MIDE
PSG have pulled all the strings to make sure Mide stayed at the club. Even Mide's 15-hour scoring drought was not enough to stop from PSG splashing $92,000,000 on a 5 year deal. At the age of only 22, Mide is already on a $325,000 / week wage. Many wonder if PSG are not ruining Mide's value of life. The wage alone will keep most teams away from attempting to call for a transfer.

OTB has gone from humble beginings to superstardom in a matter of years. Just 5 years ago, OTB was playing in the humble stadiums of Trinidad and Tobago. Now, he is being dealt for 10s of millions of dollars for his services. After an exceptional year at Napoli, OTB went on to join his idle Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund for a fee of $39,000,000. Subject to certain conditions, that fee could go up to a whopping $61,000,000.

TM decided to part ways with PSG and move to Turkey. He signed a contract with Basaksehir once his contract ended. Twigg said that he was looking for more first team football, which he wasnt getting at PSG.

Chelsea released Medmax after his contract ended in July. Charlton were quick to offer him a contract. If Medmax could help Charlton gain promotion to the Premier League, he could see his wage rise by 25%.
Lewie ROBERTS
Chelsea also decided to release Lewie in the summer. Following his old colleagues footsteps, he went on to sign for Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

Wiki's situation at Bournemouth isn't getting better. He was put on Transfer List, yet no one was willing to take on his $53,000 wage and the asking price of $32,000,000. Teams around the world have been watching closely to see if the situation would deteriorate. At the end of the transfer window, the asking price dropped to $20,000,000, but still no takers. He has gone on to make 2 appearances since the start of the new season. Scoring 1 goal in 2 sub appearances in the Europa League qualifiers. Is this the start of a new found relationship with Paul Clement?
Jeremy OUILLET-VAREILLE
Jeremy was able to help Augsburg gain promotion to the Bundesliga by finishing 2nd in the 2nd Division. He was rewarded with a 25% wage increase as well being named Vice-Captain of the club. There is also a Release Clause of $46,000,000 in his contract.
- WORLD CUP 2022 -
Belgium won the World Cup 2022 with Lukaku scoring an astonishing 12 goals in the tournament to help his country lift the trophy for the first time in their history. Portugal were the runners up for the second time running.
Jamaica were the only team to have qualified from the Caribbeans. They were able to make it past the first round. Mide went down injured during the second game. In the 1st knockout stage, Jamaica struggled with Mide. Losing 3-1 to England.

March 2023 Update
Wikiwiki / Bournemouth Saga
The season started with Wikiwiki stuck at Bournemouth. As the season dragged along, Wikiwiki and The Cherries got a long and Jamaican full back was given a new 4 year deal worth $12,000,000. Soon after the deal was announced though, Wikiwiki was sent to Fulham on loan for the rest of the season to give him some playing time. Just earlier, Wikiwiki spent a month on loan at Crystal Palace.
2022 CONCACAF Player of the Year
For the first time since 2019, Mide was not name player of the year. The honors went to Guillermo Ibarra of Schalke. Mide came in 3rd place behind his countryman and club teammate Jammy Dadger. Jammy had the best year of his life with PSG and many feel he was the catalyst to PSG's season and Jamaica's World Cup run with 19 assists in the year.

Odd-***** has been blazing the Bundesliga this far in the season. Already part of 4 team of the week teams and picking up 2 player of the week honors on the way. 3rd highest average rating the league, 9 goals and 3 assists, Notthatbright will be hoping to help Dortmund break the Bundesliga Title monopoly enjoyed by Bayern. He has also 3 goals and 1 assist in the champions league. Currently in the 1st Knockout Stage, Dortmund have lost their first math 2-1 against Monaco, they will hope to turn things around and win it away from home. Not an easy feat, Monaco are the Ligue 1 title holders and are 9 points ahead of PSG in the standings this year.

Medmax has been enjoying a good season spell at Charlton since his move from Chelsea. In 19 appearances, he has already scored 9 goals and assisted 3 others. We will still have to wait and see if he will be able to give Charlton a promotion to the Premier League.

He's an assisting machine. It is mental! I keep getting news how L. Blanc keeps praising Dadger... Mide doesnt get that.

With players at the age of 24-25 years old, they are about to hit their peak in few years time. Teams are starting to use their scouting knowledge and some players have their contracts coming to an end.

Time to talk about Wikiwiki. After going through a some what calm season, things have started to brew again in Bournemouth between player and manager. Less than 10 months after signing a new contract with The Cherries, he is back on the transfer list. 2 teams came knocking for his services, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton. Yet, Wikiwiki took the decision to decline both contract offers. Media speculation say the rejection was due to Appearance Bonus and Signing Fee.
Will Wikiwiki ever decide on a standard contract and finally play regular football? Or will he stay hard headed? Stay tuned...

Time to talk about Wikiwiki. After going through a some what calm season, things have started to brew again in Bournemouth between player and manager. Less than 10 months after signing a new contract with The Cherries, he is back on the transfer list. 2 teams came knocking for his services, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton. Yet, Wikiwiki took the decision to decline both contract offers. Media speculation say the rejection was due to Appearance Bonus and Signing Fee.
Will Wikiwiki ever decide on a standard contract and finally play regular football? Or will he stay hard headed? Stay tuned...

As you might have been reading, Mide has been dominating the footballing world the moment he landed on the shores of Europe. There were many who believed that no one will catch up to him... until OWN decided that he had other plans. Currently, both players are terrorizing defenses. Who is more the deadlier striker?

On the face of it all, it is easy to say that Mide is winning this battle by a land slide. Mide started his European career at an earlier age, gaining that important experience early and quick. He joined Sevilla, than Lyon and finally settling at PSG where his superstardom really took off. He has spent his last 6 season at PSG.
Odd-***** Notthatbright took a different route. His first 2 years were spent in his home country of Trinidad with Caledonia United, learning the ins and outs of football. Napoli snapped him up and was loaned out for the next 2, first at Genoa followed by Freiburg in the second year. His fourth season was played with Napoli. His skills caught the eyes of Dortmund scouts who ended up signing him. At Dortmund, he put his name on the map. One year later, his tour of Europe took another turn when he moved to Chelsea.

As you can see from the graph above, he total numbers are very similar between both players. Than again, some might say Mide has always been surrounded by players of higher quality. 6 out of 9 years were played with PSG. Odd-***** has joined his 6th club in 9 years. Having to adapt on an almost yearly basis.

When it comes to League play, again, they are very similar. Don't be miss lead about the big spike in 2017-2018 season for Odd *****, that season was during his early days at Caledonia United when he tore up the T&T League and got noticed by Napoli. Other than that, Mide has been consistently out performing Notthatbright.

Here, is where Notthatbright has shown his true colors. While Mide has played in European's most prestigious tournament more often, his Goal/Appearance record doesn't match up with his League and International goal scoring rate. Odd-***** on the other hand has been on target the moment her got his chance. Many believe it to be the reason for his movement from Napoli to Dortmund and then Chelsea.

International Goals... That should be Mide's middle name. 97 Goals in 107 Appearances. Nothing more to say. At 91% scoring rate, nothing seems to be able to stop Mide from scoring. He has been smashing International records wherever he has landed. Just over a goal a game isn't too shabby from Notthatbright either.

What do you guys think? Will Odd-***** be able to reach the highs of Mide? Will Mide ever be matched in goals scored and trophies won? We will have to wait and see what happens. Some believe that Mide has already hit his peak and there is no way he could keep improving, while on the other hand, it feels like Odd-***** needs to settle down with a team to see him reach his full potential. Time will tell.
