Yea we probably won't we don't have the squad I don't think.

I understand that the Premiership is the greatest League the World it has the greatest Teams in the World and I think that if you took Everton or Villa maybe even Tottenham placed them in Germany they could walk away with a title.

Real Madrid and Barcelona would NEVER win the Premier League they couldn't handle teams of the Premiership.

Totally agree, they couldn't.

They will start bringing zimmerframes onto the pitch soon enough, the Premier League is the best division in the world, up-tempo, all the best players from around the world play here, simple fact is that they are good in the league's they currently play in and can do well in the Cup's because it's only a few matches, but 40 games a season of our calibre.. couldn't hack it.

I agree also.

Any top 10 side from PL could get a top 3 finish in most league's around the world.

Totally agree thats why i wish scottish teams like hearts etc had the money to attract better players to the spl, it ould be so much better than the 2 horse race for the past 24 years.

I hope rangers do celtic are too cocky i hate em lol

I think we should start a new thread about the spl and another about the best leagues in the world cos the only 1 on here that will say spain is raul's boyfreind up there

I sincerely hope we won't come to the question whether scottish football is better than spanish football. Not seriously, I mean. Come on, internet warrior let's stop this, everybody agrees premiership is the best league, I said ARSENAL are ****, not the premiership.
And let's stop internet mighty showdowns, you started saying my team was ****, I say your team was **** end of discussion, now you make a poll in an english speaking forum about which one is the best league in the world what results do you expect, even I agree.
Well, Raul has at least more CL than arsenal in its whole history, fact, but I don't think we can discuss it like gentlmen so let's insult each other!

And I'm probably the only spanish here who actually watches la liga, so try to speak about things you know.

Back on topic

The thing I'd most like to see in Football Manager 2010 is a legends feature.

Have for example the Fifa 100 players http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_100
hangon after reading th elist it looks a bit **** so maybe the this would be better : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_...#The_100_Greatest_Players_Of_The_20th_Century

Could work like regens, a legend will pop up by chance randomly, and they would be the schnizzle.

Gordon banks
Cafu,Bobby moore, beckenbaur, p maldini
keane
garinncha,zidane, maradona, best
van basten

A couple of other suggestions:

Occasionally, have clubs saying that have signed an agreement with a player (such as Real Madrid's pursuit of Ronaldo) and be able to have a running battle with that club/manager
When you occasionally get a media message from a former player saying something about a current player (I recently got one saying a former player felt "so-and-so didn't have a mature enough maturity to warrant a place in the first team" even though the player was playing well), I'd like to know which former player it is and then have the oppurtunity to refute their comments.

thats a terrible idea!

Tactically i think they make it harder each year. I think they should release some standard tactics with FM 10 that will work so that people who want to 'plug and play' without worrying about if their tactics are wrong can enjoy the game- i.e buying/selling and the rest. when championship manager first started tactics were a small element and the game was still fantastic.

I have seen quite a few people in this forum at the end of their tether with how hard the game is tactically, so it may benefit SI if you could plug and play. Of course the option to create your own tactic should still be kept for those that enjoy it.

must admit its hard to the point were you can loose six on the row, and cant work out why, there is a lot more to consider tactics wise.
I don't no how well the game would turn out if they catered to casual and hardcore at the same time.
Think it really needs to be one or the other

And Buying players isn't stupid?

i don`t see why having the option to build your own stadium is such a stupid idea, in prefrences you could untick the option and not have it in your game if your in the lower leagues it would make the game alot better than to kept asking to expand and getting refused when ur max attendence is like 2,000 and u have made it to the prem its a pain in the ****! also lma is **** and there is no football chairman manger 09 and as for making one i wouldn`t know where to start! u could mess with data editor and make attendence higher but then thats just lame!

Real life managers don't get involved in the negotiations of buying players, that's the job of the chairman or football director. So why not buy a small team and control everything, I mean everything, I don't need press conferences, but I'd like to coach the team, buy the players, choose how to spend the money of the club! In the suposed Football chairman you couldn't be the manager.

i think you should have the option to be the owner choose and sack managers and inject money to the club on your own behalf.
when you win trophies you get more money to inject.

I reckon expanding on your back story would be good, for example, if your past experience was as a professional footballer, then being able to show which clubs you played for, giving you a connection with the clubs and letting you have more feelings for clubs. Allowing you more than 1 fave club or a fave club and some other favoured clubs. Like myself for example, I'm a huge Newcastle and Gateshead Fan, but I live in Elgin in Scotland. They are utter pump but they are my local team and I have grown feelings for them over the past few years.

I'd like to see a bit more common sense by the board. For example, I recently took over Rushden and Diamonds partway through a season. When I took over they'd played 10 games and were bottom of the BSP with 4 points. Since I took over I've played 12 more games, only llost one and I'm now only 5 points off the playoffs. Yet in my most recent performance review they said I should be performing better in my role and the club's performance in the league is very disappointing.

It's the same when you play with Bournemouth or Luton, they don't seem to take into account that you had a massive points deduction.

It just seems that the board don't consider where the club was when you took over and they ignore the pre season expectations that you set.

They should look to have an improved youth academy system. You should perhaps be able to:

- Sign School boys (Because they look at youngsters to sign, not just teenagers)
- Maybe attend an annual youth day where youngsters play in a match or a competition where they try prove themselves and get signed. (You could attend and your assistant recommends someone but it is ultimately your decision who to sign)

These would probably help spread the talent through the game. It is quite annoying how all the best players seem to generally end up at the same club...

I love this idea personally, maybe even be able to do it kinda like this.....

You start out being able to create a player for a team who is average or what not, has decent potential and you can manage that team throughout his career or further if you wish and be able to take on his life as a manager.

Obviously only with regens and a specifically created character would this be possible. Or as the guy above said before be able to create a history with a team, but if you dont want to just implant yourself into someones history that never actually happened then do it the way I stated.
