The squad page is exactly the same isn't it, and by "position" choice do you mean where you can organise your squad screen in position order, and the thing about two columns...how will that make it easier? :)
