mixed up pic of tottenham match
I've just been promoted to the Southern Premier Division with Uxbridge and I just found your thread right now, which is really nice as I have a few questions.
How did you find your staff? Currently my scout + assistant manager have both left, and I can't seem to find anyone that wants to join my team... They either want 100 quid / w, and unlike you I can't offer that much (Guernsey has **** loads of money for a team so low, wow), or they just outright don't want to join. This is so frustrating, I have NO staff at all.
Youth players... in your first youth intake you got players with like 17 passing, players with 20 (!!!) finishing etc., was this just luck or did you influence this with your coaches, as your youth facilities must have been ****, right? I also can't upgrade my youth facilities yet as I didn't start with 275k like Guernsey but rather like 2k, so my board says I don't have enough funds, so I was also wondering when can you register your youth team for a youth league?

Fantastic story... Really outstanding. I can see that you inspired bunch of folks into doing youth challenge. Keep on going 'till Champions League glory... Can you do me a favor? If not problem, can you post SS of couple best serbian players? Want to see how my countrymen are doing on football field...

WOW I can't believe you got Stacy Salt as a greyed out player. I usually don't even bother to look at the greyed players if I end up with any! Some of the youth players you got in that intake are just unbelievable!

I know right! One of the best players i've ever had in any version of football manager

I think your problem is you have no assistant manager. No one to take out un realistic targets. maybe try to poach one off a team in your league? Guernsey also start with pretty good facilities. Add to it that the board are always usually fairly compliant and happy to upgrade. It does make managing them a breeze if im honest.
I have had another grey player that good in championship manager 97/98!

the rest of the squad is about average to be honest nothing to write home about.

this is just the inspiration i needed to start up a new save really good read most enjoyable ive seen on here by far. looking forward to future posts come on green lions. read it all tonight started about 12 ish lmao
one question when you started this did you sell or release players over a cetain age? as most of the players i get each time i try to start a game or in there late twenties?

More loaned them out as i knew i couldn't flesh out my squad. Dynmo Kyiv awaited us in the Europa league knock out stages, Could we beat the Ukrainian powerhouse?
Humiliate is more like it! I thought it was a sign of things to come when Kyiv scored first. How wrong i was.
I felt quite cocky in the second leg and made 7 changes. It made no difference my mostly youth team proving they are still a force.
I was hoping for Lokomotiv Moscow instead of Chelsea, then i saw this! Chelsea were 4-1 up from the first leg.
My confidence wained.
We travelled to the freezing conditions of Moscow intent on getting a result. We did not disapoint. An away goal could prove valuble.
The away goal proved desicive. Through on away goals after the most boring gme i've seen on FM in a long time.
Next round gave us one **** of a game. Benfica portuguese super power.
Should we beat Benfica we will face either Spartack moscow or Atletico Madrdid. Madrid look scarily strong in my opinion.

Hugh Simon is my club captain. He is concidered a legend. He rarely plays now but i try to give him10-15 games a season even if just as a sub.
It's pretty spectacular. I hope to do the same with Uerdingen. I have two promising players for the next couple of seasons at least with Klappert and Manikas but I look forward to my first youth intake as I badly need players. Hoping to sell my current lot of existing players and clear up my finances.
If i hadn't got premiership money they would of had to go. I can afford sentiment now though.
30 Games in some bad and excellent results to boot, losing to Liverpool was down to injuries as much as anything else. Man Utdplayed us off the park as did Arsenal. beating Man City was an excellent result we did not deserve at all.
We are still at the right end of the table. We are also 1-3 games in hand on all other teams because of our Europa League run. Win those and we can sneak up the league.
We are safe from relegation, Already qualified for europe through the league cup and can't hope to get the champions league. We are simply playing for pride now.

After 10 years of asking i have finally got a feeder club.
I obviously don't need them for work permits, However some quality Croation youth through my youth system sounds good. I plan to load up the Croatian league now. If only to aide my players i send there.
