Football Manager 2010 changes?

more realism there are just too many headers that make no sense, players aren't very smart and who sends a ball out when there is nobody in a 10 yard radius??????
Point is, make it more realistic instead of fancy 3D
 
i want them bending runs back cos cahill was scoring 25 goals a yr plus on old fm from midfirld coming in between strikers and i think a better start when ur appointed manager just somthing simply like a manager that u can create facial wise holding the club shirt. more in depth transfer negotiations offer um like a house n that like real life.

realistic offers like if u offer messi 300 000 a week he wnt reject thats just a example never dun that but u get my drift. more questions and answers or if u could type your own answer at the post match press conference. i like the idea of startin as a under 18 manager or reserve.

realistic offers? pretty sure man city offered kaka that kind of money and he said no. its not all about money, despite what everyone says some players have loyalty nowadays. messi has been at barca since he was 10 or something, i personally dont think he will ever leave.

yh i agree m8...

i think it was on fifa manager they gave you the oppotunity to actually control training. meaning you could tell theplayers to do individual things for a certain amount of time, this included everything to do with fitness and technical training (rather than on fm you just have the base training such as aerobic, attacking etc). if they introduced that i think it would be better.
 
I agree with others about wanting to see sideways arrows in tactics again. I also wanna see the long arrows that stretch to the byline for wingers. I would also like to see the player search tool tweaked cos it annoys me when my assistant manager rules out unrealistic targets but when I approach a realistic target they don't wanna go near me (or maybe its cos my assistant is *****? actually, that seems more likely). The press conferences definitely need revamping....I like the idea of them but not the repetition
 
MOre options in team talk so you dont keep saying the same stuff ova nd ova
 
more options when building a new stadium, and decide how it looks.then put this in the 3d engine

I agree. Maybe have bizarre options like "kick a football boot at" or "throw crockery" ala Fergie. That would be cool
 
I agree about the pressconference needing more work. Also it would be good to be able to do something with the wages you earn as a manager.

The problem with being able to something with the wages is that you are then entering Sims territory eg buying houses, cars or whatever and I don't think they will ever go down that route with the game.

thats what you do if fifa manager mate no where as good as fm in gameplay but the personal side to it makes it feel more professional.
 
I'm pretty happy with fm 09 but i want it to be easier for me and my players become club icons\legends and get the recognition we deserve.

Also roy keane and solksjaer bigger man utd legends that ferguson. Really WTF.

Actually now that i think about it there are a few things but i'll only do three more.
1. george best not even an icon. what a joke.
2.big teams buying players who can barely kick a ball.
3. arsenal totally dominating england. five times in a row before i moved to man utd.

P.S i'm sorry if this has already been brought up

now that i've realised i want macheda as a player with good PA.

looks everyones applying to next Mou.. People are way over their heads, i want FM to be what it really is - a game. I hate the 3d engine, i don't wanna make everything, i want a game to be simple. i mean, 12 y.o kids (or less) play FM. Do you expect a 12 y.o to set prices and stadiums and tickets and kits and board management, on and on...?

for FM10 just bring up the old CM style, those were golden days. And, arrange the money feature, like, 7M irl its a lotta cash, while ig, for most of the "monetary safe" teams are just some changes. we have people (in football) starving these days you know, so paying 35M ++ for a person its just ridiculous for us, tho non-manchester city president-people
 
fm 2010 should bring back the old perferred moves like they had on fm 08 'cuts inside' or 'switches ball to other flank' and many others i really miss them on fm 09.
 
how about the board having memory of what you have done for the club. Eg a board update will say the board are Satisfied with your performance as manager, when 6 months ago they were delighted because you won the treble.
The board seem to have the attitude of if it happened 3 months ago it didn't happen

The idea about subs is good though. Expanding on the press conference would be good. E.g. If you lost, and were asked you could be given options such as 'the defence wasn't good enough', 'they outplayed us' or 'couldn't hit a cow's **** with a banjo' etc.

I like the idea about the press conference. But is it possible to write your own answers? You will be given several possibilities and one possibility that is just a space to write your own answer.

Also possibility to postpone a match if you have many players away for international duty.

Talk to your players, and here again, say what ever your want to them. Ask the players to do something to bring up the morale, have dinner before match or laser tag. Like before Final in League cup, FA Cup or the Premiership. Then the the captain gives you feedback on how it went and e.t.c.
 
I think that a quick word in the lads ear before you send him on as a sub would be great, you can do this for a half time team talk, e.g. some players respond well to 'No Pressure!' and end up scoring, a word like this would be good when using a player as a 70th minute sub! Clinching you the game in the dying minutes, please do it FM10!! :wub:
