The Pirates of the Caribbean
- UPDATE 6 / Date: 1st of January 2019 -

We start this update with a few player updates and their recent from. There have been a few note worthy update to look at.

Odd-***** NOTTHATBRIGHT
Odd-***** has been in tremendous form for Napoli's U20 squad. He has made 19 starts for them since the start of the season. 13 in the U20 league and another 6 in the UEFA Youth League. He has gone on to score 20 goals and assist another 3. His best display came against Barcelona's U19 in the UEFA Youth League when he score a hat-trick in a span of 16 minutes, showing great finishing instinct and putting fear into the opponents hearts. Combined with his 2 goals in 4 International Caps for his country, Napoli's manager Maurizo Sarri rewarded the 19 year with an appearance against Palermo. Napoli have listed him on Loan in hoping to find a team that will give him more time in the Senior squad.

Jeremy OUILLET-VAREILLE
Another player who has been impressing us is Jeremy. This young lad has been playing with Kayserispor in the Turkish 2nd Division and has thus far made 17 appearances. Scoring 1 goal and has 6 assists under his belt. Pretty darn good for a defender. If he can keep up his good form, surely a team will come knocking.

MIDE
Our highest valued player is surely playing to his standards. With 14 league appearances, he has notched up 7 goals, 3 assists, 3 Player of the Match awards and has a performance rating of 7.46 in that span. PSG are currently in the Quarter Finals of the Coupe de la Ligue. They will also be facing Dortmund in the First Knockout Stages of the Champions League. No word on whether Mide will be making an appearance. As you will see below, he has also been in tremendous form for Jamaica in the Caribbean Cup.

Jammy DADGER
Jammy has also been putting in some good all around performances. 16 starts for Lens thus far with 3 assists and 1 Player of the Match award under his name. One of the few player to have been re-evaluated as of late and his value has almost doubled to $2,300,000.

Twigg MURDOG
He is finally got confirmed in the starting line up for Chateauroux in France's Ligue 2. He has made 7 substitute appearances for them, scoring only 1 goal. But his fine display in the Coupe de France, has landed him a place in the starting 11. His Cup start included 2 goals in a span of 11 minutes. Earning him the Player of the Match award on the way. Mr. Murdog will be hoping to continue on his fine form.

BOLZY & HULKSTER
They have both been the pillar of Manchester United U18's run in the UEFA Youth League. They topped their group with 6 wins in 6 games and a goal difference of 16! They both have combined for a total of 1 goal and 3 assist. These two Soca Warriors could be the future that United fans have been waiting for.

Hans Christian PEDERSEN
Hans is starting to slowly make more appearances for Manchester City's youth squads. He currently has 6 starts and 3 sub appearances. In the 6 starts, he has gone on to make keep 4 clean sheets and conceded a total of 5 goals in 9 appearances.

- New Record -

MIDE
Mide broke the Jamaican record of most goals scored in a single calendar year with 12 goals. Already with 36 caps at the tender age of 20, Mide is 2 goals away from tying the all time record for goals scored by a Jamaican, held by Luton Shelton. Luton finished his career with 55 caps.

- CFU Caribbean Cup -

No one could have predicted the outcome of this tournament, once again. With Jamaica's full on favorites to win it all, the tournament came to a climax when the Reggae Boys took on the Soca Warriors in an epic battle for supremacy for top the group honors.

To remind everyone, the top team in both Group A and B go head to head for the title. With Trinidad & Tobago drawing with Curacao in the 2nd match of the round, they needed a win to top the table while Jamaica also needing a win to draw on level points with Curacao and hope to advance by goal differences if Curacao beat Guyana in the final match day.

With both games underway at the same time, Curacao end up winning their match 2-1 in a tightly fought affair. In the clash of Caribbean titans, Jamaica took the lead in the first half from Mide's 36th minute goal. T&T against the wall, Notthatbright took matter into his own hands and equalized in the 61st minute. Twigg Murdogg was brought in not long after and T&T piled on the pressure to go for the win. The final whistle ended the game with a 1-1 draw and both teams crashed out of the tournament.

Soca Warriors would go on to win the 3rd place match against vs Guadeloupe 2-1 in extra time. The finals was played between Martinique and Curacao. And for the second year running, Martinique would end up lifting the cup by winning their match 2-1.

Mide would go on to make 6 appearances for Jamaica, scoring 5 goals and assisting 2.

Why can't Pedersen join a smaller club on loan? Freaking hate City!

I assume that Captain Barbosa has retired? Since he has failed to sign for a club in 4 years.....

God **** it MIDE!!!!! You stole the show... I was supposed to be the one Jamaican wanting to sign for PSG!!!!!!

Jason Malaka, Celestine Yayabaro and Captain Barbosa are still free agents. They haven't retired just yet. Still strutting their stuff for their national teams. Though all three are being watched by Italian clubs closely.

- Retirement Announcement -

Jason MALAKA
Jason has taken the decision to hang up his boots on the 9th of February 2019. He was not able to find a club to sign him. Malaka went on to make over 30 international U20 caps and was on the score sheet on more than 20 occasions.

- Records -

MIDE

Mide has finally broken the record for most goals in a Jamaican jersey. Mide scored 2 goals against Belize on April 2nd to ensure his name is in the Jamaican record books. It took the striker 38 games.

Already 30 apps for the national team, not bad. Would like to play some more 1st team football though...

Odd-***** made 48 apperances scoring 33 goals first season. Next season he did not get a singel game for the same club???
I think the manager was corrupt :-)

why has no one signed Celestine?! Anybody, please anybody! (except Utd, Real or Liverpool)

I think that is a mistake in the game. I know he was a free agent for a few days or signed and resigned for the same team. So it calculated it wrong i believe.

It still baffles me too. He is being watched by Juventus and Napoli still. They have been doing so for so long now. Hopefully it would happen soon.

Other Info: I should have another update coming up tonight. :) We will be looking into each player's Injury History.

Another season another loan. At least the clubs Dadger is getting loans at are playing him unlike some other clubs....
