Lookin forward to the demo version, actually I still have the game I started in the FM11 demo and I play it occasionally lol.

If I can add the leagues I want in the demo then probably I'll continue playing it after the release of the game.

You raise a good point. I imagine that will be possible and will be quite a good incentive for people to buy the game if they are enjoying their demo half-season.

Lol thinking about it, 80% of my saves never get past half a season anyway.... I could just keep playing the demo over and over!

Seen today on play.com the release date is 21st October compared to ASDA who say the 28th. So it's sometime that week.
I'd say the demo is out 7th October(ish)?????

Not something I would suggest anyone to do. The demo will still have error's and glitches on it, which might spoil some of the fun.

Play are just speculating, no dates have been announced.

Yeah, the same with ASDA and a few others but they are all in and around that week so hopefully it's about then. Can't wait to get fired into it.

im not being funny but before christmas is the best we get? half of the actual football season is over before football manager games are released why are they never released like begining of october when the season is still relatively fresh?

takes a long time to make the game as good as it is. Would you rather it be released earlier and be filled with bugs or released later with less bugs?

I'd rather wait til christmas if it means fully polished and bug free. Nothing worse than a rushed game. Not only would it **** off customers, but would also result in revenue loss.

i understand it takes a long time and ill buy it either way but im sure there are people out there who pass on it because of release dates...i just dont want to wait!!

I wount be downloading the demo am just going to wait for the full game is out to play

I don't mind the release date, personally.
It's around the time I finally conceed that my team isn't going to win anything, anyway. So, it allows me to shift my focus from when we have to play Man Utd again...

the game is generally released between mid october and early november, hardly half of the season

After the release date announcement today 21st october anyone have a clue when the demo'll be released

2 weeks before released usually so expect early October (around the 7th)

I think they should release an early demo version (maybe at the end of August/start of September) before having a 'full demo' version which covers all the transfers and has less bugs which is released around 1 month before the game comes out.

Then, if they release the game late, no-one will mind that much as they already have the full demo and probably won't play past 1/2 a season anyway.

Looking forward to the full game, but I will download the demo as well of course.
