Brilliant in the league and the Europa League. That CB looks like he'll be one of if not the best in world.

I'm .not sure now. Going out on loan has dropped his stats. I neglected to add a recall option oops!

What do we think of this? Yes or no?

Definitely keep him!

No way. He's young, fast and skilled as well as can play in an insane amount of positions, he's brilliant for you and is the best defensive utility player I've ever seen, probably world class. That level of versatility with such a limited player pool is invaluable.

If he is performing well for you why sell? He is brilliant and will only improve.

Definitely keep him!

You are all of course right. I negotiated for 30m. For 30m most of my players are for sale! Tottenham ran a mile so he stays with me.

This season we are looking to improve on last. I would like to make a real planned run on the Europa League. Also try to qualify for the Europa League via the league so this means 6th minimum.

The friendlies went well with only Italian giants Inter Milan beating us.

The first 10 games were great except for the 3 big teams we met. We need to start improving against big teams if we ever hope to win this league.

Currently 9th which is not good enough in my opinion

We had to qualify for the Europa League this year. So we played a team i've never heard of.

Then we played Scottish giants Rangers. Has Scottish football improved over the years the game has been running? No in short.

We did not start the Europa League as strongly as last season, But make no mistake it was still a strong start.
EuropaLeague_OverviewStages.png

Olympiakos dealt with the easiest of fashions, They really were a bad team and i exspected to score more than we did.
GuernseyvOlympiakos_OverviewOverview.png

Salzburg were a well drilled side and made this hard for us, A point was a good result.
FCSalzburgvGuernsey_OverviewOverview.png

Winning by 3 goals in Russia isa truly brilliant result, One that puts us top of the group by a single point.

Our form couldstill be better. We are out of both cups now. So we either need to finish 6th to qualify for the Europa League or win the Europa, although i'm not sure if the winner qualifies for the next season.
fix-6.jpg

We sit in 8th while we are having a bad run of form. We need to string some results together and work our way up the table.
PremierLeague_OverviewStages-2-1.png

We qualify from our Europa League group even easier than last year winning 5 and drawing 1.
EuropaLeague_OverviewStages-1.png

Salzburg fell to us this time. They were hard to break down we had to resort to hoofing the ball upfield.
GuernseyvFCSalzburg_OverviewOverview.png

Olympiakos gave a better account of themselves this time but we were ultimatley better infront ofgoal.
OlympiakosvGuernsey_OverviewOverview.png

An incredible dirty game, where both sides should of been down to 10 men in reality. Job done regardless.
GuernseyvSpartakMoscow_OverviewOverview.png

Dinamo Moscow await in the knockout rounds.
EuropaLeague_OverviewStages-2.png

If we can navigate them, We will face Anderlecht or Marseille.

We have had a storming run, We have not lost a game during this period. I don't think i've ever been able to say that before.
fix-7.jpg

Maybe we should stop thinking about the Europa League? Just look at that 4th!
PremierLeague_OverviewStages-3.png

I now want to consolidate that position who needs the Europa when the Champions LEague is on offer?

The star ratings bug in full effect for this youth intake. I don't think any of the players are world beaters thistime around, However we have some nice solid squad players in my opinion.
GuernseyYouthCandidates_SquadPlayers-4.png

Keanu Mortimer
A bit short for a Central defender, He would need to find some class before he started for me, But Lunardi is the wrong side of 30 and Vicentini is fast approaching it. So who is to say what can happen for him in a few years?
KeanuMortimer_OverviewAttributes.png

Will Coombes
Plays left defence, Notoriously our weakest position until Ayissi came along. However he does sod off to the cup of nations every 5 minutes, So this kid looks like a nice bit of cover.
WillCoombes_OverviewAttributes.png

Michael Langan Stevens
I seem to be getting the full defensive compliment this year. Dwight Druce has been hugley disapointing for me in recent years. If this guy can show even a glimmer of talent he will be in.
MichaelLanganStevens_OverviewAttributes.png

Dan O'Connor
Doesn't look like a world beater, but at 16 looks to have stats in the right places to hopefully become a decent back up man.
DanOConnor_OverviewAttributes.png

Godfrey Bright
Another central midfielder, an area we are simply flooded with talent in. Would have to become something special to shift our current midfield
GodfreyBright_OverviewAttributes.png

1st knockout round of the europa league yet more Russian opposition. Winning away was key in this fixture.
DinamoMoscowvGuernsey_OverviewOverview.png

GuernseyvDinamoMoscow_OverviewOverview.png

In the second round we would face French giants Marseille. 2 wins push us through again.
GuernseyvOlympiqueMarseille_OverviewOverview.png

Atletico Madrid, The team that ended the dream last year await us a round earlier this year. Difference this time is we are stronger and they have sold some of their best players. This gave us the opportunity to power through Winning at Footes Lane, The loss away was not enough to knock us out.
AtlticoMadridvGuernsey_OverviewOverview.png

GuernseyvAtlticoMadrid_OverviewOverview.png

Hamburg in the semi finals and IMO we got the best draw possible, They don't look at all good to me. As it proved when we scored 4 twice. Alex leading the way both times.

So who did we get in our first ever European final?

We just didn't have it in this game Utd ran rings around us and fully deserved to win by even more than they did. We can be proud to make it this far however.

The knock on effect of this was a boost in the clubs stature.

Our form has just imploded. It was all going so well now we cant seem to find back to back wins.
fix-9.jpg

So, we finish 8th again, Failing in my aim of at least 1 position higher. We fail to qualify for Europe.. Less games may mean a better season next year as the europa league added a lot of games to the calendar.
PremierLeague_OverviewStages-3-1.png

Not a bad season but not all i had hoped for. Next season i want to qualify for Europe via the league. My squad is growing in quality every year. We can make a concerted push next season i feel. I set the bar at 6th for next season.

Couple of Qs.

What is your current wage bill p/w?

Also what is your average attendance and how large is your stadium.

Cheers

Wage budget is £1.59m a week, I put as much of my transfer budget into it as is possible. Stadium is currently just shy of 18,000

If you add in your next contract that you must use youth you can get a convidence boost from your board, not that you need it I think :P

Spent my free time over the last couple of days reading this from start to finish. Kind of disappointed that I caught up because now I have to wait for updates :P.
You've done fantastically well, and once I've cleared off my university essays I'll definitely be doing a level 9 youth save with a local team. Might do a story with it depending on how it goes.
Keep it up!

Seems to be going well. Next season just turn those vital draws into winning games and you'll be close to the top 3! :P
