So guys we played Sheff Wed at home in our next match, and I chose to start the same team that started in the last match..... It was a really exciting match.......

View attachment 352698

We won!!! 4-1!!!! 4-1nce (lame pun i knw) I couldn't belive what I was seeing, we were absolutely dominating...... managing 22 shots on goal, the first was particularly gr8, as Matt Smith equalised for us immediately after they went ahead but then..... It was a Lewie Roberts show who is the first player to get a hattrick this season, he was absolutely superb and also assisted Matt with a gr8 cross for the first goal............

After the half-time we were constantly bombarded by long balls from their team and also we were struggling to get a foothold early in the second half, but our GK Jay came to our rescue everytime, Abdulkareem was making a lot of mistakes in defence and his lack of pace was causing us some problems, so I subbed Matt off as he got a bit tired, brought on Yosef and shifted Abdulkareem upfront, after that the match turned on its head, we started creating more chances, but poor final deliveries meant we couldn't score before Abdulkareem delivered a gr8 thru ball for Lewie who tucked it away with ease and then followed it up with another assist for Lewie...... Our midfield was really solid in creating chances, especially the partnership of the trio was gr8, as they constantly caused trouble for the defenders with some brilliant one-touch passing, our wingbacks would then make runs to get it into crossing positions, for our midfielders to find them.....

The only weak-point was our defence which still looks shaky, and hopefully after Cheah comes back in the next match, our defence might improve a bit..... buckle up defenders, our attackers cant do everything! Help them in the best way u can!

Jordan Ridd - CM/AMC/RB

G'day gaffer, just thought I'd swing by to grab an alteration to my training schedule, the midfield coach has recommended a more technical-based training focus so could you switch me from stamina training to work on the role of box to box midfielder please? Cheers!

sure!!!

May I ask what I did in the last match to get the motm and a 9?

U were pretty solid defensively but ur crosses were the reason u got 2 assists and created some havoc in the defence...... that's why probably u got a solid 9!

1st hat-trick! A great 9.7 also! Had 82% fitness so must be great fitness!

I apologize to guys who aren't playing very often....... but dont worry come the end of season, u'll see that u would have played almost the same amount of matches as others

****. should've put ST as prime position instead of CB, lol. 8.9 rating.. about that slow defense from me when i played as defender, maybe i should drop a bit deeper, sweeper-esque style.

sorry for only 3 updates today guys.... i was busy today, so couldn't play, but i should be able to play more tmrw :)

so.... so sorry guys, I was really sick, so didn't play at all, hope u guys understand!

Here are some news, after that sheffield match.....

Well..... congrats! hope u do well for ur nations.. :)

Our next match was against Brighton, and this is the team I chose to start against them...
View attachment 351775

I decided to play Butterfingers today just because I wanted to try something new..... I also brought in Cheah in the centre, and put him as a BPD, hoping that we could utilize his high creativity trait.... Also Williams was a bit tired so I brought Jason Henderson.....

The rest started like last time....

This is what the scoreboard says:

We managed to scrape thru, thanx to Henderson, who I decided to start ahead of Williams, what a wise decision it was, in truth the match was quite boring, and neither of the teams created a lot of chances.... We need to improve in the next match, even good players have bad days at the office and this was one of them, hopefully this happens once in a year!

We were next gonna play Nottm Forest.....
I had high hopes for this match ... this is the team I decided to start...

View attachment 351773

Keane started ahead of Max, who even thou had a gr8 game last time, but had a fitness of 94, so I dropped him.... also I dropped Questra who also had a poor fitness, and brought Entwistle..... Also since Matt hadn't scored for the last 2 games, I dropped him for Bjunes..... also Lewie didn't score in the last match, so if he doesnt score, he 'might' be dropped for the next match......

Here's what happened...
View attachment 351772

So yes, we managed to scrape thru with a win aginst Nottm, with the winner coming in literally the last seconds of the game, with Matt scoring with 5 seconds of Injury Time left...... but If I take anything away from Keane, it would a huge crime, coz he was by far our best player, crossing continuously for our strikers, he also assisted Matt with a brilliant run followed by a gr8 cross, which Matt headed in..... gr8 job Keane!

Lewie missed a lot of chances in this game, he had like 4 Clear chances, and he fluffed them all, also we were quite poor defensively, as they found a way behind our defence 2 times in the first 5 minutes, but missed like 'torres'....
We were really lucky in this match but I have to say, we deserved to win, just because of the sheer number of chances we created for our Strikers.......

Some news:
View attachment 351771

Unfortunately, Entwistle is out injured..... but only for a few days!

Our next match was against Bournemouth, who were performing pretty poorly in the league, and were lying in 15th position, I was sure we could win this.....

This was our Starting XI...
View attachment 351770

I made a few changes to our line-up for this match, just because I was confident that I could win, and I also wanted to give others gametime.... so David and Whitehead replaced Abdulkareem and Meakin.... and Our midfield was completely changed with Questra, Lewis and Middy coming in for Daniel, Ridd and West...... Our strikeforce was the same, even thou Matt scored in the last match, but since he hadn't played well for 2 matches before the last match, so I wanted to be fair to others!

This is the result of the match:

Well I guess Matt has a knack for scoring late goals, and he was disappointed for being dropped by proving it on the pitch, well done Matty boy, well done! Bjunes also scored, that means he WILL stay in the team for the next match..... Also Middy was the Motm as he got an assist for the Bjunes' goal.... Yosef had a poor game, getting sent of early was not acceptable, so I fined him for a week and he accepted it, so that means he isn't a bad lad, he probably just got carried away at the moment.....

Lewie also had a poor game, missing a couple of chances, maybe he needs a rest...... Overall we were great in creating chances despite being down to 10 men..... This match is also and example to those who think, Having more shots means more chances to win, which in truth is completely false, as u can see they had more shots, but none of them were quality, whereas we had less no. of shots, but 50% of them were quality chances.......

Our next match was against Huddersfield, here is our Starting XI

View attachment 351768

I brought on Abdulkareem for the suspended Yosef, also Cheah had a poor condition so I replaced him with Meakin... Williams replaced Henderson, as he also was in a poor condition..... Middy was dropped for the same reason, so was Questra.....

Lewie was dropped as he hadn't scored for 3 matches, and unfortunately for him, Matt's reaction to being dropped was superb! I also changed the role of Bjunes from a poacher to a Treq., as he requested it and I also wanted to tweak the tactic a bit...... U will know how that change turned out to be!

This is how the match finished!
View attachment 351767

We absolutely thrashed them, and Matt Smith deserved his hattrick but he hit the post twice after scoring those two, how unlucky could u get...... The switch to Treq. worked like magic, as Matt always had tons of space available to him, because of the constant roaming of Bjunes, also the shots with which Matt hit the crossbar were both brilliant thru balls from Bjunes, so that switch works brilliantly......

Ridd once again scored from a well taken free-kick from the edge of the area! The next Pirlo maybe?

Our fourth goal was awarded to Williams, when I felt it was an own goal........
Something like this happened, Ridd set up Questra with a brilliant thru ball and when one-on-one with the keeper Questra hit it straight at the keeper, and the ball bounced into the feet of the onrushing Williams on the right side, who then decided to lob into an open net, but the shot lacked power, so the keeper got up and fisted it straight onto the head of his own defender who was trying to clear the ball, and the ball ended straight in the net! Nonetheless, it doesnt matter how it goes as long as the ball goes in the net!

Two more matches to come soon!
and sorry for the bad description, still a bit ill, so not as creative as I would like

Good to see lots of wins. I think I need to learn to stop trying to tackle people with my head though...

Matt Smith loves his injury time strikes!

And a lucky first goal for Williams, haha as long as it goes in it's all good!

Oh, and Italy could have a **** of a team in the future!

We were going to play Wolves next...... and after the last match , I had really really high hopes for this match!

Here's the result of the match!

View attachment 351702

We thrashed them again! we were absolutely superb in attacking, and were pretty good in defending, I would also like to mention the efforts put in by Abdulkareem in defence who headed clear every thru ball that attempted from his side......

Also Matt scored again, and should've scored a brace again, as he hit a volley straight at the crossbar!..... that Treq. role is working amazingly, Matt always has space with him, and all our players try to find him with some gr8 passes, also Bjunes' movement is amazing, he tries to get at the end of every pass, played towards him.....

Also West scored a brilliant Free- Kick, into the top right corner which gave the keeper no chance.... We are blessed with a good set piece specialists it seems.........
Reallllllllly happy with our performance, and that role change was a masterstroke, Premier League, watch out!, Here we come!!!!

Also....

Unfortunately Lewie roberts is out for a long time...... hope he comes back with a bang!

Our next match was against Iswich away..... judging by our form, we should wash them away!

View attachment 351700View attachment 351699

We absolutely dominated the match, and deserved to win by a bigger margin!
Matty boy scored again, he is in amazing form, let's hope he continues this feat till the end of the season.......

Also Keane scored a well taken goal, assisted by who else, Matt! Matt unselfishly passed it into the path of the overlapping Keane, who fired a rocket!

So we have challenges for each and every position, Butter, Jay and Lionheart all r gr8 keepers, our defence has some amazing players, Max and Keane are finally putting up an equal show for the LWB position... Joe and Jason are also giving me selection problems at RWB, our midfield is tough to decide, and our strikers, everyone scores......

I m probably ill because of the selection headache :P

One thing's for sure, we are getting promotion, and that also means, gametime for everyone!
