April Updates:
chivas.png

Chivas have finished the season on a high and end up in 2nd place behind Tigres. With the season ending, they have now moved on to the Mexican League's Play-Offs. In the Quarter-Finals, they played their Away Leg vs Jaguares and drew 1-1 at the Estadio Victor Manuel Reyna. Their next encounter for the decisive meeting will take place in a few days time back in Guadalajara.
leciestercity.png

Seeing themselves getting so close to the relegation zone, it seems that Leicester City finally coming back to their past season's form as the go on a rampage against anyone that comes in their way. Winning 6 games and collecting a draw in their past 7 matches in the nPower Championship. Scoring 11 goals on the way and only conceding 1...which was a draw. In that 7 game span, James Beadle added another goal to his tally while collecting 3 more assists. Seems he is becoming the spine of the team at this time.
nottinghamforest.png

Nottingham have pulled themselves out of the relegation zone. But they are still in 21st place and need to keep up their latest form. Just realized that since the start of March, they have won 2 games, drew 8 games and lost 2. Now the 2 games they have won have come in the last 3 matches they played split by a loss. Im sure the fans would have rather seen these draws halved between wins and losses. So as it is now, Nottingham just can't find the killer instinct to end games...or strong enough to hold on to their lead, seeing how all the matches ended with at least one goal a piece. By the way, these 2 wins came against Norwich and Birmingham. Wile the 0-1 lose came at the hands of Sheffield United who are 5th in the league and possess the strong defense.
manchestercityu.png

Well well, it seems that Manchester City are back at it again. First off, Liverpool were pushed aside by the 'semi-mighty' Blues. Winning 3-0 in aggregate and breaking another record on their way by going 6 games without conceding a goal in Europa League. They will now take on Bordeaux in the Semi-Finals. In the EPL side of things, they have also started to up their game. Beating both Tottenham and Chelsea in consecutive weeks. Winning both their home games 4-0 and 2-0 respectively to push them up the table to 5th place and 5 points behind Spurs for the 4th and UEFA Champions League Qualifying spot. Their next EPL Match will be against the team that started their slump back in late December, Manchester United. The Manchester Derby hasn't much to offer, yet in United win the match, they will be only 1 point away from becoming English Champions for the 3rd year running and 21st league title in their history.
bragax.png

Braga have been on a slump lately, winning only 1 game in their last 6 matches while losing 3 and drawing 2. Seeing how they were so close to overtaking Sporting, fans will be disappointed with the loss of concentration and/or form.
benficafs.png

Taking Braga's 3rd place in the month of April is Benfica. After a horrible start to the season, they have now hit their form...a little late for their liking but they wont be ending the season the same way they started. It seems though they will battle it for 3rd place against Braga when they meet up in the final fixture of the league season in 2 weeks time. Should be some fire-works we hope. It seems that the arrival of Jarl Horak has inspired the team to new heights. The player himself takes lots of credit and for good reason. In 6 appearances, he has now got 5 goals. With an average goal/match ration of just under 1, he has been raising lots of eye-brows lately.

Other News:
- Super Mario is still at it again with Manchester City and is desperate for a move away from the club.
- Daniel Alves sets a new record for poor discipline by recording 19 yellow cards and 2 red cards for Barcelona this far into the season. With a few games left, this record might rise even further. If anyone is wondering where Molist Mora gets in indiscipline from, look no further.
- Barcelona are on a 15-game winning streak in all competition and half way into the Champions League Final as they beat Lille in their first leg 2-1 away from Camp Nou. Outscoring their opponents 45-13.
- Both Rivaldo and Shevchenko have called it quits on their illustrious careers in the past month. Rivaldo made 74 caps and 34 goals for his country while collecting 23 trophies and 3 awards, 1 of them being FIFA's Ballon d'Or. Shevchenko has a total of 103 caps and 46 goals for Ukraine. All at the same time winning 18 trophies and 5 personnel awards, 1 being FIFA's Ballon d'Or.

By the way, the boss already called me, he said Barcelona coach have plans for me in the first squad for next season... or was that a dream....

In the next update, which will be the end of the season for the players in Europe and Mexico, i will add a few info of the players like personality and what the media say about them.

May Updates:
chivas.png

Everyone congratulate Bottomtoucher and Chivas for winning the Clausura Mexican League! Chivas didn't make it easy for themselves. After drawing 1-1 vs Jaguares, they went back home and won it 2-0. For the Semi-Finals and Finals, they lost both their first away legs only for them to pull themselves back and win it in front of their home fans. In they finals, it created a match up against their fiercest rivals, Americas. 2 Clasico de Clasicos had the country on pause mode for two 90 minutes over a few days to see Chivas beat them win 2-1 on aggregate. Bottomtoucher becomes the first player from the camp of 'The Boss' to win a title.
manchestercityu.png

The city of Manchester will see three parades this year. Manchester United's EPL and FA Cup win. While Manchester City will parade their Europa League win after they beat Juventus 2-0 in the finals. Again, both Benji and Joe Williams wont get any medals as they didn't take part of the Europa League. They did play in the Carling Cup, which they lost 5-0 against Middlesborough in the replay match. As for the EPL, they went on an impressive run to see them jump over Tottenham in the table to 4th. So Manchester City will have an early start to the season as they will try to qualify for the Champions League.
bragax.png

After a VERY promising start to the season, Braga will now settle for Europa League football next season as their bad form at the end of the season saw them slip to 4th place. This season, saw Morten Jonsson make 22 appearance, score 1 goal and assisting 2 others. Even picking up a red card for his efforts.
benficafs.png

Benfia finished the season with an impressive run of form. Ending their league with an 8-game unbeaten run to propel them to 3rd place with only 3 point separating them from 2nd place Sporting. They even went on to beat Benfica 2-0 in the final match of the year. As for Jarl Horak...8 games played, 6 goals scored. So impressed were Benfica, that they have already sent him a new contract for Horak and The Boss to consider. Whether he stays is still in the air. The media and the fans, as well as the Benfica Manager, believe that its only a matter of time that he signs the papers.
nottinghamforest.png

Nottingham had their fate in their hands as the season came down to the final match of the season. All they needed was a draw to stay in nPower Championship...only to see them lose the match 2-0 away from home and will now make their way down to League 1. Many are now speculating what will happen to Andrew Page. After having a great season for The Reds, making 21 appearances, 2 goals and 4 assists. There are a few teams rumors wanting his services, but nothing concrete as of yet.
leciestercity.png

Higher up the ranking in nPower Championship, Leicester City ended their season in reasonable 9th place after being so low in the table. It's a shame not to see City in the Play-offs seeing how they were one of the dominating in 2011-2012. They showed glimps of that form at the end of this season to see them catapult up the table and even finished 4 points away from the play-offs. The team went on a 9 game unbeaten run in the League and during that span, lost only 1-0 vs Cheslea in the FA Cup Semi-Finals. Busiest of the bunch, James Beadle made 37 appearance for Leicester City, with 5 goals and 10 assists.
sportingkc.png

Sporting Kansas City have now slipped to 4th place in their Conference. Only 1 point out of the play-offs behind DC United. They do possess the strongest defense while their attack is not impressive at all. Scoring 6 goals while conceding only 7, which is the lowest in the MLS. Jose Gainza has started every game for Kansas City, 10 league games and 1 cup match.

Other News:
- Leicester City have sacked Sven Eriksson. Speculation on who will take his place are running high. All 4, Alan Pardew, Steve Mclaren, Hristo Stoichkov and Stale Solbakken, are being rumored to take the vacant spot.
- Barcelona end their season with an unbeaten run since the 10th of February 2013, in all competitions. Even beating their rivals Real Madrid in the Cope del Rey. Now they will go head to head against Manchester United in the Champions League Final for the 3rd year running.
- Will update the player's stats, attributes and a few fun facts about them in the next post. Watch the space lads.

get in there Bottomtoucher!!!!! First league title of any of The Boss' players....now lets see if that sexy secretary gets any phone calls from Europe about my availability!

About time he got sacked. Bring in Pardew to make me better!! :D Great updates there mate. :)

Well done Bottomtoucher!! now come to Barcelona if you want to keep winning tittles :D:D

June Updates:
benficafs.png

Starting with the first news of the month. Benfica are delighted to announce the signing of Jarl Horak to a new contract that will see him play for the team until the end of the 2016 season. Horak has been nothing short of impressive for his new club. Rewarding him with a 925$ weekly wage and a 180$ a goal bonus. They better get their check books ready.
1668c.png

Next on the list is...Molist Mora and his willingness to make more money. Feeling that he deserve a better wage and a guaranteed spot in the Senior Squad. After 2 years in the reserve teams, Mora doesn't see the reason why he can't start in the first team. In those 2 years, Molist Mora has been nothing short of a wall in the back for while collecting 13 yellow cards and 3 reds. Yet that hasn't stopped him from getting praises for the rest of the footballing world. With his contract to Barcelona ending this month, teams are lining up to sign him. And astonishing total of 17 teams wanting his services. Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Lazio topping the list of interested teams.
tottenhamiy.png

Tottenham have announced the tranfer of Andrew Page. Page cost Spurs an estimate of $2,000,000. After Nottingham got relegated, many saw Andrew Page moving forward to a bigger team. He did get some interest from QPR who were relegated to the Championship, but Page elected to join Spurs in the EPL to move his Career forward.
manchestercityu.png

Guus Hiddink retires from football after winning the Europa League with Manchester City. The speculation is high on who will take the vacant job. There are talks that Martin Jol might take the job seeing how he publicly admit that he would be honored to take care of the City Ship. This is not the only mega news to come from the Blue side of Manchester. They have now agreed a term with Boca Juniors and have become affiliates. The term is to give Manchester City first choice to sign a player by matching the asking price of the other team. From then on, the player in question will decide where to go. It will cost Manchester $238k per year.
sportingkc.png

On the playing from of the footballing world. Sporting KC are now in third place tied with Chicago who are second due to having better results vs Kansas. Kansas have upped their game since last year and Jose Gainza is set to come back into the team soon after being sidelined by a Sports Hernia that will see him miss a maximum of 4 weeks. The team has held up quite nicely without his presence.
chivas.png

After winning the Clausura Championship, Chivas have now started to adjust their team to give them a strangle hold on the Apertura next season. They have agreed terms with Tigres for Pacheco who is another mid-fielder and many feel that with Bottomtoucher by his side, both will flourish and will hopefully create a great force to be reckoned with, not only in Mexican League, but in the Copa Libertadores as well.

Player Information:
So with all teams now on vacation mode, the board rooms have been busy with getting things ready for the new 2013-2014 season set to start in months time. So until the big boys get started again, i thought i would add some fun facts about some players as per Pinadiku's request.

Joe Williams: Born in Hereford, England, Joe is seen as a Volatile and Media Friendly in his young and short career. Even though not having many matches under his belt with Manchester City, he is still fairly optimistic about his future with the club. As for his personality, he is seen as being fairly ambitious young lad. His reputation has also grown from locally to nationally.
Andrew Page: Seen as level-headed by the media, he has been happy as of late seeing that he has moved to Tottenham this past month and has become vice-captain for the English U-19s National team. He is also said to be fairly ambitious and his reputation has grown nationally.
Jose Gainza: A proud USA U-21s National Team Captain, he is seen by the media as an evasive, volatile and confrontational type of character yet very loyal at the same time. Kansas City has also become one of his favored clubs and his reputation is now national.
Morten Jonsson: Enthusiastic about his future with Braga, Morten has become a Model Professional since his start of his career as well as being evasive to the media. He is also happy to be part of the Belgium U-21s setup.
Jarl Horak: Touted the next Ivica Olic, the promising young striker is happy and optimistic about his future with Benfica. He has become good friends with Dinko Jelicic, who is now the Croatian U-19s manager. Level-headed and he's reputation is national.
Reginald Bottomtoucher: After helping his team win the Clausura and becoming the first to win a title among 'The Boss' players, his reputation as grown greatly in North America. Seen as media-friendly, he has become known as the flamboyant midfielder in his short career.
Benji: Dubbed the next Michael Dawson by the media, he is also level headed. His teammates compare him to Vincent Kompany too. Not to shabby. The towering centre-back is fairly enthusiastic about his future with the team.
James Beadle: An ambitious promising midfielder who is not afraid to speak whats on his mind. One feels that if he is able to land a contract with one of the big teams, his reputation could easily grow further than just regional.
Albert Molist Mora: Dubbed the new Francisco Pavon of Levante, Molist Mora is a very promosing centre-back who is now without a contract and attracting lots of interest. His personality is said to be fairly profesional yet his loyalty to 'The Boss' is second to none. He is also seen as evasive to the media circus.

Other News:

- And now, for the player attributes. Here are all the screenshots of the players plus a excel picture of their stats for the 2012-2013 season. Dont forget lads that Jose Gainza is playing the new season so i put his last season's performance. By the way guys, i dont know why some of the attributes are now hidden. If someone could tell me how to get them to show again, it would be appreciated. Unless the only way is to scout them, which i can't, because im not part of the team. Anyway, here are the stats.

The finals then went into Penalty Shootout...France scored 5/5 to force England to score to stay alive...Guess who went up and missed the shot... YUP! Yours trully...Frank Lampard. I think he slipped, not sure though.

Now back to the present...

July Updates:

BARCELONA Win Champions League for the 3rd straight year after beating Manchester United 2-0. Both goals came from Messi. I know i was suppose to say it in the June Update, but i missed it. Forgive me.
tottenhamiy.png

Starting in London. Tottenham have announced the appointment of a new manager. David Moyes will take control this season. At the press conference, he assured the media that he prefers playing attractive football and its what he will encourage his players to do.
scaled.php

In a surprising move, Albert Molist Mora will now join Racing Santander of La Liga. Many didn't see this happening knowing that Valencia were after his services. With a $20k wage per week and a release clause of $48,000,000, Racing were serious about adding Molist Mora to their ranks and are willing to do what it takes to have him. For once Albert is happy with what he is getting and his dream to start in a Senior Squad has come true. Lets see what he can offer them this season. Contract expires in 2018 and will receive a 15% wage increase every season. Cha-Ching!
sportingkc.png

Sporting KC are slowly becoming a force in the MLS. They are now in 2nd place of the Eastern Conference with 34 points. They still dont score as much, but their defense haven't conceded nearly as much. 17 goals scored, 15 conceded (best in the league) with 10 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses. Jose has made 16 appearances for the team.
chivas.png

Chivas start their new season with a 2-1 win over Xolos. Bottomtoucher didn't play in the match. He did get a new deal that will sees his contract extended to 2016 and his wage raise to $6.75k per week.
leciestercity.png

With the season just around the corner, Leicester City are still without a manager. Speculations are high on who might take the job, but the Board are not waiting for the manager to arrive to start wheeling and dealing. They have brought in 6 new players into the team.
manchestercityu.png

Martin Jol will be the new Manchester City boss after Guus Hiddink had retired from football earlier in the summer. Martin has already started dealing away some players. He hasn't made any additions to the team though.

Just a quick question, do you guys think i should make updates 2 months at a time or keep the format im using now? I think the way it is now is just fine and gives the readers the finer details of what is happening in the FMBase Football World. For now though, ill stay with this format. :D

Greetings,

Not to be impolite or anything but I was wondering if you actually are playing as an agent in the game? I don't quite get it (sorry for being retarded >.<) and if so, can you teach/tell me how I can do that?

Cheers!
