Your right about that man. There comes a time where your hobby needs to be put aside unfortunately. But that's life we live in. :D But dont think i will abandon you guys just yet. ;) Im as excited to know what happens next as you. hehe.

So for a special start to the 2012/2013, here is a double update post. First up is August followed by September...maybe even an October post to follow later today if nothing comes up. It is Saturday, plenty of football to watch later in the day and a Beach Soccer Intercontinental Finals to attend (maybe) later tonight. :D Should be a great day ahead.

August Updates:
nottinghamforest.png

First significant news of the month came from the Nottingham Forest camp when they announced the re-signing of their young prospect, Andrew Page, to a new 2-year deal. Page made 38 appearances first-team last year scoring 2 goals.
leciestercity.png

It was Leicester City's turn to feel the wrath of Tottenham Spurs who have been linked with everyone and anyone. This time, Spurs were after Leicester's Gem, James Beadle. Talks in the team say that Leicester will ask a minimum fee of $5,000,000 to even become interested with talks. As the new started gathering heat, Tottenham have now announced that they withdrew their bid for the young player. No explanation was given.

After 1 year of signing Danny, Portuguese Attacking Midfielder, from Zenit for $30,000,000, Manchester City decided to offload Danny to Aston Villa for $22,000,000. Reason are unclear and it seems that the deal was made in the final minutes of the Transfer Window. Whats even more stagering is the fact they have loaned out 7 of their players. Some names were a surprise to some of us...but thats what happens when you got cash to throw teams and no place to play them. Here are the list of players on loan away of Manchester City:
Stefan Savic: Signed 1 year ago from Partizan. Still 21 years of age and now playing Galatasaray.
Luca Scapuzzi: 21 year old striker. Honing his skills at Motherwell.
Michael Dawson: Sent to Cardiff with a loan fee of $2.5m.
Pablo Zabaleta: Loan to Fulham with a fee of $2.3m.
Adam Johnson: $1.9m loan fee to West Ham United.
Gareth Barry: Move to West Ham with a loan fee of $750k.
Joleon Lescott: Loan to Valencia for a fee of $1.2m.

As for Benji and Joe Williams...they haven't made any appearances as of yet.

With 9 games left in the MLS Season, mathematically, Sporting KS are still in the hunt for the playoffs. But so is everyone else. I dont see Sporting doing any better than the bottom 4 this year. And now they are on track to maybe secure a second 1st Pick in the upcoming Draft for the second year running. As for the 16 year olf Jose Gainza, he has been making a steady progress through out the season. Making 21 appearances, scoring 1 goal and assisting 2 others. All the while maintaining an average of 7.10 rating.
chivas.png

Only three games into the season, Bottomtoucher suffered a Groin Strain that will see him out of action until mid-September. Chivas, starting the season with 4 unbeaten matches, have suffered since the loss of Bottomtoucher. Chivas have lost 2 games and drawn 1 since his loss and now sit in 8th position. They will surely like to have back their ambitious and, as the Mexican pundits have described him lately, flamboyant midfielder.

September update in next post. As usual, the attributes and stats will be posted at the end/start of the calender year of 2012/2013. ;)

September Updates:
manchestercityu.png

Manchester City have signed Benji to a professional contract that will see him get 6.5k a week after impressing the team in his youth contract years. Manchester are expecting big things from the young lad and they seem to have put faith in him after this big contract signing.

Albert Molist Mora has been playing for Barcelona 'B' since the start of the season and has been turning heads with his performance. It seems that his discipline has been in check. Picking up only 1 yellow card in 5 games with only 7 fouls in those five games. Adding to his defensive stats, he has 1 assist and 1 Man of the Match performance. As for the Senior Barcelona team, they sit in 4th after 5 games and have already lost 1 game versus Sevilla by a scoreline of 4-2 at the Camp Nou. A surprise that will surely need to be rectified in the return leg. Other than that bump along the road, Barcelona have already scored 18 goals in those 5 games. The most of all La Liga teams. Not surprising.
benficafs.png

Morten Jonsson has made only 3 appearances for Braga in the early season. The 16 year old as been getting back in form slowly and will surely feature in the the first team line up more often as the matches start to pile up. As for his play, he has been nothing short of reliable. As for the league form of the team, they are now sitting in 2nd place after 6 matches. Conceding only 1 goal in those 6 matches. Coming in the 1st game of the season against Porto where they lost by a 0-1 scoreline. Since than, Braga have been on a 8 game unbeaten run in all competitions. They also beat Anorthosi, a Cyprus club, 6-0 in aggregate in the 4th Qualifying Round of the Europa League while drawing 1-1 with Standard Liege in the Europa's 1st match of the Group Stages.

Other News:
This i just realized now as i was looking through the Barcelona team info. Pep Guardiola is no longer the Barcelona Manager. Roberto Mancini is the new boss in town. Guardiola's 1 year contract ended and didn't want to renew it. He was happy finishing his career at Barcelona by winning the League Title and the Champions League. Not to forget the he leaves Barcelona after winning the Champions League 3 times, and winning the trophy 2 years running, both years against Manchester United. Also winning the La Liga 4 years running. It seemed that Guardiola had nothing more to prove with Barcelona. Where he goes from here is still a mystery.

With Roberto Mancini taking Guardiola's place in Barcelona, it's Guus Hiddink who takes his place in Manchester City. It seems that Guus has been doing a good job since replacing him at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City sit in 2nd place behind the unbeaten Chelsea, who have 6 wins in 6 games scoring a total of 20 goals. As for City, they have a record of 5 wins and 1 draw. Manchester City too have been unbeaten this year in ALL competition. So Guus Hiddink has them playing smart football as well has scoring tones of goals.

God damnit Leicester!!! Could of been in the prem now. Arseholes! Lol.

Last news on "skysports.com": Josep Guardiola says " i already regret to have left barcelona as i will not be able to coach Albert Molist Mora, i have seen him in action and he shows great future, that is a pity"

not really, but it confused me a little, since I (Jark Horak) will play for Benfica [soon] ;)

October Updates:
manchestercityu.png

Manchester City have started the season with an undefeated streak of 18 games in all competitions. Was Guss Hiddink the right answer to this ego filled team? It seems so. Benji has made 1 appearance all season while Joe Williams has been nothing but a bench warmer.
bragax.png

After an impressive first year with the team and giving more solid performances at the start of the 2012/2013 season, Braga have rewarded Morten Jonsson with a new 3-year professional contract worth $600 a week and which will see his wage rise 25% every year from here on end. Braga have been on a 13 game undefeated streak after losing their first game of the season against Porto. Yet in the Europa League Group Stages, they have drawn every single game this far. In Liga ZON Sagres, they sit in 2nd, 3 points behind Sporting and 2 points ahead of Porto after 8 matches played.
leciestercity.png

After a shaky start to the season, Leicester City have been on a run as of late winning 5 games in their 7 game undefeated streak to see them catapult up the league table into 4th place. 3 points behind the nPower Championship leaders, Middlesborough. James Beadle has been solid this far, with 7 appearances and contributing by creating 2 goals and an average rating of 7.41. Compared to last season, James is starting to start more often. A step forward in his career.
chivas.png

After coming back from injury, Bottomtoucher has been very solid and inspirational to the team's 4 game undefeated streak, albeit all draws. Chivas have been the king of the draws this year with a record of 3 wins, 9 draws and 3 losses. This record has placed them 12th in the league table. They will need to find a weapon to help them score more goals if they would want to challenge for the title next season. At the back, they are as solid as a rock, conceding only 9 goals all year.

Oh yes...2 more months until Jorak turns 18 and will be making his way to Portugal and go head to head with Morten Jonsson. Should be a good battle. ;)

November Updates:
manchestercityu.png

The talk of the year is how Manchester City is on a really hot streak. After the end of November, they are now on a 21 match undefeated streak and talks of an undefeated season is starting the boil up in the tabloids. Could this really happen or will a team find a way to stop this blue machine of death?

bragax.png

Braga have hit a small bump in Europa, losing 2-1 away to Lokomotiv Moscow. Domestically though, they have been on form winning their 3 games in November. 2 league games and 1 cup match won. A new power in Portugal is starting to emerge. But can they hold up?

Other News:
Portland Timbers beat DC United in the MLS Cup to win their first ever MLS Championship in their young history.
Wesley Sneijder is hotly tipped to win the World Player of the Year.

As you can see, November has been a slow month in football. But with December and January just around the corner, the 2012/2013 is about to heat up. More in-depth info to be posted in the next day or two about the players and their teams.

I think my presence in the City dressing room has spurred on the team to great form. Even if I dont play..... such an inspiration ;)

Leicester finally looking solid. Hopefully were up there come the end of the season.

Well im cheering for Leicester City to go up this season. Fingers crossed they do. We need Mr. Beadle in top flight soon. He has been doing well for a 2nd division team, and its about time he shows his magic against the top dogs.

Looking forward to the next update :) Hopefully Forest are doing well, or at least well enough for me to get some attention from bigger clubs ;)

P.S. 100th post of the thread haha :)
